I rented a 10x15 unit for 4 months while I looked for a new place to live. I had a great experience storing here.
The facility is pretty clean, and it is climate-controlled so you get out of the heat while you're working in it. It felt secure and was well-lit. Cameras are all over the property feeding back to the main office. There are bathrooms on the premises. Interestingly, the storage units are underground. The elevator floors can be a little confusing because they're not in an intuitive order, but I figured it out. Jamie and Misty were always helpful during business hours.
The one drawback is that there aren't enough carts. You might have two in Building B, and if one person moving in uses both, that means no one else gets a cart, which is a problem on the weekends when lots of people are moving in and out. A smaller thing is that when you pull in, the curb is kind of steep so for a little sedan, you have to go slow getting up onto the property.
In terms of price, I know that sometimes rent goes up after a few months with storage facilities; I don't know if that's the case here because I was only there for 4 months. I got a month free and paid $80/mo for the next 3 months. When I asked about frequency of rent increases, I was told that in that scenario I can reach out to see what they can do. I didn't have to do that, so I'm not sure what the outcome was.
The app is really convenient. You can open the gates and doors using Bluetooth so you don't have to type in a code or search for a remote. The electronic security system means that everyone going in and out is documented, so you can feel good about the lack of anonymity in that regard if you are worried about theft.
I opted out of the insurance. I think the insurance is too expensive, and often it is covered under homeowner's and renter's insurance anyway.
I would rent a storage unit here again for sure.

Jamie was very helpful and knowledgeable about Public Storage. I went in looking for a 10x20 and you didn't have anything except a 10x25 so I took it. And am I ever thankful I did because the unit is full to the door and packed solidly. The unit and the whole facility was very clean. The restrooms were a bit messy but I guess that is to be expected. I am happy I chose Public Storage and would highly recommend them.
I love this Midvale location. They are super friendly, very helpful, and very professional. I lost my key and they got my lock cut off right away, free of charge! The manager is extremely helpful and very cheerful.
My only complaint is the climate control. It is still extremely hot inside the building.

I only needed storage for a month, but within that month I felt that things were clean, safe, and well taken care of. If I need storage again I will consider this location.
Started looking for storage units and Jaime was the first person I spoke with. She was incredibly helpful and very knowledgeable. Showed me around the building and unit available in her location. She tried helping me get the best deal possible. She even offered to show me units at a different location if it meant helping me get what I was looking for. Checked out a few other places but in the end I came back to Jamie because of her excellent customer service, cleanliness of the units, and price.
Great place for storage!
Everything was really great! Searching for and booking a unit online was very quick and easy. The facility was clean and nicely lit and the instructions were very easy to understand and follow. The contactless entry and exit through the app was a very nice addition too.
My only complaint would be to have at least one other unloading cart available at this location.
I happened to run in to Jamie, the Property Manager at the Midvale location yesterday, and she took the time to ask me if my storage needs were going good. I expressed one concern to her and she promised to look in to it when she got back to the office. Within 2 hours she had addressed the issue satisfactorily. I also have a unit in Texas with Public storage for the past three years and they have never taken the time or care like Jamie did. Thank Jamie for caring about your loyal customers, it speaks volumes for you as a human and a Property Manager!

Seriously amazing storage unit experience! Very clean, safe, and smells good. I previously rented storage units in SLC and had the worst experience/ always felt in danger going to the unit without someone / it smelled horrible and I’m pretty sure people were living there. It made me very hesitant to rent a storage unit again but this one was amazing! Entirely opposite experience and everyone is so friendly and nice and happy to help with any questions too. As someone who’s moved a crazy amount of times and is horrible at lining up the ending of one place / move in date of the next - I would most highly recommend this storage unit! Even if it’s a little drive, it’s worth it! :)

I’ve had experience with several storage companies in the past, and Public Storage has been the best.
Tammi helped me get exactly what I needed, and was responsive and accommodating. I like that there’s real people you can speak to on site or on the phone. They also don’t seem to increase rates as often or as severely as other companies which tend to pull the rug out by doubling rates after a few months.

Sherri talk's to you nice in front of you but talks an judge you and does bad things as worker that will do anything to make herself look good and important.. no matter what she's a person that shouldn't work there, she's all bad.. straight up

Sherri the manager is friendly, knowledgeable & accommodating. When I called 801 # listed it directed me to a customer service representative whom isn't located on the property. Very nice & polite, however NOT the personal touch, P.S. use to let you speak directly to property manager.

Stopped in to look for a space and met Sherri! Talk about a great first impression. Sherri is so friendly and professional. A real treat to work with. Needless to say, I am renting at that location for 2 reasons. 1. They have exactly what I need. 2. Sherri. I was space shopping all morning and didn’t have anywhere near the interaction I did with. Sherri. Done and done.

So I have been struggling financially as most Americans are these days. I called public storage in midvale Utah and spoke with the property manager Sherri and explained my situation and she was on point with all the info I needed to handle my situation. So after following her careful instructions. The next morning I noticed we had a situation. So i called sherri and left a message. After she opened the store she called me right away. She informed it was a system error and she knew exactly what was happening and assured me it was an easy fix and she would call me back to let me know everything was fixed. Both times I talked to Sherri there was not much wait time at all in fact the first time was within 5 minutes the next as you read was immediately after opening the store. I am very greatful for Sherri. She really cares about her customers and her facility. I recommend that if you need a unit this is the place to go. The experience for me was absolutely amazing. It's the only storage I'll use from here on out.
Sherri is the best most helpful person I have ever met at a storage facility. Wow, cheerful personality, walked me to my unit twice. I might go there just to hang out with her 😉 place is nice, clean, climate controlled and being upgraded even more.
