If i could give 0 stars, i would. ☺️ We paid a storage unit for about 2 yrs for my sister’s belongings, just for her to come back and see that some of her possessions have been stolen. The person who broke into the unit had the audacity to even leave their stuff inside as if they’re the ones paying for it. I don’t recommend this place AT ALL, it’s supposed to be somewhere you can feel at peace knowing your belongings are safe where they’re at, but unfortunately it’s not.

Not a good experience, after paying for a unit for almost two years for my daughter stuff she came back home 2 weeks ago only only to find out that some of her suitcases are missing, odd we found one of their locks inside our unit but the manager can’t or won’t explain how the lock placed itself inside our unit. They also left a bag of some else’s clothes inside the unit. Had to call the police to make a burglary report.
I didn’t know how to use the public storage app and Angie helped me understand all of it. She was so patient and kind. I recommend this facility to anyone looking to rent a storage unit

Dont bring your items here for storage. They will add all kinds of fees just so they can sell your items to auction. I've had multiple issues with this location i never could access my belongings from the beginning they were not there when they were supposed to be open. I had to sit in the parking lot waiting. Bad business beware

This location has been the best with storing my things hands down. The representative that I spoke with was not very understanding and rude but LaTyra has helped me since moving my things in and has made it easier for me to continue storing and working out of state. After I signed up and paid for the storage space, I hired a mover to move things into the space. When I got there, there was a lock on the space and I could not get in. There was no one working at the front office. And the front office door was locked during regular business hours. I kept calling the phone number on the front door and all I got was the run around. I had to wait two hours for an employee to show up and was paying my movers by the hour . I spoke with other customers outside who told me that this happens all the time....no workers present during business hours and front doors locked. This is not the way to run a business.

They increase your rate in a sneaky way. I am currently being charged $274 for a 10x15. I originally agreed to pay $190 n rent for the space. You do the math. I can’t wait to move my things out. Beware of fake five star reviews from people outside of the country. Public storage pays for good reviews.

Avoid this place. Many people have had problems but don't make the time to leave a review. Management doesn't care about your time. It's already frustrating that they close at 6, the time that most people are available to after work to visit their storage, but they also close early unannounced. I've showed up at 5:30pm before and it's already locked. They are technically violating the agreement and this should turn into a lawsuit, and likely will. Other people have gotten stuck inside because they overstayed a few minutes, and have had to have the police come let them out. According to public storage, the property manager lives on site, but here we are. Also, I've only seen 1 cart. How does this facility have so many units and one cart, which is broken. Find a different storage company. The manager at the other public storage I wanted to use, for location sake, told me that if I showed up too close to 5:30, she wouldn't be able to check me in because she does not want to stay 1 minute past 6. Again, find a different company.

By far the best customer service!! Lizz really took the time to hear me out. Went in there to ask a few questions because I need a storage for all my merchandise and I had no idea how renting a unit worked. Will be back before the end of the month and I hope she will be the one working that day!
Horrible!! My moms storage was sold or her items were stolen. She never found her storage because the receptionist never could provide us with the code to enter the building. They say my moms storage was opened and they assumed it was vacant. My mom had thousands dollars worth of stuff inside the storage. My mom realized they weren’t taking money out of her account. The receptionist and Kevin now sent my sister a move out date receipt after so many months according to them that we didn’t pay because they stopped charging us because it was “vacant.”

Not often is a a blessing as well as a privilege to find someone as professional, patient and knowledgeable. To be honest when customer service is mentioned or defined her picture as well as service should define and be the model by which everyone is trained. Five stars is good to some but in my opinion it would be doing LaTyra a major disservice. Yeah she’s that good 20 stars tops . Please give her exactly the accolades or whatever is necessary to ensure she is recognized for her impeccable performance

This is a new storage it’s only been here maybe a year or two and it’s beautiful & kept clean. The young lady that works inside I’ve asked her name soo many times & I hate I can’t remember but she’s amazing! Her personality is always welcoming & she’s just a “real person” & I’m sure gets frustrated & tired like we all do but never shows it! That girl does a good job at keeping that place tightly too! I never see trash etc like I have at other facilities I’ve used in the past. Love this storage!!

Great facility
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Based only on service I would give it -5 stars if I could. These people forced us to get the police involved! We had to wait 15 min before someone showed up at the office. They gave us our code and it worked for the first gate but not for the elevators. So we had to get the employee to use her code and take us up to the 3rd floor. Once we get all our stuff to the elevators we had to get another employee to get us back downstairs. Note: when we get off the elevator it is now 6pm, we are there parked next to three other customers. The two employees are right there and see this and SAY NOTHING. We load our stuff in a few minutes and drive off. We get to the gate assuming it just opens on the way out and of course it doesn't. Our code doesn't work so we wait for the other people to finish so we can follow them out. Oh great, no one's code works because the place goes on lockdown at 6pm. Something these two malicious dingbats failed to mention. In this time we realized there was a customer stuck in the elevator bank because there was a security gate the workers had lowered and locked. She was literally stuck behind bars in a 10ft x 10ft area(2nd pic). The other customers had 3 little kids with them. We're out in the heat and none of the company phone numbers lead to a real person that can help. We end up having to call the police to come get us out as if they don't have better things they should be responding to.

