There were two workers. First I was being helped by a female staff member then her male coworker took over. Don't know why that happened but it did. Neither worker showed me the unit I was supposed to rent which was very unprofessional. I don't know if it was intentional but there was two storage units across from one another available for rent and both units was open. Which caused a problem 🧐 the problem is I moved into wrong unit. Cameras are viewed at all times so that could have been avoided. No one contacted me. And when I complained I was told they refuse to rent me a storage space and would refund my money. Because I had no call from them and I saw they were unprofessional I asked for this in writing and they did not and have not gave me anything in writing and has not contacted me. They have my address as well as my phone number. They are very rude and very unprofessional and untruthful. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. You been warned 🗣️ Don't rent from them 😔

I really liked the speed and ease of acquiring a storage unit; and the location is maintained well. However, I did not appreciate their random price increase. My rent for a 10x15 climate-controlled space was $263 a month. After just four months - not even coinciding with a new year - they raised the price to $336 - an almost 28% increase! I think they recognized the increased rate was excessive because for the first month with the increase, they gave me “$47 account credit… for being a valued customer” but it made me prioritize moving my things at my first opportunity (at the end of the 8th month).
I’d say overall experience was great, this location is well maintained and clean every time I visit. Great running into Dylan and the rest of team, very helpful.
The gentleman made the move in process so easy and quick. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a secure, clean storage space.

The worst corporate and management I’ve experienced in 40 yrs of working in the industry as well as being a customer !
Rate hike at nearly 40% after the initial hike (the discounted first month of course it’s going to go up, then few months later in 2023 went up 40% pretty full all these facilities but when they did it again, if felt personal auto pay on time visited MAYBE 5 times in 6 months No trash left behind (these places will Hang you if you do and do NOT be there after gate hours YOU WILL BE LOCKED IN until AM. Still can’t believe how that is legal!! No meds and my kiddo and I nearly froze to death! No food But that was another place down the road these peeps not any better! Now I’m at Life storage so far so good and yes they went up on my rent after 3 months but it was at least reasonable $30 extra per month not 80!!Good Luck and contact me if you need help packing or unpacking that’s what we do Full SERVICE moving concierge co and pro organizing 15yrs going strong

This is my first time renting a unit with Public Storage. I made the reservation online and visited the office to complete the rental process.
Joy, who was working this day, assisted me with everything from providing all the information/keys I needed, walking me to and from my unit and giving smart tips for safety and benefit. I was having an OK day, but Joy is one of those people who not only provides great customer service, but is personable and brightens up your day. To say the least, she was an absolute joy!
This location itself seems safe because it is inside a building. The storage units hallways are very clean, including the garage doors. When Joy walked me to my storage unit it was completely clean inside and out. The only thing that could be better is the cleanliness of the elevators, carts and parking lot. Overall, I feel good with my storage unit at this location.

I LOVE this location. I've had units in other storage companies and with Public Storage and none of them compare to this one. This location is always spotless clean and every time I'm there, I see a staff member cleaning around the property to keep it in a great condition. The staff here is always so friendly, organized, and helpful. Specifically Nayely. She's always going above and beyond to help me with anything and everything and every time she helps me, I leave the office extremely satisfied.

My 5x10 unit, the smallest available and located on the very clean, less-traveled 3rd floor, is EXTREMELY expensive at $227 per month, mandatory insurance included. Very well-kept facility but after nearly 10yrs as a customer I might have to consider other options

My storage got broken into twice, along with a bunch of others.
Be careful with this area, it's targeted.
Always clean and a very friendly staff.
But had to move out when the rent went up twice and was over priced. To expensive.

Omg, the manager Valerie was a lifesaver!! At the last minute, close to closing time on a Sunday, I needed over 100 boxes of 2 different sizes and she went above and beyond making this happen for me. Not only did she get me all the boxes I needed, she measured them out to fit the gifts we had to ship AND she help me load up my prius. Which we weren't even sure if it could happen. She went total mom on the situation and loaded me up! Thank you for the great customer service!!!

