I can understand why folks may 'not have the time' to post a review of a storage facility. After all, renting storage space is pretty straight forward, right? Well, I have rented from different Public Storage facilities in the past, from up in the Bay Area while in college to the Valley here in L.A. a few years ago, and I have to say that the level of professionalism and courtesy that Leslie displayed in helping with my family's needs was impressive. She almost practically anticipated answers to questions I hadn't asked yet, and provided a variety solutions to best fit our immediate needs. She clearly knows the facility and the process very well, and that made the sense of urgency with my family's move that much easier. Couldn't be happier with the overall experience! Highly recommend them!
UPDATE: My original review was from 5 years ago, which is why I decided to return in Nov 2024 for the overflow of moving my business. Since PS went to an automated check-in (which went smoothly, btw), I guess corporate perception is that there’s less of a need to keep anyone on the property, like the problems that arise will just fix themselves. In the 12 days that I’ve had a 10x10 storage unit on the 3rd floor, the roll down gate was locked a half hour early which meant that the movers that I was paying by the hour had to go through a conventional door to move my large pieces of furniture. And today, the elevator to get to my unit on the 3rd floor isn’t working and the door to the stairs is locked… with no one on the premises to help with these issues, much less file a complaint about. I’ve been here an hour, and again, I had to send the contractor home who was going to put my banner on my newly moved business. After calling numerous PS numbers, I finally called PS Corporate to complain. I’ll keep you posted on how the District Manager handles this situation. Here’s a clip of everyone waiting around.

I appreciate the customer love you always show me. If there is anyone who is looking for a storage center to rent a storage unit from, I “ HIGHLY RECOMMEND “ going to “ Public Storage, located at 11510 Jefferson Blvd, Culver City, California “. Ask for Patrice , she is THE BEST. The property is extremely clean. Management really takes pride in keeping the property clean. The storage center is located in a very safe area. Public storage staff need improvements when it comes to customer service. I will focus on the personnel that went far and beyond to assist me. Patrice was clocked out when she came to my rescue on "code troubleshoot" . She went back, reset it, and gave me a new code, all after the facility had closed. Ashley helped me register over the phone, when the property manager told me "I can't do this over the phone". Public Storage ladies "You Rock!!! PS men, learn from these ladies. Patrice and Ashley should get a promotion, or at the very least, a raise.

Update to my review of a week ago... I am back at Public Storage and am happy to see a rolley cart. However, after speaking with the people in the office, I was told that there is only 1 cart at this location, where there used to be 4 carts. I really hope that there will be more carts in the very near future as this is a large and busy storage facility, and having only 1 cart is not nearly enough.
Older Review- a week ago-
Our company has 3 units of storage here. We have been here for over 10 years. We have never had an issue with this Public Storage locker location. They keep it clean and safe.
This past Saturday, we showed up to organize one of our lockers and we're informed that there was an issue with the main building entry area, by one of the unit renters. He had walked around the property and did say that he did not see any of the units behind, the security doors, compromised.
BUT, all of the rolling carts that everyone uses for our items were stolen. There were no rolling carts at all, so we weren't able to do the organizing that we had planned.
There were 2 young ladies that manned the desk, MANTZAand DAISY. They were great. They did a visual inspection of the property while we were there, they communicated what they knew to their customers so we were not in the dark and nervous about security. They were very, very professional. When we finally left after about 1.5 hours, they were reviewing the camera tapes and talking with the police. At no time, did anyone feel that we were in danger.
THANK YOU MANTZA AND DAISY FOR YOUR PROFESSIONALISM, YOU BOTH WERE/ARE AMAZING.

Addendum: Great place to store your belongings! All of the daytime crew is very helpful and knowledgeable, unobtrusive and respectful/respectable. I had an issue with the elevator, and magically...when they showed up it immediately started to work again! Sorcery? No, all in a day's work!
Thankfully, no issues since then, they had the elevator guy talk to the elevator gnomes about allowing people to elevate in order to alleviate the elves, who were all evading trolls.
Addendum: Daisy is the BEST!
So I went into this location because it's close to my house, I was looking for a storage and wanted to know prices and the girl I believe her name was Daisy behind the desk was rude and honestly felt like she didn't want my business. Her attitude was horrible she was no help at all. This move is already stressful enough. Over all bad experience, definitely going to another competitor.

