Had my stuff stored for most of the summer. When I got back to it most of the stuff got wet somehow and caused mold everywhere. It’s was terrible. The orange door Insurance they make you get is telling me it’s not water damage, it is mold So they only wanna give me$200 for damages. All my furniture was ruined. When I called the manager on site, he didn’t really care. He was just trying to move my stuff to a different storage unit. Definitely go somewhere else. They also wanted to jump the price 40% after 4 months too.

Watch out for outrageous and unfair rate increases! I rented an 8x8 unit for $44 a month in March, was assured it wasn't an introductory rate and that it would remain the same. I even have a contract confirming this. Now, just five months later, I've been notified that my rate will skyrocket by 260% to $114 in August! When I called, they said there was nothing they could do. I feel deceived into renting from them. I plan to move out, even if it costs me extra, because I refuse to deal with such a dishonest operation.

This public storage is a great place to store your belongings Basir the manager is very friendly and is always there if you need help with anything he is always checking up to make sure everything is ok and always very courteous. They have great security and feel that my belongings will be safe until I’m ready to move them into my home. I would definitely recommend this location.

Today I contacted the Ygnacio Valley Mini Storage, on behalf of an 88yr old elderly person who has been in the hospital for weeks. They had received a notice of lien for a storage payment due 6/1/24. I spoke to a manager that demanded payment for June and July. Unfortunately, we do not have access to her funds and the family lives out of the country. I asked if we could have the family member (that is in Thailand) could make the payment online. Manager said no, cash or cashiers check only. I asked if we paid the full $706.00 for June & July now and we moved everything by 7/5 would they prorate the month of July, considering the circumstances. He said they will not discuss anything like this until the balance is paid in full. Meanwhile, the elderly person has been paying on time for years and years. There was no compassion for their long time customers. I will never use this storage company. And anyone that does, better make sure their loved ones have access to funds and the space or they could end up losing family possessions.
