GREAT STORAGE Facility

THIS IS THE ONE OF THE WORST COMPANY THEY LIE TO THEIR CUSTOMERS AND GIVE THEM FALSE INFORMATION. NO ONE IS NEVER IN THE OFFICE. THEY SAY YOU CAN CALL SOMEONE LADY NAME ERIC AND SHE NEVER RETURNS YOUR CALLS. I WOULD STORE MY DOG TOYS WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY HAVE THE WORST COUSTMER SERVICE TALKED TO SOME LADY WHO COLD BARLEY SPEAK ENGLISH BUT HAVE THE NERVE TO TRY AND TALK OVER PEOPLE. IF I COULD THEM A NEGATIVE STAR THEY WOULD GET IT.

ONE STAR. I received a random notice that my monthly rental rate will be going up $70. I called customer service to inquire about the increase as I did not have an introductory rate when I signed. The customer service rep said they have the right to increase rates with 30-days notice and this rate increase was due to change in market rates. I've only been in this unit for 5 MONTHS. I find it hard to believe that "market rates" have increased that much over a 5 month period. I've been in other storage units previously, for 2+ years and never had any rate increases. I also find it hard to believe that if "market rates" were to decrease, Public Storage would not offer me a lower monthly rate. After some research of other storage companies in the same area (same size units with same amenities), I found this "market rate increase" to be FALSE as all the other companies were $50-$100 lower than Public Storage's new rate (not an introductory rate). $70 monthly increase is outrageous!! I will be moving my property OUT of Public Storage ASAP and into a unit with a different company.

This was my first time having to get a storage unit. Kinderie, (sp?) was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I couldn’t have asked for better service. She’s a keeper.

If a business has business hours posted, why does the business not operate during those hours? I've been waiting 20 mins for a representative to show up and unlock these carts so I can move into the storage unit. The representative is 20 mins late....why is there only 1 person working here anyway? This is absurdity at its finest. I've been on the road for 10 hours and my Uhaul is due back today. The lateness of the representative is really an inconvenience to the time I have to complete my move!

Demetris assisted us with professionalism … customer care par excellence. He was working alone, yet somehow managed to take care of everyone, with satisfaction I might add, while I was present. I have always had such a wonderful experience. Jennifer Gibbs is a jewel. She treats me, a senior citizen, like her grandmother. She is very respectful and extremely patient. I really appreciate her kindness and attentiveness to us seniors.

I had an issue today with my unit and Demetrius took the time to not only listen, but resolve the issue. Good customer service in the end, becomes great once we communicate.

This is my second time using this location for business reasons. Always a pleasant and clean environment . There one lady name Danessia she’s always pleasant to speak with if she’s not at the desk working she’s somewhere with a guest or cleaning. The staff is great but I personally like Danessia perfossionalist.

Location is clean and convenient. Jennifer was very nice and helpful. My only issue is that it was really crowded, but I was there on Saturday so that might be why. Overall I would recommend this location.

The elevators try to eat you. They close too soon and with some force. At nine pm the key pads stop working so be aware of that if you're doing a last minute storage run because your life is crazy and you're listing your house the next day.

This place is a scam. Do not believe that you are getting anything for a $1. They’ll turn around and ask for pro-rated fees as well as A number of things. All they care about is the money. Not to be trusted in anyway.

Definitely looking for somewhere that doesn’t just care about money. They’ll hit you with all the fees they can’t even when they quote you wrong information. They do not care about people just the money. Spare yourself and find somewhere else.

Does this public storage facility sale moving supplies ?

They did not have anything to help you move after 5 the lock everything upthe lights constantly turn off as you're trying to move and it is so crowded when you're trying to get in and out it is almost impossible

Recently, I had the distinct pleasure of renting a storage unit at the Public Storage facility, located in East Point, GA. This particular branch is managed by Jennifer. Her team of professionals including Crystal & Sabrina, all delivered customer service with a spirit of excellence!!! The facility itself is climate controlled, safe, accessible; but most of all the units are large, & the prices are reasonable. Thanks again for a job well done, & a tremendous expression of gratitude to Sabrina, for her professionalism & constant support! I highly recommend this organization, but especially the East Point location.