This is an update! As of March 28, 2024. This particular facility’ would be great if it were supervised by people who actually cared about customers and employees. They are terrible! Tony Gradford, and Bilal are a major disappointment. Bilal tried to make me pay a $200 increase like I didn’t know they were only increasing the rent from $509 to $609. Gradford pretended to help me about the extremely bad customer service I endured from his regional managers. Then he began ignoring my phone calls and messages. Neither of the two could not even take a few minutes out the day and show appreciation for their employee who was making them look good. I never mailed a letter to corporate. I have yet to get any response or acknowledgment. This company is a sorry excuse for a business. And they RAISE YOUR RENT EVERY SIX MONTHS!! Don’t rent unit 2015. There is some sort of fluid leaking into the unit that they claim to not know where it came from. I believe it has happened prior to me renting the unit but they are acting as if it never happened. Do business with this company AT YOUR OWN RISK!!
I’ll tell you this. If it wasn’t for Daisy and Victoria, whom I met last year in September, I would not have had a good experience with this storage facility. Daisy has done an exemplary job by offering me stellar customer service! She’s gone beyond what was required to insure that I left the facility feeling happy that I chose this storage company to house me and my family’s belongings. Victoria accomplished the same thing last year when she went beyond what is required. Unfortunately, I endured a very terrible experience from THREE regional managers yesterday. They single-handedly put a sour taste in my mouth. I was treated in a manner that is worse than disrespectful. I felt like I was being bullied and harassed and low key intimidated by their titles and uncaring disposition. I thank GOD Daisy was there to help remove the ugly sting that the three regional managers, Myra, Julia/Julie and Baloc, caused. They were terrible examples of customer service. They’ve demonstrated what customer service should NOT be if you want to have a successful business. They also set a terrible example for their employee. After that horrific incident by the three regional managers. Daisy showed respect and consideration which caused me to not reconsider continuing to do business with Public Storage. Same applies to Victoria. Prior to meeting Victoria, last year, the customer service at this location was truly to be desired.

Daisy Mae Hernandez is the new manager of this location. And thank God she is. She proved to be a better replacement than the previous one, who was a guy. Unlike the previous one, Daisy is much more helpful, straightforward, knowledgeable and downright friendlier. I felt with the previous one, he was witholding information so you can say he's really not that customer service oriented. But with Daisy, you never have to think twice about getting the best deal and service with your transaction--- she is just that transparent! And I noticed that the restroom was clean and smelling good since she took over.
So if you want excellent service and someone whom you can trust to prioritize your needs, perhaps you should consider this place instead among others!

I just wanted to take time out to say that I've had ups and downs with this location, but overall the managers here have been so helpful and thoughtful.
Especially the current manager, Daisy. She was considerate as she assisted me in moving from one unit to the next. She helped with size options, price shopping, and even looked out for me the day of the move when she knew I needed a cart.
Her brand of customer service is the very reason people choose one company over another and Public Storage would do well to do everything in their power to hold on to her.

그래서 경찰에 신고전화를 했는 911 경찰은 끝내 오지 않았다.
7년간 사용하던 창고에 나에 가족 이사짐이 모두 들어가 있고 내가 평생을 수집한 물건이 다 있는 장소다 .
그런데 나를 들어가지 못하게 직원 마음대로 창고 열쇄도 뜯어내고 다른 좌물세로 변경하고 키는 나에 친형에게 1나의 열쇄만 전해주고 나에게
열쇠를 주지 말라고 했다.
내가 창고 대여비를 줄대는 고맙다고 하고 나에 물건 도난 신고를 하려고 물건을 감사 하다고
못하게 들어가지 못하게 한다.
경찰도 나에 이야기를 들으려고 하지 않는다.
도독놈 들과 같은 편이다.
경찰에 신고를 하고 경팔이 와서도 창고에 직원
에 이야기를 듣고 아무 말없이 그냥 간다.
내가 신고를 했는데 나에 몸 수색를 하고 나에
말은 듣지도 않는다.
말도 않되는 일이 발생했다.
세상에 이런 경우는 없다.
Eric is the rudest, smart mouthed, bitter person ever! He hates his job and it’s obvious. He’ll pick and choose who he’s courteous to and will even talk about other customers with the ones he’s cool with. Save your money go to the storage down the street.

