The Fairfax Draper Dr location has a great setup with automatic doors and plenty of carts, although the elevator is slow. The agent at the desk was proficient and knowledgeable. I liked the swing door option as opposed to the roll up. The starting price for a 5'x10' is the best I found in the area, although I've heard rates go up fast at the 6 and 12 month marks.
I’ve been here for a number of years now and it definitely isn’t the closest one to my house, but it’s clean. I don’t see any type of rodent or pest infestations and it’s pretty easy going in and out.

Almost a year after the day I had help from Kaylea (see my review copied below), I had the opportunity to meet Errol, the new manager, and his assistant Reese. Both were very patient answering all my questions and helping me get the larger unit I needed. I am sure they answer the same questions for almost every customer, but both were professional and diplomatic in providing service and showing care about how I could meet my storage needs.
I hope the company is able to offer promotions or at least bonuses when managers do such a wonderful job. Thank you Errol and Reese!

What wonderful service I received yesterday at the Public Storage locarion at Draper Avenue in Fairfax, VA (#27189)! Kaylea was very professional and courteous in listening to what I needed and not only helped me meet my storage requirements, but also saved me time moving. She even opened the doors to let me in a minute or two before the scheduled opening time!
I also have to mention that Jackie, the regular manager, is ALWAYS professional and courteous as well. The property is clean and nicely maintained, too.
Their bosses should give them both a promotion/raise AND a bonus!
Thanks again for the great service, and thanks for helping me start 2023 on the right foot.

Very good experience here had a couple of questions and I tend to be tedious and time-consuming but I like to get all of my information and the associate Kaylea definitely helped put my worries to rest and helps me in the process of starting to get my own unit! Very good staff!!

This primary facility is well managed; clean and very safe as far as the units being well maintained! Haley, one of the 'senior managers' is compassionate, caring and will go the "out of her way" to assist and help her customers! Kaylea is amazing!! I had booked and moved into my storage unit on the same day. I was locking up with the lock PS provides, and the key broke inside of it 😑 I asked Kaylea for some help but unfortunately she couldn't break the lock. She told me that the lock cutter only comes once a month and she had already come that morning! Kaylea said she'd try to get her district manager in sooner to cut the lock off for me so I could access my stuff, but it was a bummer to not know when that could be. Not even 5 minutes after I left though, Kaylea calls to tell me she reached out to her trainer and figured out how to get the lock off! I was overjoyed, and so thankful she thought of another solution to get me back into my unit! She really saved the day 😊😊❤️

This has been the best storage experience I’ve had. Jackie was extremely helpful getting the unit and access set up for my business, and the facilities are excellent. Plenty of large carts, automatic doors, good lighting, and easy open storage doors. Gate remains closed (unlike some competitors’) and access is easy. Can’t imagine anything they could do better.
