Not good at all never a manager to talk if you need help prices are crazy only after 3 months the price jump from 99dll to 345dlls crazy
Due to no FORCE ENTRY my claim was denied & stuff was stolen, make sure yall covered it up all the way with concrete or a metal sheet.
In a rush had to find a place fast to move my stuff out, got a big storage unit, didn’t think much threw everything in there. But when I had to get my stuff out, I couldn’t find my stuff, then I notice big pieces of concrete loose all around the edges of the unit. I walked around & notice some units unlocked, I went inside & the edges were broken pieces of concrete. Then I saw a guy speed walking pass by. I address the concern to the manager, she rolled her eyes and said she knew the guy. So much for security cameras being gated if allowing a lot of foot traffic & unlocked storage units.
I was forced to get insurance and they denied the claim because there was NO FORCE ENTRY!!!
Someone might be stealing a lot of stuff that people are unaware of. Great business for storage keep it up guys

signed up online, when I realized how hard it would be to get a trailer to my unit I called the front desk and asked for an different one. the guy said I could move no problem then later said I had to come into the office for some paperwork. when i finally came in he tried to get me to sign a contract and had significantly raised the price with out saying a word about it. when i confronted him about it he said that there was nothing he could do and he would have someone reach out to me no one ever called.

I called for pricing at several locations and when I called the S Congress location I got Jenne on the phone. She was extremely helpful and kind. We had a great conversation and she helped me out with a couple of other questions regarding the Austin area. I will definitely use this facility when I’m ready to store my belongings.
Unfortunately in this day and age common courtesy and kindness are often not too common. So when I had tons of questions about which unit would best fit my needs etc. I was blown away by the knowledge and patience Jenne the property manager showed me. She could've just given me the answers and went about her busy day but instead she made sure to take her time and make sure I felt comfortable with my choice. I wish more people in customer service were as professional, capable and accommodating as this lovely young woman. I do rent a storage here is the most inefficient pepole working here there is NEVER A MANAGER O EMPLOYEE AT THIS LOCATION and a homeless pepole is ALWAYS in this property vandalizing the gate and is never someone AVAILABLE for emergency i see rats ALL OVER THE PROPERTY BCZ THE HOMELESS RENT A STORAGE UNIT AND FEEL THEM UP WITH TRASK ,, THE MOST HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

This company is Horrrible. They have been calling me for 4years after I have told them they have the wrong number!! Clogging my answering service! They refuse to connect me with their Manager. I have called the Coporate office and didn't get a resolution, they just connect me with another location. When I finally got the location on the phone, her explanation was that "this is the only number we have." Thus is the wrong answer and very unprofessional. Most places verify who your are with 100 questions.......I'm sick of this Company!!

As a former property manager I can say that this is a terrible place to work and an even worse place to store your things. If you don’t mind rats, roaches, and other bugs due to people storing trash in units or your rates going up %20 every 3 months after moving in or even the homeless people living on the property and possibly breaking in to your unit then this location is for you. The longer you store with them the more you are punished because the rates continue to increase the longer you stay. Public storage does not care about you or your belongings they just want your money!

OMG! I finally got a real person to help me!! SUSAN was absolutely amazing and so kind! After much frustration with the web site, the chat assistant AND no real person at the Ben White PS location, I decided to risk another PS and found a car at the South Congress location. I went in and Susan was just AWESOME!! I've been with PS for over 25 years and it's been a long time since a staff person treated me with respect and kindness...THANK YOU SUSAN, BLESS YOU!!
This location is absolutely horrible for the price that is charged. One way in and out is very dangerous. Moving about the premises is horrendous, barely any room to move vehicles. The unevenous of the streets makes it hard to load vehicles. Public Storage should be band doing business in Texas. They continually raise rent without any notice. Will never rent from them again.
I would love for Susan to call me to talk about the water damage in my unit and the rude woman I spoke with in her lobby.

