Like your rent being increased by 30% with NO NOTICE after 3 months? This is the place for you!
Received zero notice and noticed that my card was being charged an extra $50 per month. Inquired about what was going on. Contract that I signed indicated that the company would need to provide 30 days notice before increasing rent. Never received notice. Company retroactively credited my account for their questionable behavior.
But hey the rent still went up $50 after three months! So, if you like steep price increases after investing a lot of time moving into a self storage unit, then look no further than here!

Despite the fact that when I signed up they told me price was l was locked in at $167 for a 10'x15'... It has steadily gone up since last year w no warning to NOW in June I'll be paying $209! I don't have insurance like they told me I would there, incl in the price. The unit door is janky and bent, told them 2x about it, no fix. I have injuries, can't open, so there is sits. At first the hours were until SIX PM! Now they're till 9... THAT better not change. I would LOVE to recommend this page but I can't. Last time I stored w them, they charged my twice and I had to get all my stuff out and BACK into my old apt before they did anything else.

This rent raise is nothing new, I supposed in 15yrs they'd tightened up, but no. If you can, find another company. :/
This facility does not answer their phones, and they are very unethical. We have been customers there for almost a year and they have jacked the prices up twice. There are much better - and much cleaner - nearby storage facilities.
I thought this facility was great, but they changed my monthly payment from $220 to $304. I called them about it and selected the option to speak with my property manager. A woman answered and after I explained the problem, she said “I’ve never seen this before, and I have no idea why this happened. Usually, we do half-off promotions, and then the monthly payment goes back to what we originally charge.” I told her I had been there for at least 8 or 9 months. She then said that this did not seem to be the issue because those promotions are usually only for the first month. She said again, “I’ve never seen this before. I’ll make sure someone reaches out to you.”
Well, nobody has reached out to me, and the payment is still showing that I owe $304. Nobody ever explained what the payment increase was for. I have never had a late payment or any problems with this facility, but I will say it is almost impossible to get in contact with someone, especially when you need to speak with them about a payment that should not be there.
There are other places that are much cheaper for the same-sized units, located in much better areas, and have much better communication. At other facilities, you can usually get an answer to your problem much quicker instead of being left waiting with no explanation. If you want a facility that is reliable, communicates well, and has fair prices, I would look elsewhere.

Her professionalism and willingness to answer all my questions made what could have been a stressful experience feel easy and straightforward. I went there and I was lost. I didnt know where I was going or what storage I had. But I am very thankful for the workers there. Mrs. Shirley was very kind and very helpful! I dont know what i would've done without her!
My storage unit (#A124) at this location was broken into, and I was never properly informed. I was told the door had only been “tampered with,” and reassured multiple times over the phone that the unit was secure and the lock unchanged. In reality, the unit had been found wide open and clearly gone through.
Because of this misinformation, I didn’t check my unit for over two months (I was traveling). When I finally returned (March 26), I discovered the damage and loss. By then, it was too late to act—police confirmed there was no chance of recovering anything given the delay. My belongings were also exposed to humidity for months, causing additional damage that could have been avoided if I had simply been told the truth.
To make things worse, a lock was placed on the unit after the break-in without my knowledge or consent. Staff could not explain where it came from and even suggested it might be mine, which is simply not true. This raises serious concerns about how this situation was handled internally.
When I spoke with the on-site manager, Shirley, I was told that something like this had not happened in seven years—yet a quick look at reviews suggests otherwise. No immediate police report was filed by staff, no meaningful investigation appears to have taken place, and when I asked for answers, the response was defensive and unhelpful.
Even more concerning, we identified that there is a person apparently living inside one of the storage units on the property. This is clearly against company policy and raises major concerns about the lack of security and oversight at this facility. It is hard to trust a business with your belongings when basic rules are not being enforced.
Overall, this experience reflects a complete failure in communication, security, and accountability. For a large national company, this level of negligence and lack of professionalism is unacceptable. I would strongly caution anyone considering storing their belongings here.
These guys are awesome!! The previous management was horrible. The new team is amazing!! They are so on top of everything. They take care of problems before they happen. They go way out of their way to make sure I'm getting the best service and lowest rates. Let's face it, I've never expected much from the staff at a storage unit. These guys really look out for their facility, security and keeping my possessions safe.

