I was looking for storage around my home and had some question before I get my storage! James who’s working did awesome job explaining everything and I was able to get size I needed and was able to get storage on the day I visited! Recommend 100% go find James to get help!!

This is not fair for the people they have to have do use the elevator .
And yet you raise the rent that doesn’t make sense.
You should give us a reduction in the rent and not increase it
I strongly advise against renting from this property. The elevators have been out of service for three weeks, despite tenants paying for this amenity. Management has failed to address the issue, creating an unsafe environment. My husband was forced to carry heavy items, including a refrigerator, up the stairs, resulting in a back injury. This lack of maintenance poses serious safety risks, especially for those on higher floors. Dont rent here !!!
Today was an exciting day at public storage lol
I came in during my lunch hour and Alexis greeted me with a smile and gave me the bad news that the elevators were down. It was time to get our steps in.
Alexis was very helpful, knowledgeable and answered all my questions.
As we were trying to sign up my phone was giving us problems. She was texting me links, emailing me linking me links and nothing worked. I honestly have the worst of luck so I stayed patient and told her I would be back after work. I went after work and for some reason it was still not working. Alexis was nice enough to let me baroow her phone!! You heard that right!! She goes above and beyond to help her customers. I officially have a storage unit and a lot of laughs with Alexis. Thank you.
BUYER BEWARE! Elevator not working indefinitely. My wife and I are moving and needed a temporary place to move our stuff while we're getting our house prepped to sell. Our unit is on the 3rd floor. I had issues trying to get into the unit for the past few days. I finally get in to see that the elevator is down indefinitely. I talked to the front desk and they said it might be two weeks but they weren't sure. I called corporate and nothing. No one is there is talk or help you out. Do not bring your business here. I have a lot of bulky/heavy items that I now can't put into the storage unit I paid for.

We have had multiple units at this Public Storage at 999 e lambert rd. in La Habra for years. James and Alex are both AMAZING! They take care of anything we need every time we reach out! They are easy to contact, and we get calls back promptly when we leave a message. Customer service like they provide is very uncommon these days, and James and Alex are the reason we have kept our business at this location and will do so as long as we need the service! EXCELLENT!
Very easy to maneuver internet to rent easy access in and out

The guy Alex which is the property manager who lives there is EXTREMELY RUDE every time Ive tried to speak to him about anything he’s completely unsympathetic and combative. He’s never in the office and never answers the phone . I called in before and he left me on hold for 15 minutes on a silent hold because I asked for the district number and he asked me what for and that he wasn’t going to give it to me and I stated I demanded one then came back to the phone and told me “good luck because your going to need it “ and hung up in my face . I’m so confused what that meant very distasteful. Very rude ! That phone call needs to be listened to
Update: Raised the rent TWICE for $65 each in the first year. They have doubled the cost of my rental in less than 12 months. Scam artists.
Raised rent by 25% in the first 2 months.
Do not fall for their bait and switch tactics. They will run promotions and offer a good price then raise the rent 25% twice per year until you're right at the normal insanely high price. The Better your starting rate is the more aggressively they raise it. Better off selling your stuff or making room in the garage than paying them thousands a year.
We have rented space from here for several years. James called one afternoon to inform us that we had not engaged the latch when we locked our unit. Thankfully, his alertness in checking units during a regular walk-through saved us any loss. He could not have been more helpful. As we've been loyal customers for years with a couple of units, he was kind enough on our behalf to arrange for a reduction in our rates based on our long customer loyalty. In these awful inflationary times everyone has been going through the past 4 years, this was most appreciated.

At first, I was a little dubious of their personal service due to the heat I guess and a bad rep. But the next day I came back and Alexa turned all that around. If Alexa stays with Public Storage, she’s going to become the district manager very quickly and she could move up the corporate ladder as well. Any corporation would be lucky to have her!
Regarding the spaces, they are clean and neat and high and metal clad and very very secure . Driveuo access is also excellent. I’m going to have no trouble bringing my 40 foot semi truck into the backspace to load it up. Not to storage units can claim that. U-Haul can’t. Smart Stop can’t Public Storage has been great to the military excellent Veterans and as far as I’m concerned, they are my storage for life. However, I don’t plan on keeping Storage for life that would be wrong!

Unit was already prepared with lock and relevant literature. Unit was well lit and very clean in a controlled environment.
Also, there are MANY self-storage facilities in the La Habra area, and I looked at three different storage places. This place was the cleanest, neatest, had the best climate inside (Important if you have antiques and electronics like I do), and best help. The entire area is kept EXTREMELY clean too. They also have a great program if you are military - they won’t throw your storage out if your payments cease! GREAT CORPORATE ETHICS!

So far, ive had nothing but a good experience with this location. Not like other places where they seem to have a problem with people loitering. I love that i have remote access to the gates and not have to get out of my vehicle to open the gates.
Having some problems with Elevator looks like they block 🚫 sometimes. This is early in the morning no staff available 6 to 9. Hope you guys make adjustments. For now I'll take my stuff for another drive. Thanks ✌️

This entire area has a collection of storage facilities. We stumbled upon this location and was met by Andrew. He showed us around and when we wanted to see other units, he happily showed us around. His straight to the point relaying of the information allowed us to swiftly make this our location. Rates were far better than others and the application proceeded which we did in our car was a a breeze. The facility and office are cleaned and well maintained also. Dont go elsewhere. Come here.

