Bought an auctioned unit here. Called AND came here yesterday and there was nobody here. Left a message but no response from them. Today got in contact with an associate, not the manager to set up an appointment. Got here and things went ok. Secured my locker then had to leave for an hour. When I got back had to wait 45 and many phone calls later got the associate to let me up the elevator. Will not give gate or elevator code. Now they're dealing with customers so I'm stuck waiting... again.

When I first moved in I spoke with Danielle and she was amazing and helpful. I work nights and planned to go in today to make a payment, but was first greeted by a horrible phone call from Jay. I simply wanted an explanation of charges and was met with the most rude, condescending customer service ever. Once she was was told that she was being rude instead of apologizing for any miscommunication, she proceeded to start calling me hunny and sweety to which she only did more after I stated it was rude. She STILL hasn't explained the billing so that I can make payment. Please never rent here!! They will bait you in with a nice person and switch on you in a heartbeat. Corporate and Twitter will hear about this since she refuses to give her name or manager's info when I have spoken to him before anout their broken gate and elevator.

The most unprofessional place I have ever witnessed. First day moving in my code didn't work they gave me three more also didn't work then they gave me a temporary one that expired as soon as I came back with more things to put in storage, which coincidentally was also right when the office closed(About 6pm). I ran into the office managers boyfriend I guess who had been obviously smoking weed upstairs with his two little kids, he told me the manager wasn't there and he uses her key to get around but for some reason he said her job would be at jeopardy if he lets me in which didn't make sense because he didn't work there or have a storage unit but was using the managers key to get around. After trying to get in for almost two hours calling corporate I had to take an entire load of things and put them back. I hope Public Storage can hire some more responsible people this was ridiculous.

I give a pleasing and satisfying 4- star rating to this location as I’ve been using this self-storage location for almost a year now. Danielle has pulled through to answer any and all questions and concerns as well as handling any issues/concerns during the leasing terms while using their self/storage. Parking may be the slightest inconvenience at times due to being quite limited with restricted accessibility, however it can be done. Having a unit on the second floor requires elevator access. I’ll definitely keep using this location and would recommend it to others as I have not had any negative experience this far while being there. Don’t forget to ask for Danielle and show her some love!!

I contacted our Public Storage facility at Mangum regarding a rate concern. I spoke to the manager, Danielle. She took the time to patiently listen to all I had to say, and then she offered a suggestion about what she could do and said she would take care of it. And that's exactly what she did! She had told me that either she or someone else would get back to me, and sure enough, she called me back the next day and told me the issue had been handled --- and to my satisfaction. On top of it all, Danielle was SO nice. In this day and age when in most places customer service seems an outdated notion, it's wonderful to experience first-rate customer service, and to see a hands-on manager who actually cares. Thank you, Danielle! I appreciate you! It's not just because you took care of my problem, but because of the way you went about it. Thanks again!

The guy in California who answered the phone did not know anything and was incorrect about everything. I tried to make a reservation at the place that I currently have and confirmed with him 3 times and he said yes it was the same place then I asked him if the storage unit was close to my original and he said yes it's almost next door. I also told him I needed climate control and he did not reserve me a climate control location, the location was wrong and I've never had a unit at that location. Basically he also told me that I would get the 1st month for a dollar which was also a lie. When I transferred the reservation the lady who helped me was outstanding. Be careful when you call to make your reservation because the experience I had, the guy was not only wrong about everything he lied about everything.

My stuff was stolen and several units were broken into. There were no cameras to detect who did it. The insurance didn't help me.

Taquilla was awesome as always. Our second time using storage with PS and dealing with Taquilla and every went smoothly and perfect. Her customer service is out standing

I arrived at 5:49 P.M. This location closes at 6 P.M. but I was turned away and told that there's a rule that they don't rent out units after 5:30 P.M. I have not been successful in finding this "rule" on Public Storage's website. The lady there was rude and had her child with her behind the desk. I would not recommend this location.

Taquilla was super helpful, patient, and understanding. The AC in my unit was broken for the at least a month and every time I called it was never fixed while I was there. But Taquilla allowed me to transfer to another unit (although the unit is slightly smaller than my old one) and keep my same rate and also allowed me to have 2 days to move my things. I'm really grateful for her understanding and flexibility cause there was no way I could move all my things in one day alone. The other person that I called at this location wasn't really helpful so I'm glad Taquilla was the one who ended up taking care of my transfer. Thank you!

My unit was broken into and was not notified. I didn’t know anything about it until I showed up to retrieve some items Police were never notified about it. Also I was told that there were several units broken into that night. According to the details provided to me , it would have been almost impossible to remove the items the way it was explained to me. Also according to management it was captured on camera????? According to management they broke my lock to check and see if any items were missing, and replaced it with one of theirs. Very suspicious of the accounts Alvaro Villarreal

Public storage bought my old storage on Maxey Rd. I am not happy with their service or customer service. I called the location on Magnum, and there was a very knowledge woman named Taquilla, who was very friendly and attentive to my questions and needs. I would recommend this location just for the customer service. Can she move locations to the Maxey office. I think I might stay if she moves over here. She was awesome, great customer service, she turned a bad situation good again.

I have been using this storage facility for the last 5 years and have been mostly satisfied with it. The young lady who works there named tequila is always very friendly and outgoing and has always worked to solve any issue I may have had. She is what I call "a keeper". The only issue I have is that I believe the property itself could use some updating.

I went to the location on Mangum and the experience was great! I'm moving soon so I visited to inquire on the size unit I would need as well as the cost. Mechi was very helpful and friendly. I will definitely be renting soon!

