Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 333 Cloniger Dr, Thomasville, NC

Shady business practices. I cleared my unit out on July 28 2025, but admittedly failed to remove the lock before the start of the next billing period (August 1, 2025). I got a billing notice on August 4th 2025 and I responded to the site office on August 5 , 2025. I Tried to explain the situation to the office manager and she was not trying to hear it, she actually cut me off while I was attempting to speak.. She told me was that I would still have to pay for the entire month of August. Wow *****This is the same lady who asked me to leave her a 5 star google review back when I moved into the unit (for doing nothing) . She seemed lazy and apathetic then , and based on my most recent encounter, not much had changed”***** I later offered to pay a pro-rated amount for the days I forgot to remove the lock and was flatly denied by the online chat assistant Not good business at all. I’m disappointed in the way they treat a customer who was never late on a payment and really just made an honest mistake.

Melissa is so sweet and helpful. She took us to look at different size units so we could see which one would be best for us. We rented one before we left.

Leslie and melissa were super amazing and I really just love the customer service there. They’re so nice and so knowledgeable! 10/10 definitely recommend!

This location was just recently purchased by Public Storage. They are getting everything back to where it needs to be with proper managemnet and I am impressed with the customer service and someone being on-site every day. Definitely NOT like it used to be under Storage Now. Melissa and Leslie are awesome!
