I give the 4200 Okeechobee Blvd. location 2 stars because of the employees. For example today after we were finished helping my mother move stuff from her storage, my husband needed to use the restroom located in the building. The restroom was locked, and it's not supposed to be during open hours. My husband is disabled and almost had an accident on himself because we had to go all the way to the front office. When he was about to ask why they were locked, the lady told him they were locked because she didn't feel like cleaning up after people. Now this ladys job is literally handling janitorial, so why is she even employed if she isn't going to do the job she's paid for. Please do better or find a different job if you don't like cleaning up after people.

The unit itself was clean and spacious enough for what I need it for. The lights in the corridors also automatically turn on once you start walking near them, so that's nice tho initially nerve wracking if you have any phobias of dark corridors.

I just got off the phone with the District Manager of the West Palm Beach Public Storage (Ben). He had a listening ear and willingness to rectify the situation I experienced. He asked what he could do to make the situation better so I asked to be credited for the month that I had not used but had been turned over to collections for payment. Ben went above and beyond to not just reverse those charges but also to credit back 1 month of previously paid rental. I am amazed 👏 at this level of empathy and compensation. Ben is a credit to Public Storage, if I ever need them again, because of Ben, I'll be back.

Ms Latasha is a very hard worker I came in to place some belongings in my unit and watch this young lady clean up out front of the rental building and remove every single piece of trash that was out there with no help if you love cleanliness I highly recommend this property

Went in looking for a unit to rent in urgency. The facilities were clean. I spoke with Ruby and she was extremely helpful and sized my unit appropriately, making it a smooth process. I would highly recommend this location. Ruby was also able to speak Spanish which made the experience that much better.

Gina was a great help and very professional, she gave great customer service. The loss of stars is for the company. I had the unit for about 8 years since I live in S. America. The original price was $20, then they started with the $8/month “insurance” which is only insurance against you not paying. My unit was broken into and the “insurance” would not even cover the price of a new lock. Ripoff completely. So I would get a call every month to replace their “borrowed” lock. Every year my price rose $10 or more until the price was over $100/month. I could not afford that much. Since I live on Social Security money I have had to fly back to the US during the height of the pandemic to give all my possessions to Goodwill. I will never use them again. As I said - for long term a big RIPOFF.

The worst place to rent from when to rent a unit on the Blue Heron Boulevard Public Storage got there unit was full was unable to rent then went to the Okeechobee store rented the unit corporate called because I left a bad review about Blue Heron Boulevard offered to give me a discounted rate same thing I would have paid at Blue Heron Boulevard three months in they jacked the rent by seventy-five bucks and you must have renter's insurance through them big scam artist

Honestly, it is a big place and its secured by a gate and all customers have personal codes. I love the sort of privacy and protection that you get while being in your designated area while moving your personal belongings. However, it is sooooooo hot inside the temperature controlled building. I seriously thought I was going to passout from the heat. Although, the A/C is on, after 3 minutes of manual labor you are sweating like you just stepped out of a hot yoga class, literally drenched in sweat. Therefore, its uncomfortable moving things around, picking up boxes, etc. I had to go sit in my car a few times for the a/c. And another minor bother is the lack of push carts to help navigate and manage a heavy load. I went to grab one, there was about 4 other people using the push carts and no carts for me. Like come on Public Storage you can afford to have a few more around the facility.

This place is not good we lost everything there were 13 break ins within 2 weeks and nothing still has changed. Don’t store your things here it is not safe

Donna the manager was phenomenal. I was finally able to move out of the storage unit I had rented for 3 1/2 years!!!! I was very frustrated to discover that the key my daughter had for the lock, did not fit. I incorrectly assumed it was the facility that put a different lock on my unit. Donna handled the situation VERY professionally (I apologize Donna). We were able to empty the unit and move to the West coast of FL before the inclement weather.
