Don't store stuff here. They have arbitrarily raised our rent multiple times. Our unit started at $100 a month. It's almost doubled to $150 since. It's even higher than the price for a new unit twice the size. The app for access also is incredibly slow and doesn't always work...There is a much better storage place literally around the corner on Sherman way.
Update: on our move out day we saw that multiple units had been ripped open and burglarized. Luckily our unit was not touched. Sign on the door says the office is open at 9:30 am but agent was not on site untill after 11am. Glad we moved out.

Ryan got good customer service
I found myself in quite a predicament recently with my storage unit. I had used a moving company to move my contents to Raymer St location and never received a key to the lock on unit door. I didn’t discover this until I needed to move contents out. Normal procedure to remove a lock takes 7 days. I didn’t have 7 days and was totally panicked. Ryan, the property manager came to my rescue. He helped me secure a locksmith on extremely short notice who resolved the whole ordeal. It’s so incredible to find customer service this personal and prompt, while being incredibly kind.
Idk where rafik went but this fat lazy guy you had today jan 7th doesnt open the automatic doors and parks in the handicapped zone. Hes fat not handicapped. Honestly it was disgusting and my mother who is handicapped had to park in a regular space. Please fire this trash employee i haven't been disgusted in someones poor work performance in years

It was my first time here I had never rented out a storage unit was completely clueless and I walked in and Jossef kindly explained the whole process took me to check out a few units and gave me the entire rundown on how it works. Made my reservation online as recommended by the public storage Customer service Rep. after my reservation I made a numerous calls with questions and asking for online assistance, front desk staff Nancy was extremely patient and helpful. I was able to find a reasonable price to what I was currently paying.
Coming to the date of move Rafik was very helpful in walking me thru with cancelling my previous space and accessing the new unit. Also provided me information on the user friendly app. to make it easier to access the elevators without having to remember the passcode. Something I felt so hard became and ease thanks to Rafik, Nancy and Customer service.
Rafik was so helpful and kind! There was some technical difficulty with my account and he was very helpful in resolving it.
If I could leave zero stars I would. I have been completely harassed by this company. I pay my rent every single month, with or without late fees depending, because I WANT MY THINGS obviously. If I had choice right now to NOT have my things in storage I obviously wouldn't. They smile in your face and on the phone yet send threatening emails in regards to a pre-lien??!?! Which prior I had already received a text, a call and an email as a "friendly reminder" of my bill (which I told them I will per usual), then within the SAME WEEK received the lien noticed. They never have carts available for those of us who are not on the first floor, It is 90 degrees every time and it is the san fernando valley, there's literally feces in the hallway because they don't clean up and obviously anybody is allowed in. Miss Heidy, Literally told me last month that I pay every month and I'm a reliable customer, then this? I am insulted . Public Storage really knows how to add more stress to your life AND make you feel like a second class citizen.

I wish I had more space to write how amazing Heidy M. is. Heidy is an exquisite gem & exemplary in customer service. I have Physical & Mental disabilities (chronic autoimmune illness with no cure). I, immensely appreciate the time and patience she provided me, saved me a great deal of time, helped me sort out my many reservations, and unequivocally I would of never ever been able to do it on my own...the cherry on top, she helped me in making my reservations at another Public Storage location (10810 Vanowen St) . Heidy embodies and defines the meaning of "Je ne se quois", "Chapeaux", and Brava! I am eternally grateful! My experience with Heidy, not only swayed me to be a loyal customer of Public Storage, Public Storage is my first recommendation for anyone who needs storage space.

Heidy and Eduardo made everything so easy from understanding the new system (through the phone which is awesome/easy) to understanding the prices, and everything that is available like carts for moving or also selling boxes. Great customer service and very friendly and the area is clean and looks to be under constant supervision which is very comforting.
Every time I have to interact with public storage whether by choice or by happenstance it ends up being a nightmare. What is it about these places that breeds such contempt for their customers. What do they do to their employees to make them hate their lives so much. It feels like the 9th circle of hell.