We stored our stuff here for over two years in a climate controlled 10x15 unit. During that time, we went from paying $285/month to $389/month. The same unit today is advertised for $233/month online. Would give this place 5 stars other than the highway robbery. Lots of units, clean, well-maintained, and I like the keyless entry system. Friendly staff. But a 35% increase in cost seems like a money grab from long term storage folks. When I scheduled a move-out, they offered me a discount on storage for 6 months. My coupon was about $35 which tells me... their profit margins are well-padded. Sure it's a month to month contract and you elect into it, but some things are just not right, like hiking the price over $100 more for the same storage space, because you know they're long term storage and it would be troublesome for them to move elsewhere. If you're planning on doing long-term storage here, plan for at least a 35% rate hike.

Trying to empty out my unit and as I get my first item out and the closes behind me then locks me out with my locker wide open inside and the keypad says closed. What if I had a kid that got left inside or set down my car keys and have to Uber home with my car open and couldn’t open the door to get my things and being a paying costumer can’t access at anytime like the outside units and no workers are ever there to help you with anything. I’m stuck waiting till 930 the next day like I don’t have a job or another day to just waste because I can’t at least close my storage door. Like why am I not told when signing up that I can only access my unit that I am paying for only during store hours.

Spoke to Alexis, Matt and Angelina earlier today. They were very helpful in solving the problem that I had with my account. All three were very nice and very courteous and were very patient with me and it was a rather pleasant experience with getting my bill paid and taken care of. It helps that this location was very helpful because I also work near this location and it's very convenient for me to stop in here and make a bill payment than what it is for me to try to get to my home location.

I hate the time change I've had this storage for almost 3 years now and the hours suck now since covid... I can never make it before they close on weekdays. Go back to the original times. Other locations close at 9pm for storage access. Thinking about canceling and moving elsewhere.

Ever since the hours changed from 9:00pm to 6:00pm during COVID, I have been very upset since I work full time & takes me over an hour to get back in the area. It is literally impossible for me to arrive before 6:00pm during weekdays. Just based on the new hours alone, I was prepping to find a different location that meets my requirements (cleanliness, climate control & later than 6:00!)
Recently, I had got off work early & decided to go by my unit since I urgently needed some things after a long vacation. When I arrived, everything was locked almost half hour early. I was about to get very upset (especially after cut hours & I was actually able to get there in plenty of time).
In the office, Kathrine immediately put me at ease. She was ready to help with a welcoming smile. If she is not a manager already, she definitely should be! She was helpful & kind, knew what she was doing. She answered my questions about my rates, etc. She was also great with another customer I saw her help w/ their issue before helping me. SO glad I choose this P.S. and not the Uhaul down the street (VERY rude service overthere) Denise was extremely kind, helpful and thorough. The place is well kept and secure. It was an absolute pleasurable experience all the through. I HIGHLY recommend this facility if you are looking for something in La Habra. Don't forget to reserve online to get better rates!!

Katherine gave me her best storage service today with a smile and great attitude and some friendly comical banter that I so enjoy. She is the real deal and would love to help you through your storage needs and transitions. This property is a big one and there are lots of options to choose from if they aren't already taken. Scoop up a move-in special and have a plan as time can get away from you. Know that move-in specials change from minute-to-minute, it's a supply and demand world, jump in when the deal feels right. Katherine will happily walk you through it!!

We received an increase notice that our 10 x 20 was going up to $460/mo $150 higher than the previous rate and $90 higher than the published rate. How is that possible. Facility is great, company is horrible.

Overpriced, rising prices every so often. Had my unit for over 2 years and it went up $43 within those two years. The biggest price spike wash this year, by $23. Had it for a few months before my first price increase. Not worth any long investment unless you have something worth more than the money you spend a year.
Also, just overall, never the best service.
I do not always write reviews but had to for sure this time. Katherine who works at Public Storage in La Habra was so helpful today. She went way Above and Beyond. She helped with clearing out storage for my sister whom I share storage with. Moving and lifting boxes in the heat is not easy, very uncomfortable, but she did not complain once.... She was patient and as sweet as can be! If I could give her 10 stars I would!
And without her help it would have taken much longer. Thank you, Katherine! You were a Godsend!

Wonderful facility & staff. I was having trouble finding a place to put my items but this place really takes the cake. The people there were super helpful & the lady up front Melissa was extremely patient as I had a LOT of questions. Five stars for me if definitely recommend.

James, the property manager is an awesome resource! This location had everything I could ask for- cleanliness, tech equppied, well lit rooms, and the staff went above and beyond when we were scrambling to find a location.

Wonderful experience using this public storage location! James, the property manager was a class act as soon as we walked through the door. He was patient, informative and guided us through the entire process of figuring out which size we needed. The facilities are super tech equipped, clean, well maintained lighting, and rooms. 10/10 recommend this location to anyone looking for their new storage needs. Not sure if there is cheaper places to go but this place fits the mold of safe and affordable storage. I recommend doing auto payment on your unit though.

I’ve had multiple storage units over the years and this location is my best experience ever. I made a reservation online and within minutes Melissa called me back. When I arrived she showed me the unit, explained everything and I was in and out of there in 20 minutes with my new unit! I highly recommend this place and ask for Melissa! She’s the bomb!!
Parked my semi in thelot after hours...bbq some brats and hung out until morning. No problems