Jennifer was very helpful. Although this location did not have the unit and rate I was looking for Jennifer was very professional by referring me to another location. She also was kind enough to call ahead to the location and let them know that I was on the way to secure a unit. It was a pleasure working with Jennifer even for the short amount of time. She went above and beyond.

Good company and management, prices are high, just like paying rent, so use storage for short term only, inside units are temperature control....long term would be a waste of your money your things collects dust if goes into the outside units and get old and outdated sale everything start a new beginning, use wisdom.

I've only had my unit a couple of months but I thoroughly enjoy the cleanliness of the facility the safety that I feel when I go to the floor and enter and search for items in my unit and return back to my car I would highly recommend the Desert Drive location for anyone who needs temporary or possibly long-term storage. I had two encounters with Drika, this young lady has a beautiful spirit. A beautiful personality. She is patient, she is caring, she is very helpful and considering of others needs. I pray that she will always have a position here. She went above and beyond to take care of my family. My daughter called Drika all the way from Chicago and asked 1 million questions and Drika was patient and answered everyone. I thank you for having Drika working for your company.

The lobby door has been broken and is wide open for anyone to enter 24/7 for over a week. The building is not secure after hours. They are waiting on a part to fix it leaving my belongings at an increased risk for theft which the general manager seems to think is not a big deal. ETA: The door was broken and wide open for over 2 weeks before it was finally fixed.

I came here expecting to find a box for my flat screen TV. What I didn’t expect was the excellent customer service I received from Chantelle. She went above and beyond to help me find the right size box and even helped me package the my TV in the box. My experience was very pleasant and I’ll definitely come back in the future. She then went the extra mile to let her coworker know I'll be coming to pick up my keys the next day. I've been with Public Storage for almost a year and I would have to say these guys have THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE REPS EVER! My storage property in located in LILburn, however I needed to stop by a location closest to where I was presently. As soon as I entered the property, Chantelle, the rep working that day greeted me and assist me with whatever I needed. She answered all my questions and offered me options to help keep my unit current. If anyone is having trouble making a decision on whether to go with these guys or another company, rest assure these guys really care!! Hope that helps!

unprofessional staff with attitudes.

It looks good on the outside but the inside has to be a safety hazard. There is NO air condition in the building except the office. The elevators are completely dark NO LIGHTS!! Attendant goes missing so trying to get carts was a task. The gate is broken. It's horrible!

THE BEST OF THE BEST IS MISS DRICKAAAAAAA (employee) I had 12 hour before I left town and had to move all in that time frame. I have had a pleasant experience from the reservation of my unit throughout the move-in. During the move-in, I met April. She took ownership of the store by giving me a tour of the facility, reviewing the security of the space, rules and regulations and also performed suggestive selling by offering me a lock and moving supplies to assist with my move! She's definitely an asset to the company.

dealing with other storage places have been a nightmare, but April and Keba are amazing. They are amazingly friendly and welcoming. It is as if we are family. This facility is always clean and managed well. thank you ladies, always good to see those smiles when I walk in. If you're looking for a good storage facility Public storage on Camp Creek should be your choice... 5 stars for me.

Having just dealt with a moving/storage place based in New York it was great to have an experience where there were no "hidden" fees or "hidden" promises. The staff is courteous and answered all my questions and gave me assurance that everything quoted would be just what I would receive. I haven't moved into my space yet, but I'm hopeful that I will continue to be satisfied. The location is easy to get to via car or public transportation and it's clean and bright.

