The access to the units on the inside of the facility through the loading area had a double 2in curb. The cart they provided can't go into the space without lifting the cart over the curb and that is counter productive!!

We rented a storage unit here for 18 months or so while expanding our house. It's a normal storage unit, located in a fairly tough location that can be challenging to get in/out of. We had a unit with outside access, and had shown signs of rodents having lived in the unit. Plus, beware of the 9pm closing time - if you clock out after 9pm, they leave you nasty grams. In addition, like most storage units, beware of promos and large rent increases! We had over $200 increase in rents over a 6 month period. Other than that, it served our needs, albeit pricey.

This public storage is clean and neat. I haven't had any issues The light blew out in my unit and Brandon came immediately with a ladder and switched the bulb and made sure I had a string to turn it on and off. Very professional and had no problem helping with a smile.

They are infested with rats. If you want rat droppings on your stuff, then try them out. If you want your belongings to stay clean, try somewhere else that doesn’t have rats.
I've used this storage facility every time I need to store my goods in the Philadelphia area because, despite being a few miles outside of the city, it's the safest and cleanest storage unit in the area. I highly recommend this facility particularly because the customer service is second to none. Dara was so helpful to me during my move out process, she was able to seamlessly help me move out and cancel my unit. I'll be using them again as long as I live in Philly.
I definitely recommend public storage in Havertown. Dara is the property manager for that site. She was fantastic to work with. She was so friendly and helpful! She was able to answer all of my questions, and even offered helpful suggestions. The hours are convenient, so I can come and go as I need.

Just booked storage for the first time so I'm sure my questions were silly but Brandon was helpful throughout the entire process. One of the worst storage location I've ever used. Never have I met someone who is so rachet as Chynna. No class and very rude. Both her and the manager took their time helping me when a lock was stuck on the front door of my locker. Had to contact the managers supervisor. In the meantime, the manager made me wait almost two weeks before removing the lock. While I was waiting for the manager to decide on when to remove the lock, people were stealing my items. Worst public storage ever. Do not ever use this location. Not to mention that there are water bugs within the vicinity.

I was in there yesterday ( Sunday dec 15th ) the lady that was in helped me so much , she was so pleasant and helpful .. i wanted a 10 by 30 but unfortunately they didn’t have any , she told me that she would give me a call when something opened up ..

Apparently my account was set up with the wrong email and things went downhill from there. Calls to this location were not returned and it has been a nightmare trying to pay and communicate with Public Storage. The location transfers me to Customer Service and Customer Service says I need to talk to the location. One big UGH!

SO EASY to start and end my time here. Chynna was super helpful, as was Paul. Definitely recommend using, especially if you live in Philly and don’t want to deal with the hassle of parking in the city.
Customer service at this location is excellent. Our also offers more flexible hours and a keycode entrance. However if you plan to move out, be sure to remove your stuff and cancel by the last day of the month. They don't do partial payments. You will need to pay for a full month.
After having my items in storage here for about 8 or 9 months, I moved out and there were rodent droppings and damage to many of my items due to rodents chewing through things. I sent in feedback afterwards regarding this and never heard anything back. I paid $150 a month only to have my items damaged.
I absolutely LOVE this location and my storage experience! I recommended this location to my coworkers AND my family! This is truly and honestly my BEST storage experience! The Havertown location is my favorite because of its staff, convenience, and security!
I’ve stopped in today last minute because I had to go out of town. I was running late for my flight and I had stopped in to grab a few important items that I needed. Monique did a great job helping me get my things and assisting me so I can go catch my flight. You guys do a great job training your employees and I will definitely recommend a friend to your company! Thank you Monique for assisting me.

My past experiences with other storage company’s were not the best. I was slightly hesitant, but I love this public storage. It’s close to home, with great customer service. The Manager Brandon showed me a clean space, and assured me that my belongings would be safe. He was super knowledgeable. He answered every question I had, and gave me his card. I completely trust that my valuables are safe at this location thanks to Brandon!

After searching for a while, I finally found a place where I trusted my belongings to stay until I get settled in my new place. This particular Public Storage is absolutely amazing. I received insight and commendable customer service from a young man named Brandon. Brandon was knowledgeable and answered every question I had with patience and enthusiasm (I am an avid question asker, haha). I’d highly recommend this location. Also, Brandon is an excellent asset.

Horrible management. I've been trying to pay my bill and past due bills and they never answer the phone or call back and now I have to go in person cause they're threatening to sell all my stuff. This problem could've been solved it avoided if they would have called me back or answered. But no they would rather hide behind emails and keyboards than talk on the phone or in person. They need new management.

This location has been experiencing telephone issues for months (calls are being forwarded to Spartanburg, Pa.) which causes many additional problems for all concerned. Old and dirty facility. I moved in with the $1 special but ended up paying a whole lot more than expected. I had to pay a prorated fee for moving in on the 31st instead of the 1st even though no one had mentioned this throughout the reservation process. What made it more frustrating was the mandatory insurance charge that was added at the time of check in, which, again, was never mentioned when I asked about the rates. I'm definitely moving out at the end of the month.
Always trash around the elevators. Hard to pull out because it is one way traffic by a light. Prices went up but nothing else changed. My things were secure and I like the gate codes.

I was a customer for over 5 years with multiple storage units. I always had a good experience except when I tried to close out my final storage unit. I moved out 4 days into the month during normal hours, but there was no one in the office to confirm and close it for me. When I called on the following Monday, they told me that I owe for the entire month and they cannot close it until I pay. I called customer service to see if it could be prorated and they said no. I had to pay the full amount, and they don't prorate (Although they have in the past). They emailed corporate to have the district manager reach out to me, but I never heard back. When I called the office back to just pay it and move on; they added a late fee! I left a voicemail and sent emails to the district manager with no response. Very disappointing customer service. I won't be using any Public Storage in the future.
I was thoroughly impressed with the level of professionalism at this Public Storage! From the moment I stepped foot in the door I was greeted with a smile and nothing but the best service. Brandon made sure I was clear on all expectations and even guided me to my unit. I know my belongings are safe there with such a wonderful staff!

I had such a nice experience at this public storage today. No matter how many questions I asked, Brandon was extremely knowledgeable, patience and helpful when he was giving me information on the different storage units. I rented a unit here for 2 months (for storage during a long distance move). The move-in and move-out were both clean and easy - they provide dollies for moving your stuff around. I also was able to set up my move-out date online, which was helpful because no one was in the office when I cleared out. My stuff stayed clean and dry, no sign of pests. Staff was very helpful whenever I had questions.

We wanted to change from an upstairs unit to a drive-up at this location. They transferred our account very easily and helpful in taking care of the paperwork. Very pleasant attitude as well. However, the unit has some faint petroleum smell and some oil stains on the floor.

Location...great. I first went to the Public Storage right down the street from the location where I rented and the woman there was very helpful. We discussed reserving a unit online down the street at the other Public Storage, which had the size I was looking to rent, that was more ideal for what I needed to store and I could get the 50% promotional rate. Within the 2 minute drive I reserved my unit online for $183 a month. When I arrived the gentleman behind the counter walked me down to the unit I reserved...it was locked. He did double check the unit number location, it was the correct unit but was NOW unavailable. The only unit left was the same size for $212. It was a drive up unit verses the other...hence the price difference. I will say the drive up unit has been GREAT. Simply put...I feel they should have honored the $183 price since it was offered online and I reserved ahead of time.