Absolute worst experience with a storage company that I have ever experienced. I reserved a unit on June 1st for move in on June 6th. I arrive at the property on said move in date to sign the paperwork. There is no management on site and the doors were locked. I call the office with no luck of getting a hold of anyone. I waited over an hour at the location with another frustrated costumer. I finally get a call from a random number at 5pm later that evening. I missed the call and they didn’t even bother to leave a voicemail. I call back as soon as I figure out who called me. The lady on the phone THEN tells me that the storage unit I reserved is no longer available…. What? I ask why and she tells me that someone ELSE reserved the storage unit that I reserved DAYS ago. How does that even make sense???? She tells me it’s because they paid online and I chose the option to pay at the location on my move in date and says there is absolutely nothing we can do. What is the point of having the option to pay upon move it if it’s does not guarantee your reservation? You’d think that if I knew my reservation wouldn’t be guaranteed unless I paid online that I would have paid online. She couldn’t give me a straight answer and quite frankly, she sounded like she couldn’t care less. She then tries to up-charge me into renting a bigger unit for double the price of the original unit I reserved literally DAYS ago. So now I’m sitting here with ALL of my home belongings in a moving truck with absolutely nowhere to go because Public Storage didn’t uphold my reservation; which, to me, STILL makes absolutely no sense. I call costumer service and she is even shocked at the situation I am going through with this location. She gives me the phone number of the district manager in hopes to resolve the matter. I then call the district manger. She doesn’t answer either (no surprise there). I left a voicemail YESTERDAY and she has YET to return my call. So now, 24 hours have passed since I was supposed to get my unit and I am completely left in the dark on no fault of my own. I have never had such an unprofessional experience with Public Storage. This location needs to re-evaluate their reservation algorithm and, quite frankly, their employees. 0/5 stars if I could.
Clean, safe, nice facility. Friendly staff. Was happy here for over a year, with the occasional small rent hike. Then it jumped more than $100, to over $400 for a 5'x15' space. I moved to a facility down the street, where I'm paying less than $175 for roughly the same size unit. On the last day I looked up online a 5'x15' at this exact Public Storage; $230.
So if I moved out, and moved back in as a "new" customer, I'd save around $200.
Public Storage as a company has no loyalty to their long-term customers.

Daisy is amazing! She is the person who will greet you, check you in and hand you the keys to your unit. She went above and beyond for us and even found us a better deal and space for us. We only wish we can store our things at her location just so we can experience her amazing customer service! You’ll be happy you chose her location.
Eric was extremely courteous, helpful, and personable. When I called he was so helpful and walked me through how to get the online rental completed. He helped me get all set up and even showed me to the unit. Great guy definitely recommend this location to others.

오피스는 오후5시 까지 손님은 그이상 사용이 가능하다고 이야기 했는데도 아니라고 특유의 액션를 하면서 신경질을 냈다.
그래서 나는 일를하지 못하고 나와야 했다.
난 911에 신고를 하고 차별아닌 차별을 받았다. 경찰은 사무실로 가서 시간을 확인하고 저 가드에 말이 맞다고 했다.
그동안 이용 시간이 변경됐나 ! 아니면
직원이 사기를 쳤나 의심 뿐이다.
그래서 경찰이 온김에 나는 한가지 더 부탁을 했다.
내용은 작년에 이곳 장고중에 작은것을 더 렌트하려고 했는데 다른 누군가가 나에 이름을 사용해서 창고를 랜트 중 이였다.
그 사람은 내가 살고있는 아파트 매니저의
남편입니다.
나는 신분도용을 받고있다고 하면서 확인을 해주세요.
경찰은 다시 사무실로 들어가서 직원에게 물어보고 나와서 나에게 그런일은 없다고
했다.
그럼 또 직원이 경찰에게 거짓말을 한 것이다....
할수없이 나는 뒤돌아서 집으로 온 기역이
난다....

