The management has allowed this location to become run-down. There are two broken steps on the building containing my unit, one of which is frankly dangerous, and it’s been like that for a month. (For the record, today is Dec 2,2023.) The office is never open (if you call the number on the door, they will tell you to make an appointment to see a staff member). There are no bathrooms for customers.

I have had a drive up unit here for several years. Every year they increase the rent DRASTICALLY. I just got a notice that it will be increased by 25%. These storage companies know that they got you because it is such a royal pain to move your stuff out into another facility.

Very deceptive!! We reserved a drive-up unit online and received confirmation emails from Public Storage acknowledging our reservation. On the same day we called the property manager with some questions and they stated our reservation was good for 24 hours. Shortly after that call, and well within the 24-hour window, we attempted to submit payment online. The website would not accept payment. We called back and left a voicemail. No one called back that day. We called again the following morning to complete the payment process. When the property manager called us back, she advised the payment was not accepted the day before because someone else rented the unit. I asked how that could be as we reserved the unit and were still within our 24-hour window. She advised "WE WILL TAKE MULTIPLE RESERVATIONS ON ANY ONE UNIT AND THE FIRST ONE TO PAY GETS IT". What on earth is the point of the reservation??? We planned a POD drop off and moving truck around this reservation, which was totally pointless and misleading. Everything works out for a reason and we found a better space with better pricing directly across the street. Oh, and the competitor actually has customer service. BEWARE....

Justine was professional in helping me find a storage unit that matched my needs! She searched for the best deal in the local area and although she didn't receive any commission from my rental, she provided very thorough customer service to make sure I was set up and taken care of at another Public Storage location! Justine at Public Storage is the best we been at this storage location for over 8 years and by far she is the best manager that has managed this location. She is very friendly and professional and is always keeping the property nice and clean.

Had a wonderful customer experience with Delasia at the Solana Beach location. She had a super helpful and cheery attitude from the moment I stepped in the store. I brought to her my challenge and she was quick on her feet with problem solving skills. And she cared to help solve the problem, which seems like a quality that is lost in customer service. All equates to a happy and satisfied customer!

This location is always very clean and well kept by Justine the manager! She really is amazing! The restrooms are always clean, as well as the area feels very safe to go to your storage, especially being a woman that’s extremely important to me. The carts are a very nice added extra to help lugging around the bigger items. Definitely recommend!!

Drove 25 mins to this place for the rental office not to be open, claims 1st month is free at the office and online but according to small disclaimer nobody reads it’s only at certain locations, we call in and Ethan answers the phone tell him will pass for now then tries arguing with us when we say will pass. Don’t recommend