It's been very good. I've had this unit here for going on 3 years now. The only thing that annoys me is never having the dolly carts to load up stuff with. Very inconvenient....
Don’t expect them to have a cart available, to answer the phones, or to even be in the office. Not to mention, the hours are so inconvenient especially for weekend moves. Calling corporate does no good since they will just keep transferring you. This is the WORSE experience I’ve had with Public Storage, and I won’t use them again. The “Live Chat” is a virtual assistant that doesn’t understand anything you’re saying, and their corporate agents will just hang up on you if they can’t help. Very unprofessional!
I have to say this location was pretty bad. From the pain in the butt it was to get in the front gate, up the elevators, and even in the front door! It's definitely not worth the hassle. The bathrooms were gross and the staff was rude. It's your money, spend it wisely.

Management here is good with customer service which is why I'm still there. Initially, I had an issue and it's because sometimes employees forget to understand that service is the most important aspect of their job.

They would not let me out of the exit gate after hours because I couldn't relay my DRL number. The gentleman from CA even told me to park my car and just come back the next day for it. This will be my last month there. The hours were already too inconvenient! And customer service is never any help.
THE WORSE OF THE WORSE couldn’t access my unite on MOVING DAY no one is at the office ever and no one picks up the phone. Go anywhere else but here please. And I wasn’t the only one I was out there with 3 other people same move in day and no one can go anywhere. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE.

I have had a generally good experience, but don't expect a quick response if you have issues. After having issues with their auto-pay feature, I couldn't get anybody to answer my phone calls or emails for two weeks. Once I got ahold of Yvonne at the local and Kevin at the district office, they were very helpful and professional. I just wish they had enough staff for somebody to be manning the front office at most times.
Every time I come, someone is not available at the front desk to help or on the phone during open hours.
Facility is excellent, clean and new. Had an issue with the office and with the toll free help line. Changed my one star review ( due to customer service aspect) to 5 star because Kevin the Northwest Houston District manager called and rectified the issue with a simple explanation. That's all it took. A clear, concise explanation.
NEVER has carts available, never.

Ms. Yvonne is absolutely amazing. Her support and knowledge in preparation and during my state to state relocation was tip notch. Even when we ran into an issue with the moving transportation service, she stepped in and pre-arranged all that was needed at the storage facility. I could not be more grateful and would tell others over and over again to choose this location simply because of Ms. Yvonne. The owner of the site should also receive kudos given they approved Ms. Yvonne's specific request. Grateful for all that were involved.

I am a first time user of public storage. My experience at Public Storage has been a positive one. This facility is kept clean, safe and everything is secured. Ms. Yvonne, the location manager, was very professional with me as well as with other customers who stopped in while I was there. She patiently answered all of my questions and provided me with helpful moving tips as well. Because of Ms. Yvonne’s professionalism and the way she smoothly runs this facility, I highly recommend it to other future customers.
Yvonne was very quick and informative about my unit and very friendly even though this is not my storage facility I will be returning to make payments here again to receive the best service.
I’d like to start of by saying when a person goes over and beyond for you, you stop what you’re doing and give the name to the lord and give a review. Yvonne Benton is amazing. Since I’ve been in Texas I only met two people that did selfless acts, assuring there client is happy. I dropped my cell phone down the elevator shaft while moving,amoungst being sick and regular day travesties. I end up having a panic attack, Miss Yvonne prayed with me kept me aligned and had the paramedics help me out when she realized her company can only do so much. Now the paramedics went above and beyond taking my vitals and with the help of Miss Yvonne saved my phone hours later,and well beyond end of day. I felt alone in a time where I felt defeated she said GOD will continue to test my faith- stay strong . I feel as though now she is my big sister- and a Public storage Angel. Where everyone said there’s nothing they can do she Showed me what she can do. Public storage is lucky to have Miss Benton. Forever grateful 🌸
I love the Hempstead location! I would give 6 stars if it was possible. It’s very clean and a nice facility. I was most impressed and well satisfied with the service Yvonne gave me. She expedited my reservation and was very friendly and helpful! I’m so happy and feel secure for choosing this location to store my personal belongings.

I’ve been storing my things at Public Storage for the past couple yrs. Was at the one on 290 before moving to this one on Hempstead and I have no complaints!! The only reason I moved our things from 290 -Hempstead was bcz this one is climate controlled and our stuff will be safer and hopefully not fall apart due to weather! The facility is brand new or just looks New it’s clean they keep it locked up and secure I always feel safe when I’m there! Oh ya and they have a few platform dolly’s for us to use when we need!!! It’s great!!! And even more importantly and amazing THE PRICES ARE AMAZING!!!!!!! I don’t feel like I’m wasting my money! The people that wk there are pretty great too! I’m happy!
