Chris was extraordinarily helpful, patient, & kind, as I needed extra assistance accessing my unit. He had an amazing attitude always, & he was an absolute pleasure to interact with throughout my time renting a unit in Foster city :)
I paid for a full month, and after 2 days I was asked to leave because they said I was there after hours. No refund either. Management was rude too.

The on-site manager Chris spent a lot of time with me sorting out some access issues with my mobile phone and making sure that everything in my profile was up to date and that I got a refund for a lock I wasn't using. I appreciated his assistance. Good guy.
The storage service itself is fine, over time. The price of your unit tends to creep up, but that just means that occasionally you should probably move to a different unit if you've noticed that your needs have changed, and you will get an introductory price again. And you can ask them if there are any special offers on the current rate on your unit. I've used the storage for years, generally been happy.
Everyone was so friendly and helpful. It’s easy to get in and out of. Access through the app made it so easy to enter. Move-out was quick and easy. I would 100% recommend.

This 5-star review is long overdue. We've been renting our space at the Foster City Public Storage location for nearly four years. Our commitment started out as short term rental then "you know what happens"....yep LIFE happens.....and....wait for it......CHRIS happens. Chris, the Property Manager, is a cat's meow. The location is clean and safe, the bathroom is like a restroom in a Michelin star restaurant, and Chris is top shelf! Thanks for all you do Chris!
I want to give a huge shout out to Chris at the PS in Foster City. Unbelievable customer service. I highly recommend this particular storage unit to anyone. Chris was there from beginning to end to make sure I understood everything in the process. Although I was making this move on my own, he made me feel like I wasn’t alone in the process. And all of my stuff fit! I was totally stressing, but he kept encouraging me and he was totally right - everything turned out. Last day, I was exhausted, & he took the time to come out of the office and check on me. Customer service like that is rare. Thank you Chris. I’ll recommend you to anyone who asks.

I rented a unit here for a month while transitioning between homes. Not only is the facility well-organized and spotless, but the management is top-notch. Chris deserves special commendation for his impeccable management. Whether it was following up on my reservation, reminding me of the facility's open hours, or confirming my move-out, he was always prompt and professional. The dedication to customer satisfaction is evident.
Originally when I came to this location it was supposed to be temporarily because it’s out of my way. However, your employee, Chris, and his team have shown me the highest level of service I’ve ever received. He is the reason I stay at this location, even though it’s out of the way for me. You’ve got a jam on your hands. I’ve never seen such a clean, welcoming and well run storage facility.
Chris is super helpful and maintains this place very carefully. They have regular inspections to make sure your place is safely locked. Free locks are also provided.

I recently needed to rent a storage unit for a few months while I was in between homes. I did some research online and found Public Storage. I was really impressed with their website, which had a lot of helpful information about their facilities and services. I also liked that they offered a variety of unit sizes to choose from.

Edit: wrote this a long time ago after I first moved in. Moved out today and, yep, Chris was super nice and helpful every time I ran into him at the unit. Only thing close to positive about visiting a storage unit. Public Storage should give him a raise.
I used this storage for a month, while moving between apartments.
This is an amazingly convenient and well managed property. It was very private and secure. Chris was very quick to help me with an issue and was very professional throughout my experience here. He also followed up after noticing I had vacated and was able to quickly help me close out my account and get some money back, that I thought I had lost.
I'll definitely return here again for my storage needs.

Public Storage is a storage unit company that has many locations across the US. It's got easy access to get in, parking inside, and secure gates and doors. This location is right off the highway so it's easy to get to. Inside is really hot in comparison to outside weather so be careful what you store in there. The staff are super nice here and prices aren't too bad.

We went to our Storage Sunday afternoon 8/8/21, and Chris helped us with our needs such us handing out carts, and opening some doors to alleviate the heat and allow air into the hallways. Chris was very polite, friendly and helpful. Our experience was excellent. It made our storage move experience very comfortable. I recommend this Foster City Public Storage Location.
I rented a small storage unit here for around 6 months and had a great experience - moving in and out was super convenient, the space is clean and easy to access, and the manager was very helpful throughout the process.
I rented several units at this location over the years. It’s a wonderful location and I can’t say enough great things about the manager, Chris. I really felt safe at this location being in a well-trafficked area of Foster City (by McDonalds). Chris made several improvements to the inside and outside including security cameras and additional security on the doors. I loved being able to open the gate with the app and not getting out of my car! He would check on me when I came to my unit, but he was never intrusive and respected my privacy. He definitely made me feel safe and I tried to go when he or another employee was on duty. If you need a storage unit, this is a clean, brightly lit, friendly, and safe location.
