Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 1829 W 3500 South Street, West Valley City, UT

I'm always happy when I store my belongings at a Public Storage. But I'm even MORE impressed & extremely satisfied with the experience I've had so far at 1829 W 3500 S in West Valley. Shaylee is amazing! She has great customer service, a wonderful personality, very attentive, knowledgeable, & maintains a clean facility. She & public storage were the 1st face l saw when moving back to Utah & it made my moving experience off to a phenomenal start! THANK YOU, I'd give 10 stars if it allowed! 😁

She went above and beyond to ensure that all of our interactions were clear and effective. Her understanding and accommodation of my needs made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. Just want to let upper management at PS know, if they don’t already know, that I hope they take care and appreciate their Customer Service Reps. Because Shaylee is amazing! Every business should have a Shaylee! She’s always in a great mood, she’s nice, friendly and just overall gives great Customer Service. She’s get the job done and she’s out in the units making sure everything is well cared for. She’s beyond a 5 star and beyond a 10/10! :)

I was not happy. I went to pay on my storage and 3 storages that I went to. They say they were open to pay and they were closed. You can get In-N-Out of the storages, but you couldn't pay because no one was there the fourth place I went. She was there. I cannot remember her name, but she was very nice. And I could pay my bill and talk to her about some issues I had.

As someone who worked within the company and not only knows the property manager personally as well as professionally I knew right where I would store my things when I moved out of the area. Shaylee not only keeps the property clean of trash but is truly the epitome of customer service from the beginning of your stay to the end. I know my things are in good hands there in Utah….thanks again Shaylee for all you do 🧡 One year update: the plan wasn’t to have my stuff in storage for this long but due to how amazing my experience has been and how safe I feel with my things here Im in no rush to pull my items out. Shaylee is still the best and updates me with any and all updates about my account. Seriously such a rockstar forever grateful for such a great property and manager!! ✨

This is the best run storage place I've ever used. The manager is so friendly and on top of stuff and just great. I've had so many bad experiences elsewhere and this place just absolutely nails it.

Great location for me. I own my own business and frequently need to drop off or pick up tools/materials. And Nura, the counter person that helped me today is wonderful! She was very helpful, friendly, and courteous. However, I’m frustrated with the pricing. When I opened the account, my unit was $135. This was a special new renter price for the first month. It went up to $150 as expected. But in the last year the price has increased to $230. And there have been more than a few times that I couldn’t access my unit due to gate problems. This actually caused me to lose money when I couldn’t get the tools I needed for a job. I had also rented a smaller unit that had been broken into and things stolen. There was no compensation for any of those problems from the management. Not even recognition that any problems had occurred. So.... rent at your own risk! Great people working the counter- not so great people making no attempt to keep a long term customer happy. WELL..... sometimes the squeaky wheel does get the grease! Since my last contact with the staff at this location, the manager has actually agreed to a reduction in my monthly rent! I’m surprised and pleased. Most of the credit goes to Nura, the counter person who was so helpful to me. I wouldn’t have known this was an option without her. Thank you Nura! You’ve definitely improved my attitude and helped keep me as a customer. I hope the management recognizes your commitment to customer service and satisfaction. Thank you again! Time to update: The management has raised the rent again and again! The charge for a late payment is ridiculous. Just about $60. And the rent has gone up to over $300! It started at $150. So… I ended up moving to a different storage facility where the rent is reasonable and the facility is nicer with more security. I do not recommend this place to anyone, and that’s coming from several years of experience with this establishment. Final opinion- not worth it!

10/10 experience with this public storage facility. Shaylee and Lisa were so helpful and just plain ol friendly every time I was there. Thanks to them both for all their help! The unit was easy, clean, accessible, safe, and there was plenty of parking.