This place is disgraceful in the way they conduct business. I only had my belongings in their unit for TWO WEEKS and when moving out, noticed vermin feces, damaged property, etc. I called their facility to notify them of their vermin infestation. They were aware of the issue and stated there’s nothing they can do. When I suggested to notify surrounding units to mine, they stated, “We don’t want to scare the tenants with potential rodents notices”. So please be aware they have a rodent infestation that will damage your property, and they are just taking your money and don’t care about your belongings.
Go Susan! Not only was this awesome property manager polite and friendly, this whole experience was super simple by how informed the information was. I was able to have my account set up before I even left the store and my units ready to move in! Thanks again, Susan for your wonderful customer service!

I haven't had a great experience here. I call and don't speak to anyone at the property. I get the answering service which usually aren't that helpfull with the questions I had. That's happened everything I call no matter what time of day.
I recently went into my unit this past weekend and was so disappointed and disgusted to see rat droppings all over the unit floor and they had urinated on my things. I haven't even been at this storage a year and the unit price is now going up again in January to 259.00. I really think for the money I pay for the unit there should not be rat droppings and urine all over my unit. I came out of my unit feel absolutely disgusting because of the amount of droppings I came in contact with just trying to get my Christmas decorations. I felt like I immediately needed to shower when I got home and still haven't brought my stuff in the house for fear of what kind of critters I'll be bringing inside and possibly infesting myself with mice and whatnot and spread that to my neighbors. I don't think I plan on staying here due to the rat droppings and urine, the rent increase and the location of the property which isn't as convenient as I thought it would be.
The bolt on my unit is defective and I have to call a locksmith and buy a new lock to access my unit EVERY single time. The property manager said fixing the broken bolt on the door is my responsibility. Be careful, they will give you a defective unit and put the responsibility on you to get it fixed.
I hired movers today and had to pay them for an hour of their time and reschedule my move after driving in from another city.

They both made the application very simple for a first time storage unit user. Public storage has amazing representatives with these 2.
Don’t store here. All though it’s a business you may get behind a month they will be ready to auction your unit. I had my money ready to pay late fees and everything and my unit was auctioned lower than what I owe. Much lower.

Sucks for long vehicles, many of the guard poles on the corners are plenty bent out of shape. So remember, tight corners, Come out the way you came in and you'll have room. Go to the far end and try to loop around? Askin for a fender bend...
Other than that the staff is wonderful and their online deals are fantastic!!!

My experience with public storage has been extremely excellent. Susan has been one of the best managers I’ve ever talked to.
Not only is she so welcoming on the phone, and always shows respect when you talk to her, she also goes above and beyond to make sure everything on your account is right.
She noticed something off with my account and took it upon herself to make sure it got fixed, and wow it was not only fixed she also is trying to make sure that the other issue is resolved as well.
I couldn’t ask for anyone better than Susan, I know she understands that whenever she calls me and I don’t answer it’s either because I’m asleep or on the road driving my mixer. But when she does get that call through and I do answer or call back it’s always a blessing to hear such a well spoken and thoughtful voice on the other end.
Thank you Susan for being such a kind person and being that helpful person you are.

Louie and Meranda were great. They were very understanding of my moving situation. They made it work to accommodate me to the best of their abilities. The prices at the storage unit were way beyond reasonable. They were very clear about every single aspect of the unit. They went over points with me if I needed explanation. Louie is the best. I had some trouble with my moving company and had to cancel and make new reservations at their request. Louie was very understanding and helped me sort things out when I was in tears from this other moving company who was treating me poorly. Very grateful.

This is the best experience I've ever had with a storage facility. My family and I are moving to Austin from Colorado and we have multiple households needing different options and Tarah helped me with everything. We're excited out our new life in Texas, but it's been a logistics nightmare. I'm thankful that she was able to streamline things for us and make our storage situation one less thing we had to worry about.
I have come to make payments and I came twice in one day and the office was closed, I'm very unhappy with the management but they are quick to charge me late fees and when I go to make payments early on lunch break or after they aren't available.
The online move-in experience went well. Everything was ready when I arrived. Have since met the manager and staff. Friendly and courteous. Property is well maintained and clean. Gate works perfectly. Happy with my choice.

Without proper notice via mail or phone call-this location decided to charge me three times my rent amount.
They continue to act like they notified me that my rent was increasing to $63 from $21 .... Where in the hell is that considered normal??
Tried to call the location and the manager Louie was not cooperative in any way and continue to lie while we were on the phone.
