My experience here was Amazing the front staff was on it and provided more than enough information on renting out a unit I would recommend this place.

The staff working is wonderful try to make sure all is well. Out of their control and I mean out of control rat problem. I open my unit to rat poop all over purses, clothes eaten through. The girls tell the owner who does nothing. Take a day and tent it people will get over it when they find out why one day they couldn't get in their units

My spouse and business partner need to rent a storage unit to move our business from the Valley to LBC. So, we rented a storage unit at this facility yesterday and paid for it at the same time. When we tried to check into the unit today, Darlene (one of the property managers) refused to let us check into the unit. She refused this even after we showed her the reservation number and unit number. She said that because one person's name was on the credit card who paid for it and another person's name was on the reservation. After I got out of work today and called to ask what happened, they were extremely rude on the phone and said we never tried to check into the unit today. When we told them there is video recording evidence of us being there, they then changed their story and blamed the situation on us. They told us we must have messed up and not told them the correct check in information (it's just our names which clearly they could look up). They said there is no audio recording so it's going to be their word versus ours. They then started yelling at us on the phone when we asked for a refund of today since we weren't allowed to move in today. We informed them that we are going to refuse the credit card charge and will not be renting there. They continued yelling at us, so we hung up the phone. Never seen such incompetence and rudeness. Choose any other storage facility.

Idk what’s happening but no one is here and the storage is locked on a reg bus day. Drive an hour to get a medically urgent item from storage and I can’t get in…

Sales associate CARMEN she is super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable and knew exactly what I needed to accommodate my storage needs I wish every storage experience was like this one unfortunately this was the first best storage experience I ever had. I believe all employees should have this type of etiquette.

Beware storing your valuables in the basement area. There has been a lot of break ins. I am a victim to these burglaries & not much is being done to prevent them. Maintenance on some of the storages should be made especially if there's any kind of opening into the storages. They climbed into ours wire should be placed on all storage units to prevent these burglaries.

She also ask everyone to write her a review towards the beginning of the month, this makes her look good, in return she helps with like extension and taking off extra fee’s for you. She was informed that I didn’t no longer want insurance coverage for my personal belongings as to see that this place randomly goes up in price on your storage unit, and her and I was talking about how they had been having break ins, and these thieves were breaking the guests locks and stealing their personal belongings. Why a week later, mind you my storage unit was on the second floor in the middle of the property, and when I went to go retrieve my belongings only to discover my lock had been broken and my belongings had been stolen and went through! The lady that I reported this to was also rude, her response was it looks like it’s all trash anyway! Such disrespect! I believe this is an inside job by the employee. They are the only ones who have information on which units have insurance and the other ones that don’t. And carman has been the only person that has helped me while storing my belongings there, it’s sad that she would be apart of this type of behavior! I will never recommend anyone to go there!

No one working to help customer

There are homeless people loitering and even entering the property and there are no security cameras. Overpriced with no security. I left my car in storage and there were cockroaches in the garage.

Units are accessible from the top. Someone climbed into my unit from the top and stole several items. When asked if they had any camera footage they said there were no cameras where my unit is... And I pay nearly $200 a month. I'm OUT

Carmen was amazingly helpful. Very informative with our rental agreements and move in and everything. 10/10 would recommend!

we had this place for many years, every year the fees went up and they do not keep the place clean. I told the front desk that in our unit someone threw a bottle on top with something that looked like urine. Many months we keep telling the front and they never did anything. Fees keep going up, the place was getting more dirty, nothing was done with our request so we moved. We had to trashed so many things due to dead mouses, urine, and feces. Save your money and go some where else.

Hate the hours. Opens at 9:30 and closes at 6pm. The hottest times of the day and have a storage on top floor, no air conditioning so I can't go to storage until winter when it's not as hot. Other than that Staff has been nice and facility is clean. They could offer a trash can to throw small stuff out. I do like that they offer

The staff are never in the office and there are a lot of bug roaches in the units they be walking in the hallways .

