Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 2425 Canton St, Dallas, TX

I have had this storage for years. Actually, Public Storage is the 3rd or 4th company that has taken over this building since I've been a customer. Maria has always gone above and beyond to assist me with anything I needed help with. Always with a smile and patience. Maria is a great asset to Public Storage culture and customer service experience. Thank you Maria! 🌞

First of all, the management is great here! Maria and Delia are amazing people who are super helpful! Especially if you accidentally lock yourself in a unit when the door is stuck on a couch! Keep that in mind, do not go inside to check what the door is stuck on haha

Public Storage leases to individuals online without ever meeting them or requiring them to visit the on-site office. Multiple individuals have been observed living in units against city ordinance. When reported to staff, they express zero concern and acknowledge it happens due to the company’s online leasing methodology. With that, Public Storage willingly and knowingly leases commercially zoned property to individuals for residential purposes, and they do nothing to address the security concern of actual lessees. They advertise business hours but allow individuals access to the facility around the clock. I am very disappointed. I reported 6 different individuals on foot in 30 minutes to Maria in the office and she says there is nothing she can do.

Wow. Advertise $180 / mth. For their best customers you’ll be at $800 / mth before you know it!!! Buyer beware. Then trying to get help. Off shore customer service that can’t and won’t do anything. Existing customers check your bills!! New customers find someone else. Terrible. Terrible customer service and experience. Surely this is illegal in this day and age!!!

I was looking for a new storage unit and left my name and number on they website last night. Nancy called me to see if I was still interested and we worked a time out for her to show me a unit today. She was very nice and this place is very secure! Nancy also told me that they do a walk through everyday to make sure nothing has been vandalized, broken into etc. This is the most secure storage facility that I've seen! If you want a storage unit that is secure and the people who work there are super nice then don't hesitate and get you one at public storage asap!

Helping my brother move this week was a breeze with the help of Marie at Public Storage! She was so helpful with picking the best unit for us and making sure the transfer was easy and efficient. Great customer service and the units are always clean and secure!

Nancy was an absolute pleasure to work with. She helped me find the right storage for my needs and allowed us a tour of the units. She answered several questions and gave us a peace of mind. Every thing I was looking for was founded today to ensure the safety of my belongings inside a storage that has triple security.

Maria and Nancy are super nice front desk clerks. I had a dilemna about my lock, and they were quick to help me with a solution. Whatever help I needed they were efficient and so helpful. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because parking is too tight especially when moving trucks are parked as well.

I would like to say thank you Mrs. Nancy for being so helpful and helping me out with my leasing agreement, explaining everything to me. Showing me the unit, the 'property' the grounds are very well tooken care of 'clean' and most of all, being nice friendly and courtesy, I really do appreciate it thank you! Parking is comparable to a drive-through at a fast food restaurant. Except, most times moving trucks are blocking the key box to where you cant even do that; drive-through. When bought by public storage in November 2023, traffic at this awfully laid out facility increased significantly. Worsening an already bad problem. Cant get in this place, can't get out. Whats worse, I signed up in September for $86 and my rent is scheduled to increase a whole $27 at $113, 5 months after signing up on February 1. Throw away the $1 deal to keep prices fair monthly. I cant afford $27 increases every 5 months (more than 2 increases annually) as i need storage long-term. The money will obviously not be going to the employees as raises, and obviously not toward parking improvements. In fact, they should give me $27 each month for having to deal with this headache-of-a-place to access. Theres absolutely no convenience of this place other than its downtown. Also, homeless people sleep in this place. Sometimes i arrive and dont even go inside the building because homeless and suspicious looking people are already lingering inside. Which i dont expect when i dont see vehicles outside. Its actually pretty scary. So i come to this place and am inconvenienced even further just by coming and not going inside to do what i came to do. I hate this phically poorly structured place/location, and also public storage in general. Both are nuisances.

Five stars to Alex, who is amazing. Every customer facing person in the world should have his people skills. He made even the simple job of paying the bill pleasant, entertaining, and informative. He's a real professional, and it shows. Thank you for a terrific experience. I know that no matter what, he'll take care of any issue that may arise. Well done, and thank you again!
