Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 23155 Morton Ranch Rd, Katy, TX

No matter what time your here front office is never open noboby is ever here. One of the most trash storage you can ever go too. Elevators are always broke since they can’t afford to fix them correctly and also 2 moving carts throughout the entire building SMFH.

I met Elvira when I went in to get another storage unit. I noticed she was a new face. She really new her stuff and helped me out. Found out she is from another store. Wish she could be at that store permanently. She was very helpful. Her customer service was great.

Chase Was very helpful when I was moving into my unit, he answered all my questions and was very pleasant to deal with. For short term storage this place is ideal.

The Storage Unit I rented for the past few month's was for the most part very good experience, slight issues but they were resolved quickly. Easy to access and easy to move things in and out of the unit. Chase L. was very helpful with the whole process and the 5 stars are for his follow up.

Chase is nice but public storage is a scam. I’m a full time student who rented a 7.5x10 for 114 a month. 3 months in they tried to increase to 135 or something. Chase was able to keep my rate the same with an approval from the company. Now it’s 6 months into me renting and the rate is increased again to 151 a month and chase informed me the company declined to help me with my rate because they already have. The only solution offered to me was to move all my stuff to a different unit. Just bogus. Don’t rent from public storage unless you want to be milked for money. Company doesn’t care even if you’re customer like me who always pays on time despite being a full time student with low income.

My unit 1106 flooded after heavy rain and damaged all my things. Management didn't seem to care because I had insurance. The insurance gave me 1/3 of the actually used cost because of "depreciation." Took me and my wife 4 months to contact management of this building again to leave because I work 70 hours a week downtown and my wife takes care of the 3 kids so it's really hard to find time. Anyways management didn't seem to care I paid 4 more months of the damaged unit and said they wouldn't refund my 5th month when I'll be getting my things out. It's whatever just thought I would warn people.

Chase was incredibly helpful getting me into my unit after I got the key stuck. He is always more than willing to help

We have been in our unit 10x15 unit for exactly one year. We started at $135 a month and have had our rates increased three times.... we are now expected to pay $230 a month for a unit I can get online for $135.....

This place is garbage, before it was Public Storage the price was a lot lower, now is a rip-off I start paying around $55.00 a month and now I am $160.00. And I don't know how this kind of business survive.

I like the installations but in my 3rd month they raise my rent 50% so I am taking all my stuff out. becareful when you start renting and ask them for how long is gonna be your rent because at the beginning is real cheap but then te chingan

Public Storage is quick to raise rental fee’s! Another issue is that people need to pay close attention to the rental contract you are signing. It stipulates in the contract that you can store no more than $5k worth of stuff in the unit you are renting. You have to sign a contract stating the stuff you are storing is not worth more than $5k. Once you sign their contract, if insured, you will never get more than $5k if your stuff is stolen. Also, they do not prorate your rent upon move out, which is just one more way they rip their customer’s off. We have used storage facilities for 12+ years & we have never had a facility raise our rent or limit the value of what we place in storage and they all prorated upon move out. PUBLIC STORAGE IS NOT THE PLACE TO USE FOR YOUR STORAGE NEEDS!

This place is a rip-off! I rented a 20' X 30' storage unit back in August of 2022. The price was $254.00. December of 2022, price increase to $315.00. August of 2023 increased again to $416.00! May of 2024, price increase again to $512.00! They never had a problem with my payment. So this is how they take care of good customers. I shut off the auto-pay and I am in process of finding another storage unit. DONT USE PUBLIC STORAGE!

I was here all day my phone died so I couldn’t get so went to the front no one was there for an hour and I I came back I try leva cause it want let you go up the elevator a 9 even if your already inside before the 9:00 pm no access I’m stuck in here and I half asthma and I cold nose running and can’t even leave cause the exit gate want open this is so ridiculous and I will never rent her again t and I have work a 500 in the morning

Chase is one of the best employees, I have experienced at public storage. They need more like him, and I have seen a bunch of them. If a company is looking for it, chase is that guy.

I had to move to larger units a couple of times while I was renting at this location. The property manager (Chase) is always helpful and responsive. He worked with me and made sure I knew when and how to switch units. Chris has also been helpful and responsive to questions. Both Chase and Chris are very pleasant to work with!!!

Went to my storage to pay my bill but no one was inside even though it was before 6pm. Anyway went to Morton ranch public storage to pay. Bearded guy was very helpful and I got my bill paid. Yeh I know u can pay online but I'm ole school. Go in and pay and get a paper reciept. Yes I know they email u a reciept😂

Everytime I go there’s no carts on the first floor. So since I rent on the first floor I’m not allowed on any of the other floors to look for a cart. So I have to go to the front each time so they can help find a cart for me to use. They are kind enough to help with that but the issue is I shouldn’t have to do that everytime. If you rent here STOP putting carts in your storage and be kind enough to bring downstairs. Your walking past the first floor exits to leave anyway. So what’s hard about bring the cart with you for someone else to use?!? I shouldn’t have a cart issue when there’s only one other person moving their stuff. There’s a total of 8 carts I’m told. I’ll volunteer to make sure there’s carts where they go and check units for carts if the property manager can’t find an employee to do it. I highly recommend they start charging the people putting the carts in their storage. Charge them the cost or half of the cost of the cart as penalty if they are caught putting into their storage. And after 7 days if not returned charge again. They’ll either learn to stop doing that or you’ll have enough profit to buy more carts.

This was my first time using a storage unit and Chase was very accommodating with my needs.

All the good reviews here are B.S. I have had bad history with Public Storage before and why I never rent from large corporations like Public Storage. I started with Community Self Storage a well respected locally owned company. My rent started out at $98.00 per month. Once Public Storage took over they immediately raised my rate to $104.05, not a huge increase but typical for Public Storage. 4 month later they raised my rate to $142.00, Now they are raising my rate to $182.00 but offering new tenants the original rate of $98.00. There is never anyone at the office to speak with. You can never find a cart in the facility anymore, and there is always trash laying around in the halls and the east gate has been broken for a while now. When I contacted there customer service I was told if I did not like it then maybe I should find another storage facility then he hung up on me. That's what they do, they get you in and after all your hard work to move your stuff in, they start with the rate increases.

I hate having to pay this bill, but the location that I went to to pay it, gave me a very pleasant experience. I unintentionally went just before the store closed and Drell was so kind to me and even gave me information that I had inquired about not only for the store she was working, but also for other stores. Drell was patient, kind, and went above and beyond her work duties. I hate having to need a storage unit outside of my current living space, but Drell has made it a bit easier and because of such I will continue to use this business for my storage needs.

I had an issue with the public storage company. Once the owner of this storage facility discovered I was unhappy they called less than 24 hours later. The district manager called me to to see how they can work on the problem. They really came across as wanting to help make sure this issue is something that does not happen to anyone else especially any one down on their luck. I felt heard and they thanked me for showing a concern that they would bring up to the company and see if any changes can be made. This particular storage facility has people that really care to help.

Be careful with this place, signed up for monthly storage and then cancelled 1 hour later. They processed to change me a$29 fee.

I wish i could give a 10 star review. I Went over because I was looking for a storage box to fit a large item,after going to several places and didn't get a right size. I met Nakiema (I hope I got her name right) and she was an angel. She was so helpful and professional. Made sure my item fit into the box,gave me a free box,and when i was about walking out with the box she quickly rushed to open the door for me. Your act of kindness and service is really amazing.

Do not rent from here unless you want to waste your time & your money. Doors are always locked and no one is ever inside to assist. Then they call you and lie. Have not been able to access my unit in over a month.
