Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 4365 Johnson Ferry PI, Marietta, GA

I love that I can use my cell phone to open gates and doors. This may seem small, but other places make you type in long, complicated codes, something I really hate.

A lot has changed in 2 years. This place is horrible now. They’re now kiosk only, which means there is no one on site to help you. I’ve had numerous issues while moving units. They raise the rents at least quarterly, and mine doubled in two years. Now they also make you purchase their insurance that they tell you can be canceled, but can’t be. Another $30 per month. Nobody on-site to help you, and double the rent, plus expensive insurance. Used to love this place. Moving out as soon as I have the time, adding to the inconvenience factor I’d give zero stars if I could

I brought my business partner here about three years ago and we had such a pleasant experience with our storage unit. Justin was amazing and helped to make the process smooth and ensured that the location and size of the unit met our needs. We have recently closed our unit but I was so pleased that I decided to rent one and got to work with Justin again! Same process, remembered me and bent over backwards to make sure I was happy when all was said and done. I really appreciate him and the time and effort he puts into his customer service!

I can't say enough good things about our experience with Aleesha and this Public Storage location! When I made an online reservation, Aleesha was kind enough to call me right away to let me know that there was one unit left in the size I needed and that I should finalize the reservation online in order to not miss out on it! She answered all our questions about the space being able to have a trailer pull up to it. She is the friendliest customer service person I have ever encountered. You'd think it's just a storage unit, how important could customer service be? Just the fact that she's there the majority of the time to answer calls directly is awesome. Outstanding experience!! I reserved a 10x30 unit online. Everything went smoothly as planned with reservation. I thought I might need to reserve more space and Aleesha calmly walked me through the process. Most helpful! Our company kept a significant portion of our backline gear here during the first half a year we were in business. The location is convenient, but discrete. The climate was perfect for storing wood and other sensitive things like acoustic guitars. We will definitely comeback in the future when we need storage again.

I had to move last second and I needed a place to fit my whole apartment for a few days. The lady who helped us out got us into the correct size unit and very quickly. I was able to move out in time and the carts outside each elevator made it a lot easier. Worth every penny.

We rented this unit to store my moms things at the rate of $89/mo in 2013. The rent keeps going up and we just got a notice that is now $267/mo for the same unit! When I went online, the price advertised for this same size is $168/mo. You are taking advantage of my mom who has a disability and is living next door in long term care at Manor Care.

Absolute disaster. Stay away! Used them for almost three years. Every few months our monthly rate increased. When we went to get our stuff out it was water damaged and covered in mold. It also had a different lock on than the one we placed on the door to lock it. We had to call a locksmith ($100) to get the lock removed. I have had to claim losses on my renters insurance. The storage company said they have NO responsibility to keep items dry, and/or mold free. There was water dripping from the ceiling. They also said that WE LOST OUR KEY, instead of it being removed by someone else. So now our renters insurance rates will increase and we have no recourse unless we want to pay out of pocket for an ENTIRE HOUSEHOLD worth of personal belongings and furniture.

I was not here long..but an excellent customer service experience..Aleesha was incredible very friendly..I locked my keys in my trunk and Justin helped me tremendously..stayed till locksmith arrived. I would have missed the Braves Watch Party if he hadn't have helped...Thank You so much for everything

Great help from Aleesha( my son’s spelling of her name). She was super helpful and great. She helped us track down our storage unit at another location by our description from our memories of eight years ago.

If only I had known about this place BEFORE I stored my things here! After I stored my things in this unit, I was stricken with an autoimmune disorder that left me in a wheelchair. It makes it very hard to get to the store and make a payment (especially when they close at different times on different days). Half the time the website isn't working to take a payment. I explained this to management but they are very indifferent and slap on as many fees as possible. It's been a nightmare and I would recommend going ANYWHERE else if you're not already a customer.

Aleesha, the property manager, was incredibly helpful! She was informative, friendly and thorough, and we feel confident in this location.

When you pay your bill the website doesn't work so you have to go in to a store or pay over the phone. If you cant get to the store during business hours your forced to pay over the phone which charges you a 10.00 convenience fee. I have been force to pay the fee. It's very inconvenient. I will no longer be a public storage customer. If your smart to cubesmart or something. Dont waste your time. I spent 15 minutes trying to speak with a live agent and even after all the prompts and automated answers I still ended up paying the extra $10 and a waste of 15+ minutes.

I really enjoy using the service here—Especially Aleesha. She has been very helpful in my numerous storage needs and has always been very kind and helpful with any questions. Also, the facility is very clean and I have confidence and it’s security. Thank you public storage.

Very courteous and helpful. Also extremely patient while I decided on what unit to get and she worked with my budget. I will definitely recommend her services to family and friends!

The staff at this location is excellent. They helped me transfer one unit to another ensuring that I was saving as much as possible. Alesha was especially helpful and if you have storage needs in East Cobb, I would suggest considering this location.

We came in to view the size differences of the unit and Maggie was very helpful in making sure we had the best unit for us. She took their time in showing us various sizes as well as inside and outside units. The facility was clean, well lit and seemed very secure. Will definitely rent from this location.

We are thrilled to have another option for storage for our Annual Garage Sale. Being able to pull right up to our storage unit was such a great thing! The staff was friendly and willing to work with us to get the job done! We will certainly be back next year to use this storage facility for the Walton Band Garage Sale.

I currently live in Birmingham but am looking to move to Marietta. I've been having a hard time finding a place I feel comfortable storing my stuff during the transition but luckily I ran across this place. It's a nice facility in a good location but more so than that the customer service was great! Maggie and Aleesha were super polite and helpful. Competent service with a good attitude is almost nonexistent these days but these ladies have both in abundance. Thanks again to Maggie and Aleesha! If the move works out I'll definitely be storing with them!

Moving can be so tasking! By the time you get the movers at your place and everything you're exhausted right!!!! Well thank heavens for the great customer service at Public Storage! Aleesa greeted us with a smile and was very swift with getting us to our nee storage unit. The place was nice and clean. My day is ending on a great note. Yay!

I rented a unit at Public Storage today and was pleased with my experience there. The units are very clean and well lit. It was easy to get a unit and insurance and move in. I worked with Britt who was so nice and helpful. She showed me two different units and explained all of the paperwork very well. I would highly recommend that if you go there you request to work with her, if possible! The only problem I had was that I had reserved a unit online, but ended up pushing my date back. Another person at the office did not want me to reserve another unit online but instead wanted to reinstate the original one that was cancelled. When this happened the price went up because it was not technically reserved online. The first 10x5 unit I saw was underneath a stairwell and the ceiling space dramatically decreased the size of the unit. Britt let me rent another unit that was true to size (10x5 with 10 ft ceilings) on the original online price as well. They said that they would be fixing the monthly rent and giving me the original online price for the unit I rented, so hopefully that will happen. If it doesn't my review will change.
