Thomas is an amazing guy, has the warmest personality!!
I had a good experience here. I was upgraded because they were having technical issues for a brief time. Thomas went above and beyond to make my experience pleasant. Overall I am happy with my decision to go with public storage, it all started with a promotion they were offering, and it so happened that it even got better for me in the end.
They raise rent after 3 months. Started off at $50. Going up to $85 on October 1st. Didn't even get a month's notice. The rent increase notice came in the form of a postcard (by mail so far) Odd since all other communication has been through email and text messaging.
Something to keep in mind...You don't have access to your unit after 9 pm. You only have access during their business hours.

Since leaving this review...
Not only is my rate NOT increasing, it's decreasing.
My rate dropped to $35 per month for the next 3 months.
Less than 24 hours after posting I received a text stating my Public Storage rent would not be increasing. Keep an eye out for an email with more information.
I don't know if the review I left 5 days ago had anything to do with it. I know all storage its raise rates at some point. I'm just thankful for the time to find a new storage unit.

Thomas is a great manager and friendly. The reviews below do not reflect this property. Its clean nicely lit, the gates are not broken. There are no homeless on this property. I am unsure what some of these people are talking about. Maybe they meant another property?
This place is recently under new management and already a noticeable difference. Thomas, the new manager, is friendly and easy to talk to. He keeps the place clean and organized, attentive to any issues and handles everything in a timely manner. Can definitely tell this isn't his first property. Highly recommend this place even if it's a few extra miles. You won't regret it.
In response to the last review of any good reviews "being fabricated"... far from it. Kind of seems like the negative ones are intentional being all of that reviewers pics, except one, are on the outside of the facility. Why? Just because there's a little snow on the sidewalk? Not to insult the reviewers intelligence, the review does a mighty fine job of doing that on its own, but who moves things in and out of a storage unit on foot? Try taking pictures where it matters and use a little common sense, instead of trying to find anything you possibly can to post negatively about the place. Do you or did you even have a unit at this location cause not a single pic from within the gates and not even the slightest of clue as to why you are leaving such review to validate it's accuracy. Hmmmm
This place is one of the best places I've ever stored. Lots of management changes but with that being said. Thomas is amazing keeps the property clean and nice and the inside building are clean the units are clean I must say . He has done an amazing job taking over. When it comes to the snow. People need to realize that sometimes things aren't perfect but when blown out of proportion it really can hurt someone. Snow removal is hard and Thomas has done an awesome job at that as well. So thank you Thomas for keeping my things safe and secure . Highly recommend this place also because the cost is best I have ever had ever. Thank you.
It's been a great experience so far. I rented a space here about 10 years ago, and when I needed storage this fall the Public Storage on Hampden was my first thought.
The folks who work here are incredibly helpful and will go out of there way for you.

I told Frank, the Property Manager, I was going to write a review because she was so helpful in a stressful situation and deserves the recognition. A few weeks ago I was surprised with our Landlord telling us we needed to move because she had to sell the condo we had rented for over ten years. Shocked and stressed the first thing I could think of was renting a storage unit. I looked up the public storage closest to us and it closed in 20 minutes. I rushed over because I work more than full time hours/the hours the Public Storage office is open and wouldn't be able to come on another day to rent a unit until who knows when. Frank helped me . I apologized it was so close to closing time and briefly described my situation. She stated that it was not a problem. She walked the lot with me and showed me several different sized units until I chose the one that worked for me. She then took me back to the office and walked me through all the pricing, paperwork, insurance, and showed me different options offered for purchase in the office such as boxes and packing tape. Frank stayed after closing time to make sure I was taken care of. She didn't have to but she wanted to. She went above and beyond to help me when she could have told me that it was too close to closing time to help me. As soon as she handed me the key to the unit I rented I definitely had a new sense of calm. Thank you Frank, my family and I appreciate you.
Customer service has been great, we definitely had zero problems and concerns about this location, We definitely felt like our personal belongings were secured and had no doubt in our mind. The process was very easy to get a storage unit and we will be using this location again in the near future! Who ever is in charge of this place should get promoted !

Whenever I need help or hava question she is always there to help . I’ve upsized and down sized a few times and she made it so easy for me 10/10 experience

Thanks to Daniel I was able to keep my storage unit here. The rate raise had pushed this unit out of my budget but Daniel was able to get me a 3 month extension on my previous rate. So now instead of taking my money to the competition, Daniel has made it possible for me to continue to be a customer here.
We had a unit at this facility in the 90s but recently called from out of state and reached Daniel on site. I wanted to rent a unit for a relative and Daniel could not have been more helpful. He ran through all the options and even checked nearby sites that might have a better unit for us. This is a clean and well-run facility. Exceptional customer service!