Public storage is a rip off with how they can change there prices at any given date or time I hate it it's like they want you to lose your things I was very unhappy with public storage . And for you veteran's out there they don't tell you though, I was told when I cleaned out my storage the only they can't do to a veteran is they cannot put your things up for auction I was told that by a public storage employee.

Came to check out parking storage and unfortunately what they offer wouldn't work for my RV. The young lady in the office, Vanyse, was very nice and helpful. She did everything she could to find me something else but we weren't successful. I appreciate all that she tried to do and would definitely recommend this location for your storage needs.

I couldn’t be more pleased. Although, the size unit that I reserved wasn’t available on the day that I took possession, they upgraded me to a larger unit at the same rate! In addition, one can check out rolling carts with one’s ID ... making loading and unloading SO much easier!

Prices are a little high, but otherwise the staff is friendly and helpful.

I juat feel the need to advise people to to periodically check on items in storage. Thry allow homeless people to sleep in storage facilities as a paid customer and my lock wly changed.. Had to call police to make a report and break in my own storage and Corporate doesn't care

Felt the need to warn people..always check inside your storage..and get insurance, take pictures..u probably can't tell from pics but anyone can climb through the units. I found a homeless man in the unit changing his clothes and he admitted on video that he sleeps there, and the employees allow him because he is a paying customer..meanwhile the day before my unit lock was mysteriously changed and i had to call police to make a report and break into my own unit. Contacted corporate and general manager, district manager in which they avoided my phone calls and never returned my phone calls. Employees are lazy and don't do a complete walk through before closing time and that's why there were unaware the homeless man was sleeping in storage unit.

Why has the rent gone up so much? When i started in 2015 rent was$165 00 , a month for a 10' x 11" now it is $305.00 a month im taking my things out by the end of this month.

My storage has been broken into at least 3 times that i know and thats just a shame especially that I'm on the main floor Close to the entrance. My time is up gotta go. Other wise it has been a a long time paying rent for my things to just sit there, i should of sold my things instead of storing them i would of saved about $15,000 dollars . The staff at Public Storage were very nice.

Smelly & unclean .. Place was not hygienic at all.. Homeless living on Street right outside the garage bay doors .. The higher up people "in charge" need to figure that out!! The smell was unbearable,I got sick to my stomach.. If you get the 1st month "deal" that is what you will be stuck with .. The workers were awesome & kind & did everything they could to be pleasant and, help us -This is the ONLY reason for two stars .. This is not the place to bring things you care about to keep safe.. I would suggest you check out the space first & ask if they can move you, if your not happy.. If you have any other options I would suggest go somewhere else ..

So I came to this location, and a Mr.Nick helped me out, answered questions, and gave me really useful info for my situation. He was really nice and seemed to know alot! He was also very friendly and seemed like he really cared. 5 Stars!

Ha! If I could give them no stars I would. I made a reservation and I came at 4:48 the lady was screaming hurry up we closing at 5. So I run in and told the lady I made reservations the Hispanic looking one was gonna do it but the other lady with red weave hair was like uh we close at 5 your gonna have to come back tomorrow. It was not even 5 o clock. And me and my son took a Lyft up there. Smh. So no Imma cancle the registration and go with another one.

Helpful staff! One of the large bay doors couldn’t be opened so you have to walk a bit further but not a huge deal. Unit wasn’t swept before I moved in. Also not a huge deal. Overall good experience.

Charging me another months rent after I moved out the day before the month ended. Ive made several calls and their DM is always in meetings & never available. I was told I would get a call back and so far nothing. I just received a collections letter charging me close to $400. Still nobody is able to or willing to help me clear this out.

the only reason I will give them a two start is the is the customer was hmm ok. what I didn't like I had roaches in my unit. they say other people brings in food that may be so, but other customers suffer do to that .

