It was my First time renting a storage since i’m decluttering all my clothes and other belongings so a friend of mine recommended to store it at a public storage so i picked this storage bcos it was closer to my home, the employees were very helpful, not even 2months and my storage got broken into and stole all my expensive bags and sunglasses and left the clothes and other items, i was super sad and disappointed knowing that this facility have strict access to only tenants but i guess it’s an inside job since other tenants that i talked to said the same thing alot of people getting their storage broken into many times and i think the employees knows who will be the victims cause they can see it on their cameras when tenants are moving into. Warning do not rent to this storage! There’s an inside job going on. I’m talking to my lawyer bcos this happens many times in this facility according to tenants and the police officer who took my police report. DO NOT RENT here if you want your storage to be robbed.
Is there EVER ANYONE WORKING HERE!? Every time we come to the office it's is closed and locked up. MULTIPLE TIMES! RIDICULOUS!!
Understand that reviews are given to businesses in hopes that services can improve if something is wrong. However, do not be fooled by the corporate image. A business with so many police repprts filed against them by their customers needs correction and fines. If the actions of our California Laws doesn't make such business improve, then, they shouldn't be allowed to offer a defective product to the public.
THE PROBLEM:
Whe my employer moved his 30,000 comic collection to this business we were offer security and we were happy, to the point that I wrote a good review. Notwithstanding, there was constantly police activity when customers started filing eports as their units were robbed. In one occasion(5) units were robbed during the night.
Many tmes we found the lock of our unit removed and we had to pay out of pocked for the repairs based on the fact that after informing management of the problem, we were toldi that the lock would be repaired with in 3 business days.
In addition, customers that requested to view videos of the time their units were robed were informed that the surveillance equipmemt was not working. Management was aware that half of the properties lights were not working and it took 6 months to make the proper repairs.
My boss was given one month to move out and was deprived of entering the unit were he kept his personal belongings and most precious items. Now, management collected the current months rent, then deprived entrance. Business, should.never be done this way. He was told that a supervisor would call him and inform him of the reasons this action was taken. Unfortunately, no one ever called.
So, many good reviews can not be true when a business lacks of security and when their customers are unhappy.
It is not fair for the publicw hat works so hard to buy what they want and need. Then, trust a business that gives false advertisement and that allows these type of crimes. It is also not right that when the customer informs the business of the crime committed against them, to be told that there is nothing they can do.
In good faith, I hope that this review is taken as constructive criticism and that Public Storage helps all the victims that trusted them based on the corporate image.
DO NOT rent to this storage facility bcos i got my storage robbed twice 2 months apart. I’m so pissed and they couldn’t do anything! Warning! Do not store your valuables and make sure you take pictures of your items.

Today I had the pleasure of meeting Ethan while I was in the office paying my rent for my storage space He was great Ethan was very polite and respectful. Even though he couldn’t do what I was asking he still made my day worth what he could do I’m truly grateful that Ethan was there in the office today with his excellent customer service I feel better coming back into the office to pay my rental fees. Warning ⚠️!!!!!!!Do not go to this place!!!!! i spoken to henry about purchasing a storage unit once i purchased this 5’5 storage unit and went in to look at it a huge rat run from eating the poison inside the unit and scared me and my 4 year old daughter!!! when i went back to let henry know there was a rat in the storage unit he was very rude and giving me a hard time to get my refund back!!!! please don’t go there i’m saving you a trip and money they gave me a very hard time giving my money back and they don’t give your money back it’s in the contract!!!

I’ve experienced theft on two separate occasions in two different storage units over the past year. The first time it happened, management offered me another larger unit at a discounted price. I accepted their offer and then they increased the rent 4 months later. Over this past winter I arrived to my unit and everything inside was covered in mold due to a leaky roof. I notified the property manager and they did nothing. That unit was broken into a few weeks ago and today I get an email stating that my rent will increase again. They don’t have any onsite security after hours. All they have are cameras which don’t do anything to stop or deter theft. While filing a police report on-site I was informed by another customer that 10 units were broken into on the same night. The police officer who took my report said that they are frequently taking reports at this location and the cameras don’t do anything to deter theft or catch the perpetrators.
To add insult to injury, I informed the property manager that I was moving out today. My payment was automatically deducted for this month, so I asked to be prorated the difference. The property manager said that she could not do that. Lastly, she had the nerve to ask me to change my review to a 5 star review because it takes 15 five star reviews to negate 1 one star review. I contacted corporate via chat on their website and the agent hung up on me after I explained what happened.
A message to headquarters: We store our possessions in good faith trusting that they will be kept safe from theft and other damage like mold from leaky roofs. Your business ethos should include those fundamentals and they should resonate through everyone who works for you. Walmart became who they are today because they put the customer first. They are a shining example of what happens when those values are met with consistency and understood by all employees.
Update: I contacted all the corporate executives and they prorated the last month’s rent, so I’m changing my 1 star rating to a 3 start for the responsiveness; however, it took a great deal of effort on my part. I still moved out and wouldn’t consider renting from this location again unless they had onsite security.

She has shown herself to be outstanding in customer services and has a keen willingness to anticipate the needs of those she assists.
I also appreciate her detailed attention to maintaining the wellbeing and cleanliness of the storage facility. No one can match the care and concern Liz has for her job.
We moved from Signal Hill Self Storage a few months ago as they had stolen much of our property. We were very disappointed and afraid to rent another storage unit but we had to. We decided to to go with Public Storage on Atlantic Ave., in Long Beach, Ca. Still hesitant and afraid I agreed.
I have to say, out of all the storage facilities we have rented units from, PUBLIC STORAGE has been the best. LIZ has amazing customer service and helps the customers genuinely, always looking for their benefit. She works very hard and keeps the place clean. I feel that our belongings are safe now. Thanks for all your help Liz. We truly appreciate your help.

She was so patient and kind to me even after having to switch back the unit she had just did the switch for. Not making me feel bad for asking her to do this was a relief to feel. Most people are unkind, and rude.. Phenomenally kind, and openly understanding she was. It was really Deeply appreciated to see her smile through the process both times. Liz was super friendly and helpful. I reserved a unit online but wanted to check it out in person. She walked me out to the unit and explained the facilities security system as well as the access instructions and hours. The location was easily accessible and very clean. Liz made the process simple and quick and didn't make me feel uncomfortable when I asked her 20 questions! I had a great experience, would recommend this location to anyone looking for a clean and secure spot to store their belongings.
The rates just keep going up! Since 2015 the price has gone from $350 to $900. Oh, and the mice are out of control.
I have had a worthwhile conversation with the management of this specific location. I have been reassured that there are ways to get a new unit after all this time and $$ relief as well.

To expensive never never again they get you in then every month they go up like the rent and no where to put trash and they treat it like apartment but you can't sleep there

I've been thinking to get in the gate for 3days they don't know when they're going to fix gate and want open back gate to let in I have event Saturday and can't get in unit that's bad business I will sue if I miss event.
