The price gets raised all the time. Next month the price is going up by almost 20%. The price since move in has doubled.

I had a fast and easy check in process for a storage unit I reserved online. Sharma was very knowledgeable and patient. The facility is very clean and is in a safe location. There is plenty parking at the facility, and the loading/unloading area is big enough for multiple movers to occupy at once. Thank you Sharma at Public Storage Weymouth.
I didn't have a good experience, because every month you increased the rent.
And when I complained, you lowered the normal price.
Facility is very clean and has 4 pull carts for customers to use. Shama was very helpful in showing us the unit before we rented it and was very professional making it very easy to get us set up.
Awful customer service and unprofessional employees. Shama the manager pressures you to leave a good review and mention her name immediately. The cost to rent a unit and the amount in price they go up whenever they do, isn’t at all worth what you deal with there. There are a total of 2 dollies within the entire facility available for use, and more times than not they’re occupied when you get there and expect to be using one but then can’t. The bathrooms are ALWAYS locked and not accessible even during regular business hours. When they’re open and employees are still there (if you tell them to unlock it) they’re disgusting and not clean at all. For people who sit in the office all day making phone calls harassing people about their “balances” etc and have time to type up letters to tape around the place saying not to leave trash, etc and that “you’ll be caught on camera”, somebody should be able to handle making the time to clean up the bathrooms. If they’re locked as often as they are, there’s no excuse for uncleanliness. Having an on site dumpster for people to use would maybe be worth the cost… The dolly issue, though, is huge and should be addressed immediately.

I’ve had plenty of troubles with this location since being in this state until they brung Paris to this location and helped me sort out a bunch of things for me. She was very patient willing to help out in anyway possible while figuring out the troubles I had & customer service was excellent. Keep her at this location please 🙏🏾

Rent keeps going up states at $276 2 years later it's now almost $600 and when I look online they have units my size at $288. No one got back to me about the light being broken in our unit. Customer service is no help.
I just wanna say thank you to the young lady Paris she was well organize knows her job I wanna say that I like the good teamwork that public storage has I believe she called someone from Quincy name Alicia One thing she didn’t know she still found a way to get the information just to make sure it was correct very well very helpful both of the young ladies. I love the fact that the facility was very clean. I love the fact that it has climate control. my buddy just rented a unit today and the unit was very clean. Very easy access to the unit thank you Paris we called in an made appointment Paris let me know she will be doing her rounds in the building so I mad appointment at 12:30 I like that fact she did put her personal number on the door for customers to reach her she put a description of what she’s doing so that customers know there is someone here we were laughing. I told her I didn’t think I was gonna make it at 12:30. Me she didn’t think I was gonna come exactly 1230 when I did call her she came down in a hurry so we can move in as fast as I can so that way I can get to work thanks you so much.👍

No complains has been great renting for several years except my roof out my outdoor unit is caving in from the weight of leaves I’d assume? I’ve called and haven’t gotten a call back. Paying $250 a month for the roof caving in a little crazy and I don’t want my stuff damaged

Elevators are broken. Cant access my stuff.
Elevators to the 2nd and 3rd floor have been broken since 9/16. Hopefully you won't need your items or plan to store items.

Don’t expect to find anyone on the premises, rodent problem in both units and throughout the halls (I had no food in unit - & you could clearly see an opening/crack to the outside in my temperature controlled indoor unit). Very poorly ran operation unfortunately.
Rent will go up $40 every 6 months or so (started at $189, now paying over $300 for 10x10)
Unit next to mine was broken into and robbed in February 2023. Weymouth Police contacted me. Officer was disappointed after the District Manager for the area said they would reach out to me first (never has).
Not climate controlled. On hot days, the temperature inside the building is well into the 80s. On the 1st floor there is always a huge puddle which leaks into other units.
Bathrooms are always locked and there is nobody on duty.
Gate is usually broken so not secure facility.
Could be a great facility but it starts at the top and the top doesn't seem to care.

I just wanted to add to my review. I wanted to take a minute to Thank Anthony, the District Manager for this facility and Shama. I had another billing issue at this facility and I am happy to report that Anthony and Shama kindly took the time to work with me and manager the issue promptly and professionally. I really appreciate the time, service and kindness they exhibited to rectify my problem.
This place couldn’t possibly make storage more complicated and frustrating. This location doesn’t have anyone onsite, everything has to be done by appointment. Which means if you have an immediate issue, you will have to call the main number where they may or may not be able to help you after waiting on hold for at least 10 minutes. Our gate code didn’t work and it was a 1.5 hour hassle to get in and out (and the issue still isn’t actually resolved). There were other issues too that would take a short story to explain. Find a different storage place if you want a hassle-free experience.

Customer service was disappointing. If you go in to pay the unit personally or have a question about your unit or about your bill, there is never anyone around in the Weymouth Public Storage unit in at 1470 Main Street Weymouth.

So imma be honest and not beat around the bush sharma is to pushy especially on the day i started to rent a unit there she kept pushing me to post a review and it was extremely uncomfortable and after 3 months of me being there they tried going up on the rent to 130 for a 5x10 so i called customer service and they went back to a greed amount 3 months later they pushed to 130 again i tried to pay my rent on the first but the app messed up so i was NOT able to pay it or access my belongings and they charged me a $20 late fee that i had to fight to get waved i told Sharma that my stuff was going to be out by the first so she decided to lock me out of my unit over $20 witch is sad there is one property manger who helped me with pushing the late fee to waved and was wicked nice about it and wasn't pushy at all she also got me my access back so i can retrieve my belongings and move out to goto a different storage place with better prices and NO rent increases at all but if you ask me Sharma is not good at her job and makes people uncomfortable and is extremely pushy and locked me out of unit over $20 and did nothing to help me at all

I rented a 10x30 drive-up access storage space and first brought mystorage on Sunday, January 29th, 2023. The rental unit was clean, and all the details were just as expected/promised (the lock I purchased from Public was in the unit, the tab lock on the bay door was easy to break, and the mobil application allowed easy entry and exit from the secure property). But the real reason I highly recommend Public Storage at this South Weymouth MA location is one of their customer service representatives: Sharma. Sharma provided excellent customer service via telephone during the "research and decision-making phase" of seeking a storage unit, and her professional and friendly service was evident the day I used the unit for the first time. Sharma was patient with me asking questions. She made sure I understood all of the information and options related to the rental agreement and insurance, so I could make a decision that was best for me. I can honestly say tha the reason I went with Public in South Weymouth MA is because of Sharma's service over the telephone when I was "shopping for a space". And I can honestly say the reason I am recommending this Public location is because of Sharma's continued excellent service in person. A lesson for all of us... being kind, patient, and professional works to get and keep customers!!

However just before leaving was informed I needed to pay a "prorated fee".

The employee named Shama is very professional and helpful with the entire process. She is efficient and hardworking. She explained the policy very well and when the power went off for a few minutes, she had to go through the whole process manually. Always with a smile and never showed how stressful it was for her.