Everyone I spoke with on the phone at this location has been nice. I want to thank Andrea especially, she was extremely patient and professional each time I had to coordinate a couple of things to get a space for a family emergency. She never at one time tries to rush through my requirements. She looked out for the best deal I could possibly get. Thanks you Andrea for going that extra mile and making this a smooth transition with my family not having to worry about anything. Smooth transaction that was important. If it wasn’t for everything she said and did, I would have went elsewhere. Her customer service was on point! Thanks a bunch Andrea!!!

As a long time customer, i 've been here since 2008 and I am so grateful for the kind of help that I get from the Three workers here. Without their help, I would never have stayed here that long. For instance, one of my many needs is to have the storage be opened early, on time, and even later because I didn't finish the work that I must do. Debbie will always make sure that I can stay late so that I can finish my work! Another great need I have is to have a dolly available so that I can put my things on but a dolly is never available unless I come when the storage first open up. However, I can not always be here when you first open. Fortunately for me, Breanna would come to my rescue and give me a dolly just when I need it! The understanding that I get from Andrea for little things like leaving a mess out in the hall and not cleaning it up before I leave. She would just clean it up for me and not chastise me for it! I truly appreciate all of their help, their patience, and their understanding. I appreciate all that they do to make it easy for me to store things here!!! They have tried to bring the cost of storage down for me by trying to give me a smaller unit. For these reasons, I am able to continue to keep my storage for as long as I have!!! I've been renting 2014 and the staff here has always been wonderful. But Andrea Brianna and Debbie are my sweethearts. They are always so pleasant to see with a bright smile that lights up a whole town.

The multiple times we bombarded Andrea, Bri, and Trinell with questions, they never failed to answer and remained beyond polite. They were consistently helpful, extremely friendly and were a great help to us.

I called this storage place regarding a 5 x 10 storage unit. I inquired how much the unit would cost. The representative said he wanted to make sure that he would find me the best price possible. He relayed a bunch of information to me not leading up to the price. Therefore, I asked him what the price would be. He responded with a question about what I would be putting in the unit. I was a little weirded out by why he wanted to know what I would be storing, in that it’s none of his business. I responded that I was just interested in knowing what the price would be because I’m comparing different storage facility prices. He ignored my response and repeated the question by saying, “I totally understand, it will just help me help you better by knowing exactly what you’ll be putting in the storage unit.“ I said I just wanted to know the price, and he hung up on me.

I myself have never had any issues with public storage...anytime I have used them, the prices were fair and I was able to store my belongings in a secure place, which is the ultimate peace of mind.

This branch of Public Storage in the Long Beach has an excellent location just north of downtown Long Beach, near Signal Hill and is very easy to access, especially if you're using any type of large moving vehicle. The staff is very helpful, especially Deborah. I made my reservation online and she promptly called a short time later to introduce herself and touch base about my move in time and all that. She was very personable and helpful during the entire move in experience.

This is a NEGATIVE review for the PS customer service/call taking dept, NOT for the actual location off of Atlantic Ave/Willow St. (Long Beach, CA) I called asking for info for the 5x10. The person on the other end of my phone call was Felix, the call taking dept. I called on Friday. Two day later, Sunday, their customer service calls me to confirm my application. I never called to place a “reservation.” My issues: 1) is the only reason they collect my name and phone is to harass me via phone call and email?, 2) how does my call gets misconstrued when I’m calling for INFO to making a reservation? These two issues make me believe PS aren’t really LISTEING to their customers when they call for info only, POOR business practices by jumping to conclusions by pressuring me to rent from them. STOP IT!! If I already called asking for some info, I’m pretty sure I can call a second time if you’re the right fit. Should I start calling the Distric and/or Regional offices to stop these harassing calls?...because I will. Or, I could start calling the Better Business Bureau.

I love this public Storage , my favorite employees are Breanna & Andrea . They are always such a big a help to me and are so kind. Because of that I’m always recommending this public storage to friends and family .

