She runs a professional storage service - she ensures vagrants and over-night stays are immediately notified of the rules & policies and GETS them OUT. Do Not rent from this location!!! Kim is very fake… She starts out nice to get the business, but once you have been there was a while, she shows NO interest or concern to help any more and she is also Very Rude and “ Short Temper “. She has been there for sooooo long that she thinks she owns the place! Many believe she should be fired and replace ! It’s time!!! Kim must Go! The facility has it problems… Mainly because it is run by Kim … This location need a new attitude and fresh face with a new manger to service the customers effectively, throughout the lease agreement. People pay good money.

Awful, Awful, Absolutely Awful, I’m so disappointed in this location, my husband and I have reached out to management several times to let them know that someone has tampered with or tried to break into our storage and we have not been able to get into our storage. Management said give them 24 to 48 hours and they will get back with us to resolve the issue. We haven’t heard back from them, It’s going on two Weeks, We Faithfully pay our Storage bill on time Every Month, but we can’t get Good Customer Service?

Adam did a gr8 job setting us up with 3 units. Polite. Helpful. Knowledgeable about all the security features.

I was told, as were others that day, that they do not have enough dollies available for use, that the office is not open regularly during business hours, and Tara (district mgr) was no help whatsoever. She did not even bother to go look at any of the entrances for a dolly. They overcharge and underdeliver, and they are rude and condescending.

Staff are not available when needed, nor are dollies, which are supposed to be, and they have doubled my rental rate since Jan 2019. And despite claims of "climate controlled", it was well over 80 degrees in there the last time I was there...probably closer to 85.

Kimberly was very helpful and made the sign up process super easy. The space is very clean and well lit.

We have had the best experience at this location thus far, and we have Kim to thank for! She has always been so helpful and truly cares about her customers. Consistency is key and Kim is killing it! Great follow ups with all inquiries and very personable. I know I will be a long time customer here. Thank you Kim!

*edit: 5 years later and my opinion has not changed - my stuff was in excellent condition the facility is still super clean and the staff is amazing. I would use this location in the future if I ever need it again! The facility was very clean and Courtney did a great job getting us set up. She was professional, efficient, and pleasant to work with.

Pros: -great app to open gate, doors, & elevator—especially for the Texas summer! -elevators have been fixed for a few months now -They bought ~4+ new large carts (for two of the side entrances I use): those really make moving in/out a LOT quicker, and having so many helps others are there -clean, climate controlled, several options of sizes -easy access a block off I-75/North Central Expressway -Pay for their $25 lock: it’s more secure than the cheap 2 for $20 ones I got at W-mart Cons: -I don’t recommend using the south entrance from Ave K (the one right by the side gate): the concrete ramps up & then down, threatening to scrap your underbody. Use either of the two entrances to the front parking lot just north of it and just drive to the gate. (That also gives you safe time to pull your phone out, start the app, and be ready to open the gate when you get to it.). (Just watch for walkers from the retirement home next door: they like to walk in building’s shade in the morning.) -Hope he elevators don’t go out again (maybe just pandemic supply chain delays?) -Be a good tenant and out the carts back in the inside entrances when you’re done with them, please?

Kim was very helpful in moving my unit to a smaller unit. Saved about 50% on all that extra space I wasn't using, and they can rent out my old unit for 20% more than I was paying for it haha. Thank you for your help Kim!

This location has THE BEST people. Kim, the manager, and her staff are extremely professional and thoughtful. I have a long list of things she has done to help The Campus of Care Global Healthcare Corporation. But yesterday, Kim helped us tremendously. We left a pole with wheels outside our storage unit and she thought quickly. Instead of tossing it out, she held it in the office thinking that it belonged to us. She knows her clients and we appreciate that. Our research institute supports women and children, and the units are used to house diapers, wipes, formula, sanitary products and medical supplies. In this pandemic our work has proven to be most necessary. Kim saved us from having to order a new leg for the steel shelves. Thanks Kim for a job well done.

I used this facility for 7 years. The staff was always friendly, helpful and professional. I remember receiving a personal call making sure everything was okay with my unit. One year later, I return to find the manager, Kim giving the same wonderful service.

Opened a storage building this past Sunday. Latasha was great signed me up fast. She explained everything to me and I got in on a great rate. She also let me run home and grab my own lock instead of buying one from her. She showed me a few units and it was fast and she had great customer service. The whole staff was great at this location. I have one note and its for the DM of the property. I think you should be able to price match the locks you have to have. You can get them cheaper other places I think if you priced matched it would allow you to buy everything at one place. Update They have increased the rent recently. I think my storage building rent increased 20 dollars a month. I pay almost 100 dollars up from 76.

I want to give a big shout out to Mrs.Kim!! Every time I come to my storage she is always so nice, friendly and very helpful. The entire staff are so pleasant and they always greet me with a welcoming smile. I'm glad I chose this Public Storage.

Much lower price! Needs lighting in 10x20's. I originally thought this PS location went up $170/mo. My mistake. The PS on Audelia went up $170/mo. We moved out of that new shocking price increase. People are getting pushed around lately by rude rent gouging. Not the "America" we want. Disrespectful. Bring your own 4-wheel cart, & your own 2-wheel hand truck. These are often stolen from PS, so...2200 K Ave is nice.

Someone stole all of the dollies that public storage provides for moving. They have not replaced it and is extremely inconvenient. I'm paying way too much for storage space that has no way to move.

