She is not even the district manager of my unit at public storage, but she spent a lot of time trying to get me help regarding my access code even on a Sunday by reaching out to other people in my district :-) she was very sweet to give me her contact so that we could continue to make the codes work on a weekday (since today not many other employees at Public storage worked, and we couldn’t get the code). Really appreciate her willingness to help! :-)

Maria, who is the manager here in Los Gatos, is terrific! She definitely cares about the clients. She has helped me find the best storage units for my needs and responds to phone messages quickly if I have further questions.The Los Gatos storage units are well maintained and clean, and the lights turn on automatically in the hallways and stay on, which is a big plus for me.

I would give 0 stars if I could. I moved my stuff into a unit and about 6 months later they raised the rent 30% with no warning. The front desk girl was super nice the day I signed on and since then gives me a nasty attitude if I call or ask a question. She is not friendly. I’m surprised that this place has decent reviews. Don’t waste your time here. Do yourself a favor and look somewhere else

I needed a box for a banjo. Maria was so kind in helping me. She took the time to go through all the options and also helped me pick out the best packing supplies to keep the banjo from damage in transit. This place offers more than storage! If you ever need boxes for an odd shaped gift or for moving, they also can help you with that. Maria was so kind and genuine. If I need storage, I’m definitely coming back because of her. 😊✌🏽✨

They just raised my rent from 185. to 228.! That is a 25% increase! That is after a rent increase last year. Is that even legal? I have been there over 9 years and not once was there a cart in my building. This is too much!

So, my key broke off in the lock but, failed to lock the door. Luckily, Christina was there to save the day. She was the employee working at the time of this freak incident and helped above and beyond. She attempted multiple good ideas to rectify the problem to no avail. Finally, she called a local locksmith for me which ultimately was the only option. She was very friendly, professional and supportive. She didn’t have to call the locksmith. I didn’t ask her too. She just knew what to do while I freaked out.

Came in to make a payment for my unit. Paul was very helpful and made everything quick and painless. I have only nice things to say about the property. It is always well maintained and clean. Highly recommend.

I’m happy with the service and amazing deal I received from this company. But let me tell you, Paul was outstanding, courteous, knowledgeable, and kind. He is the real reason I decided to rent at this location. I moved from a previous location because it was to high in price but he helped me get a great price and a smaller space for my stuff.

It's both good and not so good. The place is old and lacks AC. So in the summer it's REALLY hot if you are inside for any more than a minute or two and it's over priced. It must be due to the "In Los Gatos" kinda thing. But the people I've come across now and then have all been nice people and very friendly. It's also never crowded, so parking close to my unit is a breeze. Only having access from 6am to 9pm kinda sucks, but it is what it is.

I had a very positive experience getting the storage unit. It was a fast process to sign the paperwork, which was minimal and done quickly electronically. Maria was helpful, very friendly and professional. Her explanations were clear and concise. We got a move-in special, a half off of the first month. I reserved the unit online and then showed up the day we moved our stuff into the unit. There were no issues.

Quick and easy to reserve and do express check check out online. Prices seemed lower than at least 3 other places i checked out first. Received a very prompt call only minutes after making reservation online. Arrived to storage within minutes from phone call. and was well taken care of by Maria. She was also the one who had called me earlier. She was very attentive to how i felt when i git there and explained everything in a very well detailed yet fast way.

Maria was very helpful while I rented a temporary storage locker between October 2015 and January 2016. My only complaint is that I wasn't aware that the lock I purchased from them wasn't returnable. I don't really need a $20 lock that has "public storage" engraved on it. Oh well. The facility was clean and secure. I slowly filled the unit over the course of several weeks and saw her often sweeping and otherwise keeping the premises clean. If I were still living in that area I would certainly use their facility again.

I recently had a pressing need to acquire storage space and recalled that -- 30 years ago -- my father had used this very same Public Storage site for years. So... I booked online, due to the highly competitive rates for this area, and sealed the deal in person due to the responsiveness, professionalism, and good humor of Sophie, who answered all my questions and gave me a tour of the facility before signing up. Bottom line: I felt very confident with a) the online process/website and b) the clear competence and personableness of Sophie. I been having to rent storage for many years, because rents are so high for apartments. I only go in to pay my rent when the manager is there Valea . She is always so friendly and helpful. I know the manager has been there a longtime, so I feel like she is part of my family. She is always cleaning up the place and checking the locks on the storage units. The prices are really high for rent there at Public Storage, but I feel that my things are safe there, so I don't want to move.

My experience with Valea, the Property Mgr @ Los Gatos on University Ave. was exilerating to say the least. I'm in the process of moving to the Los Gatos area, and have been doing my research on various storage properties. So far, THIS location is definitely my favorite. I have nothing but positive feelings about Valea and her presentation of Public Storage. She is very professional, courteous and upbeat. Her units & restroom were SPOTLESS, She was extremely thorough in explaining pricing and sizing. And even though another customer called in, she made it clear to me that she would give me her undivided attention. She finished up her phone call in a timely manner and she continued with my inquiries without missing a beat. Valea, the on site Manager, is always kind and courteous, and has a friendly smile to greet us. She goes out of her way to accommodate any request for assistance. Her unique combination of warmth and professionalism makes our visits to the Los Gatos Public Storage office a pleasure. The facilities and grounds are clean and well lighted, and the location, near downtown, is perfect for accessing our records. We highly recommend this facility to everyone.

Valea, the Manager of that office, makes it happen. She is so thoughtful and so customer oriented. We are not customers to Valea, we are friends coming to pay a visit. For that reason alone, I would recommend that Public Storage to anyone looking for some storage space. I was lucky to do do business with such a person at Los Gatos Public Storage where VALEA is the manager of this storage facility. I have three lockers for over a year and during this time I have not encountered a problem she could not tackle and solve it. Valea is a rare and valuable asset for Public Storage, she treats you like a human being rather than just a number.
