If I could put zero I would. Whomever they are letting run this location is a thief, noted in my account my unit looked broken into and. Ever told me. I only found out after I couldn’t get in the unit because there was a random lock that I was never notified about. Now I am missing boxes and nobody had answers. Please be ware of this

David: the manager of Public Storage is a friendly and has been extremely helpful. On a scale of one to ten, he is a seventeen! He guided me through the mobile app and made sure that the gate would open. At first the electronic gate would not open, then David went online and viola, the gate worked perfectly.

There are thieves and drug addicts living in the units selling stolen property and abusing the stray cats in the area all throughout the night. If you rent here they will watch you move your stuff in, and cut your lock open in the middle of the night and you will lose your personal belongings to scum of the earth to be sold off. I’m not sure if the owner is aware how late or what exactly happens here since they most likely leave around closing time. Hopefully this helps the owner open their eyes and see just how bad this situation has become. It needs to be handled. There are children’s bikes lined up in the alley and it breaks my heart. Terrible people.
Hi I'm Terrance and I just wanted to say that I believe my neighbor two houses down was gonna post a bad review and I just wanted the public to know that my neighbor is stark raving mad.He is obsessed with giving the hard working folks on the 24 hour side a bad time.Ive seen him throwing rocks at the people working at night over there and they just kind of laugh it off.They know he's crazy.I am sure he is the one on drugs.I've talked to Dave it is I believe ,the manager and he is absolutely the nicest young man.So no,no one is on drugs ,just hard working folk trying to earn a livin..Thank you for your time and I apologize for my neighbors conduct....Ter B

I own 3 storage units here and the staff is great. There is a clause in their policy that says that they will refund the money if we don't use their lock. Every single time I rent the storage here, I send a text message to the guy to let him know that we will be using our lock. and everytime they end up refunding the money promptly even before we remove their lock and give it back officially to them. Always on top of things and great communication.
The guy working there is super rude. We went there to rent a storage but the office was closed after a couple of minutes waiting the guy showed up and opened the office then I requested him to show us a 10’x10’ storage but he denied and said the picture is in the wall. Then I left and got a best deal the next place. The worst customer service here.

I have special needs when it comes to storing my things, but to say that David was more than helpful would almost be an understatement. Suffice it to say he went out of his way for me, and that's why I'm returning the hospitality. Came here during their business hours and they were closed. I just wanted to see the amount of space in person. Waiting in front of their door I called the customer service number and they couldn’t help me either, just transferring me around. So bad in person service and bad phone service. I’ll be looking elsewhere since apparently they already make enough money.
I can't say enough about this Public Storage and most importantly the manager, David. David is the absolute best Public Storage manager in Alameda County. I've rented storage units from Public Storage across the San Francisco Bay area and David is the one and only manager that delivers in every aspect. I've referred many people, friends, family, and coworkers and every single person loves the cleanliness and safety of the units. David is the reason for the success and reputation of the peralta location. I know he provides excellent service and support and will go far in his career with Pubic Storage. I support Davids advancement but want him to stay in his position for as long as I am renting because my experience with other management at other locations was horrific. David is a gem through and through!

Just terrible my rates have doubled almost in 5 years. From 244 to 478 a month. And they raised it twice this year. Greed and they are thieves this is how they treat you. Get an email today that the raising the rates again and they thank you for your being a customer. It wasn't a thank you email it was an FU. So beware they raise therates every year once sometimes twice.
I choose public storage majority because David. He is so friendly and responsive, very patient to answer all questions. I definitely recommend their service at this location.

.My experience with Dave was over renting a storage at his facility. I found Dave very responsive, detail oriented, and knowledgeable. It was early morning, and he probably was handling many other tasks at the time. But he acted as if this is his only item. Dave’s customer support is outstanding. Movers broke two large glasses and Dave provided me with cleaning material immediately. All and all it was my a pleasure dealing with Dave. He performed above and beyond the normal responsibilities and I was extremely happy with the outcome. Looking at his facility, it is spotless, all storages are accessible with no steps, elevator, long and narrow hallways. Clean facility always states that manager is in top of his responsibilities. His facility is shining as it was built yesterday!
Above all, Dave attitude was superb
Came in to see my new unit and found that I made a mistake in the size unit I needed. I went to the front desk for help and didn’t realize they had just closed. The gentleman leaving said that he wouldn’t mind helping me out anyways even though they were closed. They went way above and beyond to help refund me for the old unit, and then helped to find a better sized unit for my needs. They gave me my new unit on the spot and I was able to finish storing the items I came to drop off in the first place. It all fit perfectly! Highly recommend this place for the customer service alone. The actual place itself is great as well. Very clean. I’ve used several public storage facilities in the past and this is by far the friendliest and cleanest.