5 Stars for Taquilla who was very helpful and efficient. She has a great attitude and made me feel special. I would highly recommend her service and professional demeanor. The facility on the other had is very dated and is in need of repairs and/or updates - I would give it 2 stars, as it is not the worst I have seen, but it certainly does not meet the expected standards your company promotes. It will serve my purposes as it is for a short time and located close to my residence. I would have changed locations to a newer facility if not for the professional and helpful manner of Tequilla. She truly is an asset to your company. I was also referred to this location by Mandy at the 6400 W Little York Rd location, due to the confusion of the reservation set-up on the website. She too was helpful and professional in her demeanor and attitude. I comment both these nice ladies for their timely and helpful response to my needs.

Store is well kept and has some 24 hours units. Very clean.

They steal from your unit!!! The storage unit flooded during Harvey. After I went and cleaned out my unit and got rid of what was ruined I organized it very nice. Easy to get in and out of my unit. I went back a few days later to get something and my key didn't work. The company had it re-keyed. Upon entering my unit I noticed several items missing. They had been stolen by the company in charge of spraying the unit for rust. Also my unit was upside down. Everything was just piled in the middle. Several of my things were scratched. They even gave me photos of my unit before they went it. It clearly shows my stuff was in my unit before they went it. How does a company steal stuff out of units and not be held responsible? Now they have the ostrich syndrome! They have buried their heads in the sand!!! STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!

We love Charlie! When my mom rented here she had all the answers for all our questions. I really like the level of service we got. She is very professional and knowledgeable about the property and storage. She taught us how to stack our boxes how to keep our items protected thank you for your help!

Nice convenient and affordable

This has got to be one of the WORST places ever to do business. I'm trapped here because when I first got the storage years ago I was OK, but now I am crippled and can't move my stuff, and can't afford to hire help. A number of years ago I got someone to help me, but the elevator was broke! It is ALWAYS breaking down! And the rent I've paid alone would have bought 4 or 5 new elevators, so there is no excuse for them not fixing the elevator once and for all so it won't keep breaking. It is very bad for someone who can't make the stairs. They are always getting broke into, there is no security, and at the ridiculously high prices they charge there is no excuse for it. Oh, the 1.00 move in sounds nice, but then they go up on the rent every few months to where in no time you are paying outrageously ridiculous prices in no time. Not to mention the service gets worse and worse! They use to would call you if your rent was due, but now they don't so they can get their nonsensical late fees (which ought to be against the law). This is NOT the place to do business! I'm only giving them a 1 star rating because I have to in order to be able to post this.

I called in and received excellent service. When I arrived at the property Charlie was exceptional. She was extremely helpful. This has been a hassle free and wonderful experience for me.

I recently moved from San Antonio and didn't have time to visit the location personally but Charlie helped me out. She asked all the right questions and suggested what I needed. I have easy access to my unit and it is always clean inside and outside. I really am happy with my decision to have picked this location out of the choices I was given from the national phone line.

I went in to make a payment and Kendall gave me awesome customer service. She had a warming smile and was very helpful. I store at another location and she looked me right up.

Stay away from Charlie and Christopher. Charlie is a bitter old lady who lied to us about the time we had to wait to book a storage. She told us we had to wait 1 hour after the online order instead of 39 minutes. I called another store to ask about that and they confirmed it was 30 minutes and not an hour. I went in to the office after 30 minutes and she looked at the clock and said, "Eeh whatever I'll just do it now." During my visit there we had to check her twice on her attitude. Horrible!!! She kept giving herself smoke breaks while we tried to register for another storage. Terrible attitude. Michael lied to me about the amount of storages they had available. According to him, they only had 1 storage spot left, but online I saw they had tons of 5x5's and other storages available. We have gone there on more than a few occasions to put stuff in our storages and the elevator was out and the stairs were locked. Keypad didn't work.. Crazy!!! They tell you to give them a good rating on google while you wait, that's why you see so many good reviews, but the reality is a much different one altogether.

This is the first time I rented a storage unit, and she make sure I knew how easy the process was, and it was seamless. I appreciate Charlie's great attitude and customer service. We were flooded out of our home and Public Storage called us to let us know that our storage had flooded. We had to vacate the location on West Little York and Public Storage reviewed a list of locations with us that we could move our property to. We were there five years and received steady quality service. The manager, Al, was a constant and provided great service. The place is safe and free of any vermin or leaks. Al makes sure the place is kept tidy and clean.

Worst storage facility I've ever used. I've only been there 2 mos. and already Ive had my access denied twice by a "faulty" keypad and once by being locked out with a pad lock on the entrance door. The latter they stated was because of "inclement" weather that was iminent. You would think that if there was a weather situation you should be allowed to get your belongings out if need be. I contacted the local mgr to discuss having rent prorated for days that I didn't have access and was told she didn't have the authority and that I needed to speak to the district mgr. All I've been able to get from him is his voicemail which he either doesn't check or ignores. Will be moving contents out of this facility at the earliest I'm able to and will NEVER use Public Storage again as well as telling any and all of my friends to do the same.

JO'EL's Review: I came to this location to book space to assist with a move. I must say, Ashley H, deserves a raise!!!!! She was not only courteous and professional, but friendly and knowledgeable. She answered all of my questions, gave me a facility tour. Was very professional and helpful without being the typical customer service rep (i.e. pushy, snarky and more interested in making a big sale/commission than serving individual customer needs). I'd like to think she should be in Mgmt or in the very least teaching a Customer Service Course on what it is to be specific to customer needs. Above all else, I was very impressed. Whatever the amount for her services? She's definitely being underpaid. Highly recommended facility & business if all workers are as competent, capable and efficient as she seems to be.