Robin was very good. She took me through the facility to show me the different sizes of units which will help determine the correct size needed for the items I will be storing. She was extremely knowledgeable of the products offered, how to use them and the prices. Robin displayed complete professionalism at all times...Thank you Robin! It was a pleasurable experience.

We store specialized containers at this location and have for almost three years. I am being told by our drivers that the roof leaks (and has for about 3 years). The gate malfunctions. And I have been trying to trying to get the exterior lights fixed for over a month. While the personnel maybe nice and professional, the facility maintenance leaves a lot to be desired.

The grounds could be kept a lot cleaner. Inside, climate controlled storage areas are clean though. What you expect from a storage facility. Note: access hours are not 24 x 7 here, rather 7a to 9p.

This by far has been the WORST experience we've had with renting from Public Storage!!! I'm not sure what agent(s) the reviewers are referring to at this particular location, but, in my opinion , the positive reviews are totally over exaggerated. First, the interior and exterior are so appalling and nasty that I cannot believe this location is still open for business.There is trash and broken glass in the front of the the building and the floors and bathrooms are sickening. Second, the air conditioning is NOT WORKING properly, so in reality we are not receiving what we are paying for, which is a CLIMATE CONTROL STORAGE. When asked why the air is not working, one agent in particular resorts to lying and giving MAJOR ATTITUDE , instead of taking the time to fix this serious issue. Third, the price for renting at this location is far more expensive than when we rented from Public Storage facilities not located in a predominately minority community. This is such a disappointing situation in that the agents and upper management (i.e. Brandon) clearly are not interested in doing what is right for the community in which they have been hired to serve in the most basic sense.

I just left there today getting info about renting a storage and Jennifer and Michelle were so nice and helpful. They answered all my questions and helped me find a storage close to my house. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a storage.

Wow, what can we say. Delta Air Lines needed a large space to store some stuff during a major renovation for a few months. We searched everywhere in the metro area and upon locating this facility, we were greeted with a warmth that is generally absent from a front desk. Ms. Slyvia and Ms. Keba went through a vigorous question and answer period because we wanted to insure our items were in the best facility. They were fantastic. And they even offered us water and just the smiles were enough to satisfy us to rent a unit. Sheronne & Tekeba was excellent the day I went in on a Sat 10 min before closing. They treated me very well no rushing or anything. Went to the Public Storage on N.Desert Drive and spoke with Susie. She was great, she showed me a couple of units, informed me of the different sizes and how to store my belongings. Also gave me a better price than quoted.

I have been a customer with Public Storage on and off for a few years and I haven't had any issues as far as my property being kept there. They have a great manager (Susan) on site who is very much hands on when it comes to service or any issues one may have. Occasionally they bring in a new person without good customer service skills but once you inform Susan of any concerns she handles it right away.

came in on Monday December 30th to reserve a unit and the customer service sucks for my dismay I was shocked at the way the representative treated me and how she handled the other customers that were behind me and in front of me. When it was my turn to be served she told me she could not give me the price that I was called it online but she can give me the price I was quoted to her computer screen I asked so what was the point if on my phone is showing a total different price she told me if I wanted to I can rent from someone else. So I chose to leave and when I left I was made a reservation for another facility that was supposed to be scheduled for Friday January 3rd 2014. But on Thursday afternoon I received a call back from public storage from the manager miss Susie and she wanted me to come back and please rent from them I was very pleased with her service my sister was also pleased with Susie service she recommended that I come back and just see the unit I told myself that I was not going back because the lady should tell me the rent from another facility after I spoke with Susie so I came back and I'm very pleased with the way Susie have taken care of the situation I really do recommend anyone who comes into view a unit or rent from Public Storage on North desert circle to see the store manager Susie she is awesome to the store manager she's awesome. If I ever needed to come back I would definitely come back to the facility.

I had one of the best customer service experiences at the Public Storage located on Desert drive and Redwine in East Point. Sales Associates Susan and Rosemary were wonderful! These ladies are knowledgeable, courteous, and extremely helpful.
