I'm writing this review simply because of the exit gate constantly breaking. My mom and I are in the process of moving and have taken several trips to our unit. It's already happened twice where we try to leave and the exit gate does not open. It was around 3pm and there was no one inside the office for some reason and we were pretty much trapped in the parking lot for 30 minutes. I had to call the support line and after getting transferred and verifying a bunch of account info, they were able to open the gate remotely. This just happened to us again during open business hours and we waited another 10 minutes for someone to answer the support line and open the gate.

I had an amazing experience here with the manager on site Dany. He truly thrives in offering the best customer service and it shows in the way he goes out of his way to 100% satisfy that customer. I arrived very close to closing time and Daniel stayed with me a bit after closing time showing me everything around the facility and he was not even upset. Upon searching for a storage unit online, I stumbled across a good deal for a 5x10 unit and made a reservation right away to go check it out with my mom. I ended up having more time during the morning on the day of the reservation and called in to see if I could come in earlier; the representative had no hesitation in telling me to come in earlier and provided me his name. Upon arriving to this location (behind Best Buy), my mom and I immediately noticed how secure the place is with the private entrance for actual customers. Daniel, who was the same rep. on the phone, greeted us very humbly and began thoroughly explaining the company policies and rental details. Just after a few minutes, my mother and I were escorted to the unit and decided to proceed with the rental. We are very happy with the initial impression of the place, it very neat and clean. My mom and I are excited to start moving things in and are comfortable with the decision we made in renting at Public Storage. Thank you, Daniel, for your clear instructions, suggestions, and forwardness about the rental agreement!

Alex at Public Storage in Kendall helped make the storage process of our moving from Broward to a new residence in Dade incredibly stress free. If I could give him 10 stars for the level of customer service he provided (AND continues to provide), I would. Our family just can't say enough about how helpful Alex has been and about his professionalism, friendliness and thoughtfulness toward us in this aspect of our move. The storage facility is very well kept, clean, secure and accessible for longer hours 7 days a week as compared to any of the other storage facilities we considered in the area. The Kendall Public Storage facility even has a loading dock for large moving trucks to make unloading much easier - none of the other storage facilities that we looked into in the area had this. In addition, the monthly fee for our storage unit was also the best we found in the Kendall/Sunset area. If you're looking for a very well kept/clean and secure storage facility in the Kendall/Sunset area with great customer service, look no further than the Kendall Public Storage facility at 8590 S.W. 124th Avenue. And don't hesitate to ask for Alex - you won't find better customer service than what he provides - he's just a great person, through and through! Thanks Alex!!!!!

This is a great facility, it's centrally located in Kendall behind Barnes + Noble. I have been their customer for 2 years, and consistently receive great service. Pedro and Robert are wonderful!

The pedro and Robert over at public storage Kendall did a great job making this aspect of the moving process a stress free experience. If you’re lucky, one of the elevators won’t work and you will get stuck with a pleasantly charming property manager for a while—which really helps with customer relations. All in all, we would recommend this clean, well-run public storage to anyone.

This facility along with Robert and Pedro have made moving into our new home an absolute breeze. They have been friendly and accommodating from the start. Would be happy to rent a storage unit from these gentlemen again.

Stored my belongings here for 6 months before the rate increased. I found a better rate for the same size at a competitor so I opted to move out. Overall I left very satisfied and had no issues at all during the time I rented here. The rental process is very simple and can be done fully online. The website is very easy to use and has everything you need to service your account. Robert helped me during my move out and he was very helpful and nice. Thank you, Robert!

I rated this location with 3 stars, because it's generally clean and everything works. Unfortunately, what leaves a bad taste in my mouth is the fact that they are CONSTANTLY increasing rates. It seems like they actually like to penalize tenants with rent increase the longer you rent a space. Being that I have one unit in this location and a second (same size) unit in another Public Storage in Houston, it's also disgusting to know that I pay over $120 in Miami and only $64 in Houston. Also, in the year I've rented the unit in Miami, I've had three rent increases and not one increase for the unit in Houston. It's actually insulting. I'm clearing out Houston in the next couple of weeks, but I'm so looking forward to clearing out the unit in Miami. If I need to continue using storage, I'll be moving over to Extra Space, because the rates are so much better. This location was only chosen out of necessity.

Miguel Arelys is a real customer service person. He always uses my name and I like that. But he is also very attentive and respectful. He is obviously management material. Superior customer service! Kudos Miguel!

This Public Storage location is AMAZING! The place is clean inside and out. The loading/unloading area is so spacious and they have a big loading dock to accommodate larger trucks. The lobby has many flat carts for customers to use so it makes transporting stuff all the more easy. And the staff there is outstanding! The two managers on site were so warm and helpful and they got us the perfect size space and for such a great deal! Moving is such a hassle but this place and it's staff made the process for us such a breeze and we are so grateful. Thanks so much PUBLIC STORAGE! I would select zero stars if possible. They raised my rates three times within six months. Absolutely a rip off. The smell on the second floor is almost toxic. I will burn my things before getting another public storage.

The policies of this company are horrible and the customer service worst. Once you have been with them for a year they start raising your rent every year. If it's 3 years you are paying $75 more than when you started. If you complain they send you to Katherine Johnson a Regional Manager who does't agree with the company policy(They have incentives and lower rates for new customers only) who has an I don't care demeanor. Save yourself the trouble and do your homework , you can find plenty of other places who value long term customers.

Location is very clean, prices are reasonable in comparison to other locations (especially of that calibur) but best selling point in my opinion was the Customer Service which I recieved. The Rep. that worked with me was called Nicholas, and as a business owner myself this is the type of personnel you want to be on the front lines for your company. Well done!

This is location is very unfriendly, unhelpful, and unclean. On my last visit, there was a dead toad along with live large cockroaches in the corridor. There is never a reminder call regarding payments. The location is Spanish-speaking only. Public Storage offers no "frequent renter" points. In fact, the loyal and longtime customers are given higher rates to offset the promotional rates to new customers. Guadeloupe is extremely rude and disrespectful. I have been a customer for nearly 10 years without even a "thank you." It is very obvious that she dislikes and discriminates against customers who are not Spanish-speaking.

Excellent customer service. I have used this facility in the past and would not go any where else. Friendly staff clean and secure establishment. With the South Florida climate it is nice to have air conditioned units to protect items for weather conditions.

Great Location and Very Friendly Staff! Arelys was on-site when I came looking for prices and availability. She was nice enough to show me around and look for special deals that were available for different units. I ended getting a FANTASTIC deal on a 10x10 temperature controlled unit that was HALF of what some other places were quoting. They usually have some sort of promotion going on so don't be afraid to ask. Safe location with keypad entry for vehicles and elevators, carts for assisting with moving big items and great hours (6am-9pm). Definitely worth a visit when looking for storage units.

Because of poor management, there are only three carts to move your goods in and out. When questioned about the lack of carts, the response was people should stop stealing them. I agree, however there has to be a process to stop the theft. I pay my rent on time, so when I need to access my unit, I should have a cart.
