decided to go with a storage unit, and I was having a really difficult time. I felt overwhelmed and didn’t even know how to get into my unit. Kelly stepped in and helped me through the whole process with nothing but smiles and laughs. She genuinely wanted to make my day less hectic, especially since I had a very important call coming up and was already rushing in not in the best mood.
A couple days later, I even received a call from Kelly just to check in and see how I was doing after everything. That truly warmed my heart. She is one of the sweetest people I’ve met in a while. She went above and beyond, and I honestly think every workplace needs someone like her.
I was moving into my storage yesterday and I met Kelly, what a great manager! What great personality! She took the time to meet me, And make sure that I had everything I needed. She looked like she was ready to go home but she still took time to introduce herself to me. Thank you so much and I would definitely recommend people to her.

I rarely write bad reviews, however I am SO DISAPPOINTED IN THE BAIT AND SWITCH that Public Storage has played on me. I signed up for a "special" deal when I moved in, roughly $120/month. After three months they increased the rent to over $163, a THIRTY SIX PERCENT INCREASE.
The special deal is not special, it is a TRAP to get you to rent a space and then absorb ridiculous price increases.
Avoid public storage, go to their competitors and save your money.

Don’t use this storage company,they keep raising their rates astronomically. All They continue saying “that’s the best rate that’s all we can do”. I’ve been in business over 24 years and it’s really criminal how they hold a customer hostage, no one to contact other than the on premise manager.Make sure you research all the info prior to renting here, get a lease agreement with their rate increases.
In addition there’s a lot info on the internet discussing how they screw their tenants.

This place is scary.
No humans working here anymore. Messages never returned. Office windows are papered over. No alarms. No apparent cameras. And my storage fees have more than doubled over the past 2 years.
Raising our bill an insane amount!
Since moving out on March 15th, I've left 5 voicemails to get in touch with a service person. I finally spoke to a property manager who said she'd close my account straightaway, and she didn't. I'm now getting voicemails again about my account, and they continue to be unreachable. I will not be giving another dollar to this poorly run company. Horrible customer service.

Once AGAIN, I can not access my units due to elevator being out of service. Between this B.S. with the elevator not working and no stairs available, power outages for days without anybody being aware of it, much less letting us renters know so we can remove anything we need to since it is no longer climate controlled, which we are paying for, the health dept. being called because of the washroom, even though calls had been placed for weeks to the property manager about the toilet not working and people continuing to use it. It's understandable that they would convert to self service. With no one here to tell there is a problem, then they don't have to fix a problem. If you need climate controlled storage, may I recommend

I have been with Public Storage for three years and the increase in storage fees is ridiculous. The rate for a small unit has gone from $163 to $283. When I began there was a person there who could answer questions and now there is no one. So there are few services with greatly increased fees. I don’t recommend Public Storage!

Public Storage used to be one of the best. As of late, they no longer have someone on site to discuss any issues, and they no longer let you use the restroom, which is inhumane, by the way. All this while raising rates by almost 50% for some of us who have more than one unit in multiple locations. I'm currently making arrangements to empty my unit.
Edit: I'd like to add that the last time I went there, I was able to use the restroom. The door handle wouldn't lock and was probably broken, and there was no soap, but at least I was able to use it.
UPDATE: This place is scary! No one working on site anymore, windows are papered over. No alarms anywhere, no conspicuous cameras. Doesn’t feel safe.
I won’t go there alone anymore.
BTW, my rental fees have DOUBLED in 2 years.Time to pack up my stuff and get out of here

Storing most of my life in Public Storage has been a wonderful experience! Jamie is extremely helpful & empathetic. She contacted me prior to the holidays to remind me about my payment due date to ensure the unit didn’t go to auction. The facility is extremely nice, clean & high tech. I highly recommend! The advertise low rates to get you in. There is no contract, so they raise the rates whenever they want. Beware!
There is no one to talk to in person. Called the 800 number left a voicemail for the site manager, never got a call back. Trying to call anyone with the company is a dead end. only chance to talk with someone is on the web page via chat M-F business hours only. Had 3 lockers at this site. closed out 2, one had no problem the other was ignored, both were done the same day. The rates for the lockers keeping going up all the time, yet you can rent a new locker for less than half the price of the one I have, same location, same size. The bathroom was without toilet paper or soap for over a week. The two drinking fountains in the lobby are turned off. they say it is climate controlled, but they don't tell you the temperature is in the 80's in the storage area, not very nice when working hard.
All is all, not good at all.
What's the point of having this facility that has a bathroom? None of us can use it. It's locked
About a quarter of the time, the carts are gone, they only have 3 of them.
During winter time, it can get cold in the third floor, cold enough for you not wanting to do any work in your storage like paperwork, accounting and shipping.
We reserved a storage space online and then went in to see the space. We worked with Brent who was extremely knowledgeable and very easy to work with. He explained everything to us and answered all of our questions. We thought he was terrific and feel very good about leaving our belongings there.