This public storage location is the s*** to me I really like the fact that it is extremely sanitary and the employees are very friendly especially my opinion Brianna and Andrea. The others are cool as well but those two are my girls lol they are very professional very well spoken and always kind to all the customers. So if you are in the Long Beach area and looking to store your property make sure you take a trip down to that location and look for Bri AKA Brianna or Drea AKA Andre and tell thwm Casino sent you LOL.

The management here is lacking. No one has authority to do sh....corporate wants you to call store.....store says call corporate customer service LOL. EVERYONE TRYING TO PASS THE BUCK CUZ ITS NOT THEIR RESPONSIBILITY!!????

This was by far my best Public Storage experience!! The staff there are kind and helpful! I came in and Andrea and Brianna, both wonderful ladies, patiently looked up my act to help me pay on my moms storage. Great customer service, definitely recommend coming here.

This location is spectacular to myself; I must say every time I enter the building I’m always greeted with a pleasant smile. Let me continue by saying Andrea, Brianna, & Gary are wonderful staff members with extraordinary customer service skills always helping me better understand the charges that tied to my account.

Dirty, dirty, dirty!.. don't rent this location.. im stuck now because of the cost of relocating to another location, but if i can save you, then good. The workers literally told me that that location has a rat and roach problem because they allow homeless to live in their units and the management doesn't spray poison often enough. Right now I'm stuck waiting on an insurance claim because my couch, bed and cloth items had bugs on them, and my antique sewing machine and some of items had rat fesces and pee on them! Horrible.. Don't go there

Don't use this one.. my stuff was damaged by rodents and bugs and this place is filthy and tons of homeless hanging around because they live in units here.

Storage not was easy to access. Had no issues. Wish they were open later hours but understand why they have their regulations.

Can’t reach anyone had to go through their call center to reach an answering machine. This place has been a complete nightmare. Don’t expect “payment successful” message when you make a payment online to actually mean that. What it should say is “payment submitted “. It’s misleading actually it’s just a flat out lie because the payment doesn’t go through until days later ... if they sent the message then it would be accurate but they don’t. I received late fees and bad check fees and Who knows what else because no one ever emailed me to tell me that the payment didn’t go through so I was going about my business thinking that was taken care of. And also if you add anybody to your account an authorized user That essentially doesn’t mean anything because now my authorized user who am I authorized to represent me and be able to move stuff in and out she can’t do anything they need my signature while I am trying To make a living I can’t just leave work that is what I thought I added her as an authorized user for so that she can go without me but apparently authorized user doesn’t mean anything. Don’t waste your time with this place find somewhere else.

Andrea, Brianna, and Robyn were extremely helpful!! I've never needed to rent a storage unit before, so they called me immediately when I reserved the unit online, they answered all of my questions, and got us in and out in less than half an hour. I loved their efficiency!

I had a great experience storing my things here. My things were in storage almost 2 years while I was out of state, I worried about my items from time to time but when I finally got to go pick my stuff up it was just as I had left it, undisturbed for 2 years. The facility itself is a bit dirty once you go into the hallways but that did not effect my things. Thank you public storage long beach for being so awesome and always providing great customer service!!!!

These 3 beautiful women go by the name of Debbie Bri and Andrea helped me out with my move in. As well Debbie made sure I protected my belongings with boxes and tape thank you so much ladies.

The management doesn't even deserve a 1 star. My stuff was destroyed by mice. I don't even know where to begin. Rat urine everywhere, dead critters all over my stuff. Holes on my furniture, clothes and boxes. Rat turds in my boxes, and chewed up books. I called headquarters to ask why I was being charged for the following month, ( I was on a pro-rated contract), they said they changed its without my knowledge and every year I kept getting an increase. I had to fly from alaska to move my stuff out of their, At which point all of my valuables where already destroyed. Rude management, I called the head guy. Complete jerk, I even recorded our conversation, I wish I could upload it on here so you guys can hear how condescending he is, even after the fact that I rented from them for over 5 years and hundreds of dollars down the drain. Never again.