I just moved out of PS after finding a home, but must give a shout out to anyone looking for a professional, friendly, and efficient experience. Kimberly took care of me from the start and saw me off at the end. Showing people you care matters. Thanks for showing me that some companies still "get it.

My day begin with an eviction so the day was going by fast at all... However I was very happy to get my things in storage....the process was very fast and simple with Kim help... Great Customer service.

Great staff. Clean facilities. Good location. Rents are pricey; but, with climate control, pest control and quality units, it's worth the extra pennies. The one MAJOR negative is they don't have hand trucks. They NEVER have carts available; NEVER!!! Bring your own flat bed hand truck.

I have used multiple Public Storage facilities and never had any issue. I use this one and there are NEVER any carts to move stuff, doesnt matter what time, business hours or not, any day of the week- NEVER any carts. I'm paying monthly and should have access to my stuff and a cart to move things in and out at all times! Take your money and stuff somewhere else.

All went well , in checking, pleasant staff. Quit a large set up, very clean and secure. Mine is on 3rd floor , quite a long walk for my age, but a good price. I forgot to ask about carts where I can get them and I hope that its not and extra cost. Otherwise I will not be able move in and out.

I would not recommend anyone getting into any relationship with this management. Story seemed to change over time, over what the rules were, in a 72 hour period. She told me one thing but would tell my father a different thing, and create conflict.

Five and a half years ago, after the passing of my mother; I was forced to rent a storage unit for our possessions. I chose Public Storage because my mother had used its services in the past. Luckily I landed at the facility managed by Kim, whose care, compassion, and concern made the process easy and bearable. That was just a small part of her talents that is attributed to her professionalism she has shown me throughout the years. And as I weigh through my mother's possession five and a half years later, those same traits and more are still are still exhibited by Kim and Alana. My grandmother was dying so my family and I moved her belongings from a large unit to a smaller one. Opened the new one and closed the old one same day. I let the reps know what the situation was. I waited patiently for the refund for prorated rent on the large unit, which I was told I would get. Nothing. When I called, I was told by the rep and manager that it wasn't put in their system as a transfer so I forfeit the whole month's rent, over $200. I told them I told the staff what we were doing so it's their staff's fault for not putting it in as a transfer. Around and around and they refused to give me my money back. I got the district manager's number and left a msg. No return call. I will be moving out and never coming back. They are playing semantics and stealing money. I will tell all friends and family to steer clear. Also, some boxes had water damage from a crack in the back wall of the unit. The crack and surrounding wall were wet. So don't expect your belongings to be safe from water damage in this indoor facility.

Overall it was good. The only thing is if you borrow a cart from them the easiest way to return is to walk it back, depending on the weather it maybe a hassle. The staff was helpful and easy to work with.

Happy with location, price, and service. The process of reserving and signing was efficient and quick. Customer service means a great deal to me - Kim and Briana are happy, pleasant, and very helpful during the entire time from answering questions thru the entire signup process. Location is clean, good condition, and great access to main roads.

I looked at this location online and I thought it had a great price. So I booked it. I drove 40 minutes to go get it setup and meet with the employees for a brief tour. They show me the unit I agree and we start filling out the paperwork, we get almost to the end when they tell me I need to have insurance and now the great price is not such a great price. No mention of this requirement when I set up the rental online. No mention of it in my paperwork. No mention of it when they called to get me into the unit.

Front office staff was great with helping me on my move in. Definitely recommend this location. Taiesha got me all set up & showed me around and Misty helped with some additional questions. Both were fantastic and friendly!

All the other public storage customer service representatives are either rude or don’t want to answer any questions that should be answered.My family have been going to this one for years no problems. Sketchy. Their rates change according to who knows what or why. An 80 dollar unit quickly became a 120 dollar unit. Asked for a more affordable unit. They said they would call when one was available. No call. I've been late on payment a few times just because I forgot. My bad. But, still, the late fee is outrageous. Wish I didn't need to use them. But, they know I do and they take full advantage.

This was my first time moving out of state. I am a teacher and there was no way I could fill all of my classroom items inside of my townhouse so I was able to call Public Storage and get a reservation immediately. When I got there I was greeted and Joannel was so helpful. He walked me through all of the steps and showed me multiple storage units. He was very polite and offered much needed help. He even welcomed me to Texas! Great experience and I would totally recommend this place to anyone in the Plano area. Awesome job Joannel!!

Raised rent without much notice. Temperature is too hot. Was already paying too much for heat. Trying to contact mgmt but they won't call back.

Great experience. Needed it for all of our belongings as we were between homes. Mover originally said we needed a 10x20 then it didn’t all fit... Kim and her team immediately got us another unit close by. Easy access for a semi if your movers use one. Move out was nice and easy. Would highly recommend.

Horrible service. I looked online before going in. Was then harassed for days till I could get in to see the unit. The next day i was accused of sleeping in the unit and threatened to be evicted. There is video proof that we didn't. Also it's a 5x5 and we are both nearly 6ft tall. That wouldn't work anyway!! Told bu the manager we weren't allowed to use their public restroom. Never fully moved our items in because I was always afraid we'd be locked out!! Got glared at everytime we were there. Wrist experience ever. Will not give money to public storage again!!!

Exceptionally clean, looks like a brand new facility but I know it's been here for several years. Office staff is great. Shelby quickly took care of me and explained all the contract details. My 10x10 climate controlled locker is on the first floor and the first month is just $1. Can't beat that deal!
