Amazing experience with this public storage, great price point for me and exceptional service with any problems I had. 2024/10/16 @115pm was helped out due to app problems and the front desk helped me out immediately and gave me a backup option in case I had problems later on.

Mike the best very helpful than you public storage
Mike, that they are mentioning here must be new. My experience here is that my unit was emptied of pretty much everything (stolen) and I had to return 3 times because no employee was ever in the office or returned my call to get the lock the thieves put on after they broke in cut off.
In 2 years my monthly cost has doubled from the initial starting price. There are no cameras or theft prevention in the corridors or on the units. If you don’t mind your belongings being stolen a good place to go.
Mike is great! This is the best storage experience I have had. Usually they are pretty awful. Mike helped me and stayed in touch with me throughout this process. I’ve been here for 4+ years and it’s clean. No rodents. Only issue is, like all storage unit companies, they raise the rents often. So don’t plan on leaving items for a long time.
Just moved from the East Coast to San Diego and needed storage until we get the house all settled and Mike at Public Storage took care of everything storage related and annd told me about the area I felt extremely welcomed. True professional and courteous, I recommend this facility and Mike to anyone who has storage needs!

I recently signed up with Public Storage and have been having a fantastic experience so far, mostly thanks to the property manager, Mike. He is incredibly helpful and personable, which I didn’t find in the staff at other storage places. One time, we didn’t lock our unit properly, and Mike noticed it right away. I have used Public Storage for a while now and transferred back from across the country to San Diego. The unit was ready, clean, and the manager assigned my unit as close to the elevator as possible, which was much appreciated. The only drawback is that the elevator has to be unlocked via keypad every trip up (good for security however). Maybe the app could be integrated with access for the elevator like the gate, which is a great option. Reasonably priced for climate controlled storage too.
I have been at Public Storage only a short time and had already made plans to leave because of a decision made regarding my rent. Mike, the local property manager took the initiative to get a resolution to my issue. Within hours of his taking action the issue was resolved and resulted in a far better result that I ever thought it would. Mike came through in a big way and only because of him, I am still a Public Storage client. Thank you, Mike!

When i wanted to leave, there was a new staff, not nice, not polite, the rent got much higher without any notice and more important than that, there was no air there, and breathing was not easy.

She is by far the best property manager here and I have been a long time customer here for over 6 years. She is very smart, thorough, and so very polite. My spouse and I have a unit at this location and it has been broken into two times over the past five years, No one is ever in the office! They broke into a ton of other units on the same floor as well it looks like they were going to empty me out because they prepared all of our belongings by stacking them all up but ended up leaving half of some of our clothes and shoe boxes stacked up on the side, Maybe somebody scared them off, who knows? But unfortunately the insurance that we are required to have does not cover any of our clothes! Insurance says they don’t cover any shoes clothing jewelry or any personal goods and without a receipt they won’t cover any losses without the receipt. Our TV was $4000 and I don’t even want to get on the Bose system that was stolen. But insurance capped out at $5000 maximum in coverage costa they would be willing to cover. We are literally speechless and beyond angry. We are completely devastated. We asked to see the footage but they said we could not look at the security cameras and that an officer would have to do so and the officer doesn’t know what he’s looking for so this is not even being taken serious by the police. In the future take inventory of everything that you have and if it’s something that is extremely precious to you do not put it in this facility keep it with you or put it in a bank. Period.

It was super easy to reserve and pay for our unit online, that already gave me a good feeling about the company.
The app works great to gain access through the gate, easy contact less access.
Once I got there, I couldn't figure out where my unit was lol so I asked the gentleman at the front desk for help. Wish I would had asked for his name, he was really friendly, great customer service skills, he not only told me where it was, he walked me over and told me the little shortcut for faster access once inside (side exit door that leads right to the parking spot).
Units are clean, climate controlled and security cameras in the areas.
Overall, I feel great storing my belongings here.

I visited public storage on Mira Mar public storage. I live a little ways away, but chose to store with the mira mar because they had great reviews and they truly live up to the reputation. Please beware. My sister’s storage was broken in, thousands of dollars worth of stuff was stolen. “24 hour surveillance” and you have to have a code to enter elevators to get to your floor but there were no surveillance footages. Large items were taken. Washer, dryer, Craftmans tool chest & many more items. How can large items like that be stolen that easily? Inside job? Customer service was awful. My family had a house fire & had to have their stuff stored until they found another home. Do you understand how difficult it is to go through a house fire and then have your stuff stolen but they showed no sympathy. Lady at the desk was nonchalant & could careless. Had so many excuses when asked about surveillance footages. They also had insurance on their unit but it turned out to be useless. Things like this do happen but how they handled it was horrible.
