Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 10931 Research Blvd, Austin, TX

The facility is always clean, and the staff are very helpful and friendly, but for the last 3 years the facility has consistently had maintenance issues with the elevators, doors, and a lack of carts every time I visit. At this point 2 of the doors aren't working and they are down to 2 carts across the entire facility. People are frustrated having to carry items one at a time to their cars. It is unfortunate that the carts are being taken, but the cost of replacement should likely be anticipated. Also, they could potentially put some "Tile" trackers on them.

Breana was super helpful in fixing discrepancies on my account and they are always available to help. Highly recommend!

Hope you don’t need to go to the office, like if your account gets messed up in their system rendering the app unstable. Hope you don’t need access to your unit either! Because there’s never anyone in the office or answering the phone.

We had a storage locker here, and had a really great experience. We hired u-pack for a long distance move and the staff at Public storage were amazingly helpful when the trailer and movers came to move things out of our storage unit. Emilio was especially helpful in making moving out of our storage locker an easy experience. Highly recommend this place!!!

Rented a space in December for two weeks and paid for two months, the minimum which is the policy here. After scheduling move out date online, receiving written confirmation of final payment and move out, I am getting calls from a collection agency. I have receipts, email confirmations, credit card records, but no one is ever in the office and no one returns the calls. Have left multiple messages with the corporate office, too. This place may be a fraudulent operation. Don’t leave your things here, you’ll regret every minute, even after you are gone.

We have been renting for our business here for over 2 years. When we don't need any assistance it does what we need it to do but anytime we need someone, there is no one available in the office. Our gate code has a pattern of not authorizing access and we therefore cannot access our unit. The phone number to the office doesn't get answered (currently 10am on a Friday), the 1-800 number disconnected me 4 times today without getting past authorizing my account and the chat feature has taken over 30 minutes asking about authorizations of info on our account. Unfortunately very inconvenient for any reason, but this puts us behind our work schedule.

The office is never open and there is never anyone on site. The gate is often broken and I’ve had to call to get my entry code fixed twice now. No on-site support from manager or any employees. Bathrooms were closed about half a year ago and never reopened. It is “temp controlled” but actually gets about 55-85 degrees winter to summer. Would not recommend.

The management is amazing the woman who's been working there for multiple years helped me every step of the way I have a disability and it can sometimes make people uncomfortable around me she was so helpful and patient it's a great place very safe extremely clean very lucky I found it. They even helped me with my puppy when I was getting so overwhelmed just amazing.

The staff at this Public Storage has always been friendly and informative. I often am traveling away from Austin and they make every effort to be accommodating of the occasional special need.

Great experience due to Timothy. He is awesome. Unit need swept. He jumped on it! Rainy. We needed to throw away some stuff. Timothy went out of his way to help us put it in their dumpster. 300 yards away. He unlocked it right away for us. Then we needed help on the lock system, and he was so helpful. Perfect. If you need storage go see Timothy at public storage on research Blvd in Austin! He is awesome! Best experience ever at a storage facility.

DON'T RENT IN THIS LOCATION! If I could give negative stars I would. First thing, I rented a unit that was supposed to be "a dollar" 1st month deal, it indeed was not a dollar. Came out to over $40 due to "fees" Second they never have anyone available on site for help. The gate is always broken so you cant access it when you please. They lie about things to get you to rent for longer than expected and make it hard for you to cancel. 0/100 would not recommend.

I was gonna go to another location on research Blvd, but the rental office was closed when I got there. Couldn’t contact anyone. So, I went to this location. Zaida was so helpful, and she found me a perfect unit for me- perfect in terms of size and location (mine has a convenient location). Made a reservation right after the tour. Thank you, Zaida!

I had some issues upon moving in but the district manager personally called me twice to fix the issues and make things right. I am impressed with the professionalism and how he strived to ensure I was a happy customer.

I've never had a storage unit before until getting one here and it was the best experience I could have had! Jessica who oversees this property was the most helpful someone could be to me! She went above and beyond out of her way in every way she could. If you have any questions or need any help, Jessica is the best person for the job!!

Dawn was epically kind, helpful, knowledgeable, and service oriented. The facility is very clean and super easy to work with in every way!

The units are nice and clean. The staff are nice. With that said, I rented a unit that had the "dollar" 1st month deal with a discounted rate. First, there is some fee after besides the dollar that was not disclosed at purchase. However, I would have still rented, but some disclosure would have been prudent. Second, there is a prorated amount to be aware of that also is fine, but shoukd have been disclosed. Third, my monthly discount was not honored. Lastly, I have been there for less than 6 months, and my rent just went up almost 40 dollars.. So, just a few things to know before you make any decisions about renting.

I was helped by the most wonderful and thoughtful person, the property manager Leticia. She tended to my every need, and provided me with an overall great experience A+ location. Great prices, and very clean property.

I had to change by five star review to one review. Elevators have been not functioning for past month. Today both elevators are out and I'm unable to access my storage unit. Customer Service is not existent. They take 12 hours to return a call or email. There is no emergency number to call. I'm out the expense of renting a U-Haul. If you must rent a unit, rent one on the first floor.

I would put 5 stars, except that I haven't officially rented space from this location. The reason why I wanted to leave a review was because of the customer service experience I received. I am in the process of moving my family to the Austin area and I spoke with two customer representatives (one female phone rep was extremely helpful with giving me detailed information and even gave me the direct number to the location I was interested in and the gentleman I spoke with was also helpful and friendly). I also received a follow up call with who I believe was the manager of the location I was looking into. She was personable and very helpful as well and I was unfortunately in my car when she called- and I didn't remember her name when I had the opportunity to create a review. Hopefully the right people will see this and acknowledge her excellent service at the 10931 Research Blvd, Austin, TX‎ location. I am truly hoping that there will be space available still when I can set my reservation as I deeply appreciate the level of customer service I received. It truly makes a difference! Working in retail myself, I know it is not easy dealing with customers all the time- but the people who continue to bring a positive attitude are gems and worth being thanked and acknowledged as they are often the first and most impactful impression a customer will receive.

Public storage only had inside units but I had some jobs and needed to load and empty the unit everyday. The next day Lety called and said an outside unit was available and we missed the rain by a couple hours and were able to work around it. Right next to where I live so I am very pleased.

Ok it's supposed to be a temperature store area but if you don't hit 80 the AC don't come on and the heat don't come on if unless it really cold half the time the elevators not working right

No One in the office to help me. I paid everything online through counterless. I got my unit number, gate code, but I went to my unit and it was locked . I sat on hold with customer service for 2 hours. I got here at 9 am so that I could get everything off my old property I had til 11am which would have been fine I don't have that much stuff ,but nope here it is almost 2pm and I'm waiting for a manager to come unlock my unit and I paid 110.00 (19.99 for my lock) now I just got fined for not having my belongings moved from my old property. This is ridiculous!!!
