The facility is ok. The staff are not very helpful. It could be that the company policies are dumb or they don’t train them very much.
I went to drop off a load of stuff and there was a power outage. Apparently you can’t access the units if the power is out, yet staff didn’t put up signs, no alert was sent out, and workers were hanging out in their car without telling people what was happening.
Staff was great and this was a great experience I had with storage facility.

I want to say a big thank you to Billy at the Public Storage on Avery Street. He and his assistant were so helpful and patient with me. I was really confused when I first got there, but Billy took the time to walk me through on how to get to my unit and explain everything clearly. He even helped me get set up in the app and caught that I had entered my email incorrectly his attention to detail saved me a lot of trouble later. He also made sure I was all set up with billing so I wouldn’t have any issues. It really put me at ease. The fastest and easiest storage rental ever. All done online and never had to go into the office. The location is very convenient. The building is modern and clean inside and out. The staff are very friendly and paying attention to who enters the property. My first trip I was a bit lost as to where to go and a staff member came out and politely helped me with the information I needed. The prices are very good compared to other self storage locations. I highly recommend this location if you need a storage solution.

I give this location five stars ONLY because of the customer service. Latoya is always so helpful an informing. There were a lot of policies and nuances that I wasn't aware of and she explained it all to me thoroughly and patiently. The pricing and Policies of Public Storage as a company are horrendous, aggressive, predatory and non user friendly in my personal opinion. It is 2024 there should be better policies that accommodate customers.

Really like this place, seems clean, and the the lady at the front, Jessica I believe, was friendly and helpful. There 2 strange random bags on the fence on top of my storage unit that we had to get down; one clear bag with brown liquid and another small bag that was orange with who knows what. But that was taken so everything else seemed fine.
