This place is amazing!!
I was at another PS. It wasn't great. In fact, I was losing hope that I could find a decent, clean, climate controlled, safe storage facility in SD county. Oh my gosh, I was feeling really hopeless and depressed. I actually love Public Storage in general for many reasons, but this place is so great.
1. They have a bathroom that you can actually access and aren't weird about it. You can just use it.

Yes, I know I wrote that three times. It's important and you don't know how much you need that until you don't have access to it, which turns out to be quite a bit. Little questions and concerns come up constantly.
I actually read about this location on my old PS location. I was really trying to find a great place that I liked and felt good about coming and going and feeling comfortable, safe and that I could organize my things and not stress if I had any questions or needed to use the bathroom.
It doesn't get any better than this. Thank you guys so much for killing the storage game and making me feel so welcomed. 🫶🏻
I had a great experience at the Public Storage location on Sorrento Valley Road, and I want to specifically thank Tomisha for her outstanding service.
From the moment I walked in, she was friendly, professional, and very patient. She didn’t just explain the options — she actually took the time to show me different unit sizes and pricing so I could make the right decision.
I was originally considering a 5x5, but after seeing the space in person, I realized a 5x10 was the better fit. That made a big difference, and I really appreciated her honesty and guidance instead of just rushing the process.
As a veteran, I also appreciated that she understood my situation right away. She comes from a military family, and you can tell she genuinely respects and cares. That kind of connection meant a lot to me.
She explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and made the entire move-in process smooth and stress-free. It’s not easy to find this level of customer service these days.
If you’re looking for storage, I highly recommend this location — and definitely ask for Tomisha.

I had a very pleasant experience signing up for a storage unit today at the Public Storage facility on Sorrento Valley Road in San Diego. The facility is very neat and clean with excellent security. Megan was very friendly and helpful. She walked me to the unit and made sure that I had the lock installed and was able to access the facility and my unit through use of the app. Overall, a great experience!

As a long time Public Storage customer that has needed to use multiple locations, this is by far the best location yet. My interaction with the Property Manager, Michael, left a wonderful impression. Michael was communicative, clear, and willing to help. I am so glad I discovered this spot and can rest assured I'm in good hands!
We have used two storage units here for 6 months. We are just now moving out. Everything here stays sparkling clean. It is secure. We’ve not seen a single bug or problem in any boxes and tubs we’ve already unpacked. I highly recommend this location. Michael has taken good care of us in the office.

The place is great, it’s new and is very clean. I am the first tenant in my unit. The security in the building is superb, you’ll need to enter your code three times to get to your unit, and the elevator won’t go to any other floor but where you entered the building and where your unit is at. Michael at the front desk was very helpful and friendly, and he is such a kind human being. I actually was having a very emotional day when I was signing up with the place, and I was very tired and, frankly, snappy, he offered me a friendly hug and, oh boy, I didn’t know how much I needed it. We need more people like Michael in our world. Mike, if you are reading this, thank you, you made my day better. I highly recommend renting a unit from this facility.

This location charged me $25 for a lock that I don't need. You can either use your own cylinder lock or buy one from them no exceptions.

I made two separate in person visits to this property before booking a storage unit. Michael was working both times and assisted me above and beyond what I could have ever imagined. Moving is a life transition that is often accompanied by stress. He helped me navigate the options and make the best decisions based on my family’s needs. His customer service skills are off the charts and he made life simple and easy for me relative to this step in the process. I can’t thank him enough. first of all, they are having one dollar special for the first month currently and I’m taking advantage of that. First of all Michael, the property manager, is amazing. It’s my first time using a self storage so I had a lot of questions, and he answered him clearly, and it was a lot of details. He’s very helpful, and very nice person. I was only thinking of using them for a couple months maybe but it may be something that I can go for a long time. We’ll see. Thank you.

Michael, on-site Manager was helpful getting set up. Best to go to a PS first to see what is space available, prices. Specials etc. And then set up a login. It's simple and Sorrento facility: Use the PS App & then you can open the gate without getting out of the car! WOW

Just switched over to new storage unit recently. Was super easy to do and I love new location. Super convenient, quiet, perfect setup for what I was looking for. My favorite part (besides actual unit) is Michael. He is the front desk guy (and wears many other hats too) and you’d think he would have paid me to rave but no check yet. Hahaha I crack me up. Anyways - he’s super chill and nice with that dry sense of humor. Very helpful and knowledgeable and definitely makes the whole experience easier and better. Happy to rate this place and Michael 6 stars out of 5. :)