Nice new facility and well kept up.
Our unit was robbed at this Public Storage location. There is no video surveillance and it seems like it was an inside job since no other units around ours were burglarized (employees can look at our account info and see our home address is in a nice area). The employees at this location were not helpful at all and hassled us when we filed an insurance claim for the $6,000+ stolen items. We had to meet with the local police twice to document the burglary and gather fingerprints. Obviously we will be moving out our remaining items from this location as soon as possible. Try Extra Space Storage instead.

Since I moved my stuff into the Gardena Public Storage they've raised my rent three times and my unit was broken into and things were stolen. No one at Public Storage cares about my unit being broken into - they just keep on raising the rent... It's unfortunate that I'm paying them to have my personal belongings stolen.
Well lit and clean
When I signed up for this storage space at the end of 2011 it was the best deal in the area. I haven't priced units recently so I don't know if the price is still competitive.
I have a space on the 3rd floor. Sometimes I have problems accessing the elevator but it just means having to input my password 2 or 3 times.
The bathroom on the 3rd floor does not work - it has not worked since I moved in.
There are no trash cans available, either.
I understand Public Storage might be concerned about a) the customers destroying the restroom, and b) dealing with dumping problems, but isn't that part of the business?
Adie is the manager in the office and has been there since I began renting while all the other employees have come and gone. I fell behind on my payment and management cut off my lock so anyone could access my stuff and some of my stuff went missing. It is now 2022 and I've had this storage unit far too long. It would have been cheaper to trash everything from the beginning 🤷

Very clean, all indoors Is the loading unloading area is cool. The staff is courteous and very helpful.i have used public storage off and on for 35 years. Why do I go back to public storage because I feel that my stuff is safe there. Prices seem to be kind of high lately but so is everything else.

The process of reserving a unit was fairly simple - I started it online and completed everything in-person. On site, Tatiana was very helpful with all the administrative tasks and setting up auto-payment.
The site itself appears well kept and secure. You need a pin (or the app) to access the elevator. There's ample parking outside and some inside, which is closer to the elevators. Our moving truck was able to fit inside. There's also multiple dollies available for use.

I'm extremely happy I chose public storage on 190th to keep my belongings at. It has been so easy and I've had absolutely no problems since day one of moving things in, not to mention the incredible staff always willing to work with me and have been truly understanding (Chrissy & Arlene especially). Rave review for Lance! Came here to transfer a heavy screen from my unit, but the elevators were down due to maintenance. Before I even asked for assistance, Lance offered to not only direct me to the elevator on the other side, but he offered to help load it onto the cart and into my car. Considering he was new to the location, he knew his way around the floors (it’s easy to get lost there with all the units looking similar). I haven’t experienced such attentive service at this location (besides Jonathan, who is also thorough and kind!), so it was really nice to be helped by an employee who genuinely wanted to help. I hope Lance stays so others can feel just as welcome. Thank you, Lance, for your kindness today!

Stated out at $125?/mo. Now. Its almost $160/mo....!!!!
For what? The space hasn't changed! Security hasn't changed! They don't provide any kind of service! But, if you spend too much time arranging your inventory, they will tell you so and advise you to leave!
That's right! They monitor your every move and what it is you're putting into YOUR STORAGE UNIT!!!
Oh yeah! They also MAKE YOU pay for insurance on your space whether you want it or not! Should your space be broken into, you better have receipts for everything stored or else you won't collect a cent from that $150+/year insurance policy!!!!
I’d like to point out Arlene and Jonathan are by far the most outstanding individuals I’ve personally had to deal with at any and I mean ANY storage facility. Let’s throw in the fact I live 300 miles away in Mammoth Lakes but grew up in Torrance and need somewhere to keep a lot of my belongings while I’m Up in the mountains working. Also I have bounced around to a dozen different places to store my belongings in the pat couple years and majority haven’t had staff near as respectful and reliable as these two individuals have been. I have many scenarios I could gone on about that explain what I’m talking about but bravo 5 stars indeed to the employees of the year not even month!
