This facility is managed well and kept very clean. Having 24hr access is now a huge benefit. The monthly rate for my 10x20 currently increased over $50, which is a huge increase, but now comparable to the other storage facilities nearby. So I understand, especially when the majority of the units are filled. You can tell when you drive through and see all the locks on the units. I choose to stay because I use my unit for business and it is walking distance from my house.

Wow, only had the unit a few months and they raised the price another $20 from the origional price. 33% increase! And app never works to get through the gate.

If I could I would give a zero, I chose them because my mom always said they were the best. That's definitely changed since she passed. Know your terminology...inside does not mean climate control. It was hotter inside than outside. On move in day I didn't even go into the unit. I walked in and was hit with a wall of a smell like Grandma's basement. When I went up to the "open and manned" office all that was there was a kiosk. The girls that answered the kiosk were nice enough but no actual person. When I called and asked to be moved into a climate control unit they said they couldn't so I asked for a refund. Nope couldn't do that. So I'm NOT going to be able to use the unit and they were not willing to refund it ON move in day even though I didn't even enter the unit. Oh and even though they advertised trolleys the lady said that facility probably didn't have them. Just a total no for me. I went up the road to a competitors... person onsite, walked me through everything, no smell and trolley to make quick work of the unload.

Candy was absolutely fantastic—she answered all our questions, returned our calls promptly, and even followed up to make sure everything was going smoothly. Her outstanding customer service is the main reason we chose Public Storage, and we couldn't be happier with our decision. Highly recommend this location for anyone looking for reliable and friendly storage solutions.
Our initial rent was $108. They charged us for insurance and a padlock. Which wasn’t a big deal. Within two months they raised my rate to over $170 per month. They offer zero customer service. The gate remote through the phone apponly worked about one in every five trips.

I have been in storage here for a little over three years now. I no longer live in the area, trying to save my money so I can go pick up my belongings and bring them down to my new home in Florida.
I have to stay dealing with the head honcho, Andrea.
This woman is awesome. There have been two times in the past 3 1/2 years that I miss my payment or I was late on my payment I sent out a reminder to pay my bill.

There was no snow removal even days after we had the snow and absolutely no ice removal.No salt put down anything to help to drive around

This is a friendly professional operation. the property manager is friendly, proactive and an asset to the company! She runs a clean tight ship!
It's ok. Just be aware, there are no employees on site to communicate with. Everything is online. They have a video chat screen there and that's it. Getting in and out is a lot easier thanks to the app and Bluetooth. There's not a good option to use your own lock. They charge you a lot of money and a deposit when you can get a brand new lock off Amazon for $10. The worst part of this storage facility is the driveway once you get inside. It's rough and not maintained and is on a horrible slant to get around one side. This is the stupidest thing I've seen considering you're moving delicate furniture/breakables into the units. However, it's close to our house and does seem secure.

This is the second time I've rented a storage unit form them where they 'say' the quoted price should remain the same, but they do not have an option to lock in a rent price. However both times the rent price increased over 30% within the first 3-4 months of my lease. I'm lucky enough to where I have the ability to move my items out fairly easily, but if I were someone that had packed a lot of boxes and personal items in there, I'd probably feel obligated to stay in order to avoid having to move everything again and just eat the additional cost, and I believe this company knows that. I would strongly recommend shopping around for storage units. I've had another storage unit through a different company for nearly 2 years now, and the price only increased 6% after a year and a half. This company's sudden and unpredictable price increases make it difficult to properly budget this type of cost.
This is my second time using Public Storage at this location and they do not disappoint. My units were ready on the day I requested. When a unit was no longer needed, the local staff (Sammy) vacated it for me without delay. I appreciate the security and quality of this storage facility. Sammy was particularly helpful in addressing a minor gate access issue that he fixed on the spot. Whenever I need temporary storage, I will rent it here.

First time at valley park public storage my first impression very clean and secure and Kiosk very helpful.
Proceed with caution. Promotional rates are subject to change at any time. If you rent a unit at the discounted price, it could change the following month. They do not lock that rate in for any period of time. I was a customer, I got a promotional rate, 2 months later it went back to full price. DO NOT rent off the promotional price, they will change your price right after you are a customer. If you call and talk to them, they will verify that the prices can change monthly, its set by corporate and there is nothing the local facility can do. Proceed with caution.

Tried the online rate/price, wouldn't work. They guaranteed I could still have the space for online price. After moving in they denied the online price they guaranteed.

Absolutely the worst experience I've had with a business. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE THEY ARE THIEVES. I rented a unit on 10/30 using the self service Kiosk. Ne t day after moving my mother out of her home into a nursing home the code that worked the day before would mot open the gate. Called the phone number and was told I would have to wait till the next day (it was 8pm) because they couldn't find my account even though I had the account number, email and phone number it was under. So I'm stuck with a uhaul full of stuff and mo where to go. Try to call all day and keep getting the run around saying calm this number, 15x. Horrible place that stole $160 from me

Under new management with outdated ridiculous fees. Only pay with credit card. They will take 5 days to process your payment otherwise. Whats 140+ 112 for a monthly and I was told rents going up to 202 a month. I will no longer utilize Public Storage. Upoer management needs to make better revisions.

I was looking for one close and she was accommodating every kind of way I never met a property manager it was so much excitement about renting a storage. it was great thank you. Easy online process. Never a need to go into the office. Gate pass is easy and the untis are clean, ready to move in. Even has a new lock for the door.
Small 5X5 unit. Started at $36 per month but every 6 months they raise the rates by 25%. The latest increase was to $88...for a 5X5...crazy. i will have my stuff out by the weekend.

I would never use public storage an i will not recommend to other people at all they will auction off your stuff in a heartbeat when u have someone in the office that don't communicate with others staffer bout payments yeah my best friend was behind his payments at least he trys too catch up an pay for the storage unit before yall did what yall did auction off his stuff he's job wasn't paying him alot of money because he was homeless an living in motel all because he didn't want his own kid sleeping outside in the streets he was living off whatever his job paid him i understand we have too meet the deadline of the payments still yall shouldn't auction off his stuff at all
