Went to Public Storage today looking to rent a unit. Michelle act as if she don’t speak English. Told her I was looking for something big enough to hold a bed a dresser a night stand clothes and shoes. The first two units she offered me wasn’t big enough after I explained to her what I was looking for. Then she showed me one that was big enough to hold all of my items. Went back to the office and proceeded with payment only to get to the unit to see no lock no nothing. Went back to the office for a fourth time for her to tell me the unit she just sold me is under maintenance. I asked her to refund my 240 for her to tell me I could only get 167 back. Had to call my bank to get all of everything I spent with her today back in my bank account. I will never return to this location ever again especially if I have to deal with Michelle.

They have now changed my move out date to 3/6/24!!! With the balance still being charged!! I moved out on March 1st and the Supposed Property Manager who took my call on the 2nd confirmed that she knew I was out on time, you better go back and listen to the recorded call from that day! It is illegal to alter dates to benefit your company!!!! Check the last time I used my gate code!! Once again I am having an issue with this place! I moved everything out to a different storage facility because this place jumps your rent up 40-50 dollars at a time! I have been here for years and they truly do not care how long you have rented from them nor do they care if you leave! I moved out on the 30th day of the month which actually fell on March 1st because of February having 29 days and I left the place clean and on March 2nd they charged me for a full month of rent. 170.00!! I called on the 2nd to find out why I was being charged and the female that answered the phone said she was the property manager and said that she knows I was out on time and that she was trying to get it fixed and I said I shouldn’t of been charged in the first place and she said again with attitude I am trying to fix it so that the charge is removed. I said will I get a notification when it is fixed? She said yes and then hung up! Today is the 5th and the charge is still on my account! Someone told me that y’all like to send people to collections and I better not see this on my credit! It needs to be removed asap. I called and left a voicemail on the 4th as well asking why it hasn’t been removed and obviously I never got a call back. I am also leaving the old review still on this so people can see the back and forth with your company! Your company has no consideration for long time renters and the price increases are ridiculous, literally y’all do nothing to deserve that much of a price increase. You don’t even keep the place looking clean. (Old review follows) UPDATE: I am updating my below review, the district manager got in touch with me and resolved some of my issues and hopefully going forward if I call with any issues or questions someone will return my calls. Thank you for addressing and correcting the problem...................... I rented a unit for a discounted price and after only 3 and a half months they raised the rent more than double! I called left a message for someone to call me and explain why my rent went up so much and have not gotten a call, I had no choice but to pay it because they will lock down your storage if you are late but it's very unprofessional not to return a call and ridiculous to more than double the rent! I could understand a few bucks but a 53 dollar jump in rent during these times are inconsiderate! Guess I need to find a different storage facility!

Difficult to access almost every time of day Terrible customer service. Employees never available if you have an issue. Our unit flooded and ruined several things. And they're more than twice the cost of the new storage units we moved to just a few miles away.

Easy access, easy way of storing your stuff.

Don't get caught up in the "public storage" scam. These guys prey on people who are having hard times in life. They may be inviting and even be cheaper than others but just be warned they raise the rent after 3 months and Continue to do so until they can get u in default and then place an false lien on your stuff ( I say it's false lien because in this and most other counties in this state when a lien is not " perfected" until its files thru the local Registry of deeds office but this cost more money and time so they just made sure to find work arounds and lobbies to not have to do this step like all others have to but don't take my word for it this is just my f8ndibg and my personal experience and opinion do your own research trust only in your own life and authorities) ... they structure their entire business model around what they call the 4 D's , those are Death, Displacement, Divorce and downsizing. Now let's just look closely at that and think about what I am saying here . Look it up! This is beyond foul and a service that is a multi billion dollar a year built entirely off of those people and families who have come into gard times and profiting from that. Then in 7 days being late they lock you out and impossible fees start piling up. Then when they sell your stuff and even tho the law says the have to return all personal effects such as paperwork pictures and the like , the never once inform tenant of this right and that priceless type of thing get into all sorts of different places that they should not end up in like the trash or even worse other people whom can collect your personal info and use it for all sorts of things.... Without prejudice Without Recourse