While I am frustrated with the near doubling of my fees last year by Public Storage, I am giving a great review to this facility because of the property manager Leslie. And yes, I realize that the pricing comes from the corporate rather than the facility; but it is hard to separate the two.
Personally and professionally, I have been renting from this Public Storage periodically over the last 20 years; my ex-wife and I had a retail website. But only under Leslie's management have I received a courtesy call to prevent late charges from being placed on my account.
Leslie is professional and explains the policies and the rationale behind them. She provided me with account alternatives as potential cost savings, and when I complained about the fees doubling, she requested to lower my expenses.
If there were a professional courtesy that Leslie could extend to me as a manager, she would offer it. It made all the difference as I was dealing with divorce, litigation, and the closing of my business.
Another point: I received incorrect information from other employees because they made assumptions about my accounts based on company policies. Leslie always looked at my accounts before advising me; therefore, her direction was always correct.
If you want to be taken care of, ensure you know when Leslie is available.

the elevator was out for 2 days. there was no alternative offered except to carry your storage boxes up the steps which is completely unacceptable. so I left my stuff in the hallway. I told her about it when I left and the next day she told me she was going to have it thrown in the trash.. I mean go figure. not only did they not have monkeys to carry things up and down the steps for people waiting but the people that did work there would take a two-hour lunch break, close the office so two days out of three that I went, there was no one there . they were not cooperative n o r helpful. anybody with an elevator can get it fixed the same day we all know that so this storage place..... let me drop up there and give it a it's got a one you don't want to come here
The place is always clean. Leslie is an amazingly competent, friendly and responsive property manager. She has made my storage experience one that I have enjoyed.

I have been a customer here at Public Storage in Culver City for a long time and I have not met anyone like Leslie.
She mirrors what true customer service is all about. She is kind, extremely knowledgeable about the services. She'll bend over backwards for the customer. She treats me like I'm a family member. To be honest, i don't like the price that my unit has gone up but the reason I'm still here is mainly because of Leslie. I know that my possesions are in good hands, not to mention, the facility is always clean.
She should have been promoted long ago. She should be getting bonuses every quarter. Once my business scales up, I'm going to offer her a job and she'll be able to work remotely as well.
Public Storage needs to appreciate this employee if they are not.

Leslie who works there is fantastic. I needed to complete an account ownership handoff - and she made this process simple and efficient. She is accommodating to our moving trucks, which is appreciated. She takes great care for the way the facility is operating.
We've had the best experience with this location! Leslie has always been very flexible when it comes to our moving trucks, not only with accommodating space for them but also gracious about the time it's taken us to move things in and out. They also were very quick to notify us of a possible security issue with our unit. Everything turned out to be okay, but I really appreciated their transparency.
Incredible service by manager Leslie. Needed to rent a unit very last minute and she was so helpful in securing the right size unit that very day. Also huge help when I needed access to a dolly after the office was closing for the day. All around top notch service and secure location. Very easy to work with and would definitely recommend!

I was moving stuff through my unit, and coincidentally I saw Robbie who i previously saw working at another facility i rent at in inglewood. He was as helpful as he was before. Property is still well run as always
Starting with the setting up the phone call initially then Leslie had called me up to confirm asked me if I had any questions and since this is contact with she asked me if I liked to meet and I go over any questions or concerns I may have or we can just talk about it on the phone.
Why decide to meet with Miss Leslie because I want to know who's watching over my stuff. So less than I set up appointment for Sunday today at 3:00 p.m. and she was here waiting for me 3:00 p.m. Sharp she showed me by the facility she gave me option she showed me at three units explained the pros and cons as far as not so much cons but just things to look out for in a good way.
Unless it was very professional and I appreciate that she wanted everything detail for detail again that's professionalism and she gave me options which I love options are a wonderful thing. So yes my overall experience with public storage and Leslie was A1 thank you Leslie

I just want to say that I've been storing my things for quite sometime and every time I come Leslie has been so helpful, so pleasant, and makes a point of saying hello and if there's anything I need or can help me with.