Unaffordable. Rent has gone up like 3x for me in less than 1 year. (it does mention that I guess in the fine print) but it's just crazy! Especially if you don't have after hours access. Your better off going to life storage at least you can go after 5pm.
After having a bad experience, customer service was kind and professional and has offered compensation to cover any issue.

Pleasantly surprised with the customer service, mainly Justin.. They addressed my concerns almost immediately as to ensure my rental experience would be a positive one. The only thing I might suggest is making sure the hours that you can gain entrance work for you as this location tends to close earlier than other ones. Also, it is nice that they will provide a lock for you as well.
Robin is amazing! When we decided to reduce our unit from 10x20 I went on line and reserved a 10x10. Immediately we were contacted by Robin to complete our new contract. She called and followed up with a text with what exactly we needed to do. When we got there the next day she was there to greet us and then checked on us as we moved our stuff. She took care of closing out our old unit immediately and then helped us leave (because the gate wouldn’t open since our new contract negated the code). We’ve been using this location for the past 5 years and have been happy with their customer service. Thanks again Robin for your excellent help!!!

So weird. I called all day, multiple times and no answer. I left a message. Someone from some other public storage called me back. I said I'd just go there and try to get help. He said, he'd call them and let them know in Burien. I show up and there's and extremely steep hill. No parking for customers. I park on the side of the building, walk up to the door an no one is present. I give up. This place doesn't seem open for business. Really frustrating.

It's located on a hill and there is no parking. It was a little bit challenging to drive in, but it was the cheapest storage facility I could find. It worked fine.
The place has ample storage units, is well maintained and orderly. Very busy on a Sunday afternoon but has funky hours - and the layout is such that if you use a U haul sized truck, it can block ones ability to leave causing people to back up to find another way out.
The leady the one she worked on Thursday 10/26/2023 She did everything she could to solve my problem and finally solved it. She is above and beyond.

If I could leave 0 stars to put a review I would. Our unit was broken into a year ago and then as we went to move our stuff out of the unit my husband notice that ALLL of our belongings were damaged. Rats gotten into our unit that was inside and destroyed everything! We now have to get all new belongings for oyr new place, nothing was salvageable! We got a 3 pictures that was it! After paying high rental fees and insurance we were only offered $250 with a $100 deductible. None of our stuff was saved. What's the use of paying insurance if that's all you'll get back? Beware of rats at this location.
Not sure if I’m going to book storage unit yet just getting an idea but Jackie was very polite and informative. She showed me a unit and have me reserved to a date I chose. There was a special discount and it is locked in a few days out to give me time to get organized and see if it is needed. Thank you so much!!!

The 10*10*10 storage unit fit pretty much everything we had in a 2 bd apartment while we waited to move. They also saved me when I did not put the lock back on properly, so they monitor the premesis well. Also, S/O to Katie who is an awesome manager at this location and was always ready to help me out!
Poor customer service. Made 3 trips diffrent days to pay my storage unit and nobody was in the office,every trip I waited over 30 min in my car to see if someone would show up without luck, a few days later they call saying I was late on my payment I told them I had gone 3 times and couldn't find anyone to pay but I could pay over the phone if they wanted to
Well they don't take phone payments and it took me 2 more trips to finally find the office open.

I dont expect a lot from a storage facility that has been running or longer than many grandparents have lived, but their “open” hours to access storage are atrocious! I clearly didn’t realize that their 9-5 office hours are also the hours you have to access your storage unit. Seriously, does nobody else need to access units after work on weekdays sometimes? Or god forbid you maybe need to spend an entire day moving in/out… I’ve showed up 30min early to staff present, but gates non functional and 5min late.
Just make the access hours like 8 to 9 or 8 to 8. it’s automated, nobody needs to be here!
I loved this place the workers are very helpful and very respectful I was very confused and now I’m not confused anymore they’ve helped me so much and I love this and it really helps with things that u want to keep in storage my house is now very clean thank goodness I found this

It's one of the larger storage places I've seen. They have a good amount of storage units. Staff is pretty chill. Units seem to be well kept. The main entrance is a little tricky if you're in a large vehicle but other than that, no complaints.
