Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 2117 NC-55, Cary, NC

I have three spaces at the Cary parkway Public Storage. There are always some bad things you can say about a place and I don't agree with all of their policies because they do Jack up rates after you're in there. But one thing I can say about this particular location is the the person they have behind the desk whose name is Grace, is a God send. The friend will go out of her way to help you. It's always courteous, polite, And just a bright spot in your day when having to deal with business. I cannot say that for everybody that works there. There is a vast difference in the personnel. They should do everything in their power to keep this woman there.She keeps the place together 100% I had the opportunity to meet Jason. I think he's like the district manager or something. And he was extremely polite and nice to talk with too. I had a short conversation with him. I told him my pros and cons. On the place, and it seemed like he was willing to work on things that needed done. Also, they recently just put in all brand new doors so they open and close. Really easily. Anyway, if you go there and grace is behind the desk, you're good to go!

Yes, it's a decent location. Yes, it's easy to rent multiple storage units as needed. The worst thing about this company is they often raise the price of your unit, and there's nothing you can do about it. You do not have access to your storage spaces 24/7, as we were led to believe online. The staff has very limited hours if you need help. The doors lock between 9pm and 6am. Often the facility doors are broken and access to various sides of the building are limited.

Corey has helped me immensely with the moving in process. Every question asked he had an answer to! I was worried about previous reviews regarding "The doors" Corey explained there's nothing to worry about as it is being worked on. I highly recommend this location!

This place is a joke. The doors never work and the place is never secure. I called today and talked to Donna about the building being exposed. She hung up on me after she couldn’t answer the tough questions as to when will it he fixed. Classy help they have. They get your money and then they do not care what happens next. Even if you are waiting on someone to fix it, which has been months now, they should be communicating that with their customers. The rent has been raised twice in a year!!! Enter at your own risk.

Satisfied with the price and location of my unit. Customer service 1st appeared great, they called the day after my move-in date to make sure everything went well; however, I didn't move that day, I was moving in that weekend. The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the day I went there, they were "open" which I would assume would me a worker would be there, but there was no one. They do not provide a map of where the unit is located on the floor, just the floor, so I walked around forever until I found it. Then when I found it, there were no instructions on how to open the unit, or lock up, I had to find a stranger who was loading stuff in his own unit to help me.

I needed an a place to save some stuff till i move to my new house, i was help by Corey who kindly anwer all my questions and was very frindly. Im glad i found this place for my needs

They had such friendly staff and a well kept facility, Corey was able to help me find a unit that would fit my needs! I was also able to get my packing supplies here too!

Not secure!!! The automatic doors have been open for several days. We called to let them know of and they didn’t call us back. Anyone can drive up and walk in to the indoor storage areas and the a/c is just running out the doors 24x7. We stopped in to ask what’s going on and the employee said it happens every few weeks because movers hired by renters jam the doors and because they don’t have a contract with the movers they can’t do anything about it. They’ve had a “work order” in for several days…in the mean time NOTHING IS SECURE IN THAT BUILDING!! They have no concerns or long term plan to keep or stop this from happening. I would NEVER choose this place again.

We moved out of our storage unit in April, yet it’s mid May and we continue to get billed and now with late charges. Corporate customer service is fantastic but the property manager here is awful. 0 communication, we’ve left multiple messages and we haven’t heard back. I would not recommend this place unless you enjoy communicating with a wall & getting overcharged :)

I came in a few times to purchase moving boxes. Abigail has gone above and beyond to help me during my moving process. She is knowledgeable and friendly. Excellent customer service. 👍

Abigail, the district manager, was not only extremely responsive to my call and voicemail to the property manager, she was so friendly and answered all my questions. When I signed up for this storage unit, it was through Cube Smart. The property manager and person running the front office were disrespected and incompetent. I had to explain how the hands on the clock worked, like we were in elementary school. So I was worried to call and ask questions. Abigail was wonderful and I am very grateful for the assistance she provided.

This review is based on my experience on the day I was at Public Storage. The sliding door was broken, so we had to commute from the elevator to the unit, then around the building to the Uhaul. Quite a bit of work if you're pushed for time. The bathroom was horrible 😫

Just rented a space here, and felt extremely stupid not knowing how to actually unlock it and open the door. I hated that I had to ask such a dumb question, but Talia who manages the property was so kind and friendly. She immediately helped me out, and definitely made sure I didn't feel like it was an incredibly dumb question. I appreciate that. It's nice to run into kind people every now and then in these situations. Great job by Talia. I recommend this location.

They close to doubled my rent after 6 months and then they locked me out after 7 days for being late on payment even though the lease clearly states 15 days. Then now even though it is fully paid they still have a lock on my unit and Tayla has been incredibly rude, the district manager Jason Tubiolo will not return any phone calls. Tayla actually hung up on me today when I asked why she was being so rude and aggressive when I’m just trying to find out how I can access my belongings. I’m beside myself at how unprofessional and rude this company is.

While I love that the building inside and out is clean, well-maintained and temp controlled it is Sarah and her hospitality that solidified my decision to trust my belongings in their storage units. She was friends, knowledgeable, and so helpful! She remembers her customers names as well which makes it more personable. She is an asset to your team.

Not only is this place fairly priced, Sarah went above and beyond. Not only didn she greet me by name the first time I entered the building but spent time answering all my not so easy questions. Highly recommend this place

I needed storage temporarily so I came here after finding it online. Sarah R and Victoria were so sweet and helpful. Victoria made it simple and explained everything thoroughly and answered all of my questions. Sarah helped me cancel it quick and easy when I no longer required storage. I would recommend coming here to anyone that is looking for storage definitely plan on going back if I ever need storage again. Easy access through the App and super clean and air conditioned. You have the carts to help move all of your stuff it was great! Thank you ladies for being so helpful!

The facility is very nice and the employees are lovely to work with. Unfortunately, just before I was to move in, I was told the price they quoted wasn’t available as the first floor unit had been rented but if I went w a third floor unit, I could have the rate quoted. No big deal! After 3-4 months of being moved in, I received an email the rates were increasing 32% with one month’s notice. 32 percent! Ironically, it’s the exact amount they tried to offer me for the first floor unit that was gone when I first moved my storage in. I planned to use the facility long term so it’s really disappointing they seemingly played these types of games. I’ll now have to move my items. Something to think about before using this facility. I hope it helps someone else from the time and hassle.

Wonderful place and good costumer service

We came to Public Storage facility on July 4th, 2022 and warmly welcomed by Manager Victoria. She listened to us carefully, answered all our questions thoroughly, was very polite and respectful all through our visit. Showed us the space we wanted and helped us book on line. She is a thorough professional, has pleasant manners and made us feel like she was a family member. What else one could expect for? We would give her 10 star rating.

Arlene went out of her way to help me. After having a bad experience with a different storage company it was great to get good customer service. I wanted a unit on sand level as office and one not too far from door due to safety reasons Arlene made sure I had both!

I began reserving a unit online and had some questions before completing the registration so I went into the office to get some assistance. Hamdi was super helpful and answered all of my questions. She also helped me navigate around the building so that I knew which way to go to make moving my things easier. Great and PERSONABLE customer service goes a long way. Thanks again!

I've rented in a lot of storage facilities across the country, including PS. This is the cleanest I've been at. Manager Hamdi is great and easy to work with.
