Melinda helped me at the Hampton, VA location and she was excellent! Very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. I came in near closing time and there were no units available in the size I needed at her location. She set me up with a unit in Chesapeake and gave me all the info I needed. Excellent experience at the Public Storage facility at 3101 Bromay St in Chesapeake. The manager, Tina, is one of the most helpful persons I have ever had the pleasure to meet. Tina took the time to ensure I had exactly what I required to meet my storage needs. Access is through a gate that requires a code for entry and exit which is an extra security feature. After several trips to the storage complex, I have always found it to be clean and well maintained.
If I had to make a recommendation concerning the Public Storage Organization, it would be to hire more people like Tina.

Update 5/7/24: if you bring your own lock and told that corporate will give you a refund just know that apparently it take 6-8 weeks or more for the check to come in the mail. I have been told different things from corporate from Public Storage doesn’t issue checks to it take 2 months. I have called corporate twice where one person said he would call me back but never did, my mom has even helped me because the frustration has been so ridiculous. I even filled out a survey that said about this problem and added I want to be called and haven’t. Just a heads up.
Update 7/2/24: my refund check came in 6/14/24. It was mailed out in June too (so it took them a month to get the actual check in the mail. More than a month to be mailed. I fixed my rating to 4 stars due to Tina has been a good person in helping me in all of this.
