Very angry with Simply storage! Simply Storage took over about a year ago. First and foremost the monthly fees! Fees keep increasing. It is apparent that this company is Money hungry! They don’t care about their customers and the hardships they encounter. They don’t care about their employees either. Administrative fees are crazy. Monthly Fees for a long standing customer is more than that of a new customer. How do you do that to your long standing customers? As soon as Simply Storage took over there was a rate increase! Not just a few dollars but 25.00 more a month! My husband has 2 units the same size as mine and we are pay three different prices monthly. Never did understand that! The staff there cannot explain the difference, neither can corporate. It was explained to me yesterday that if I moved my belongings to another one of their units, there is a one time 29.00 administrative fee and the rate is 8.00 lower than what I am paying now. But I already paid an administrative fee when I rented the unit to begin with! The staff there are very nice but paid very little. Who wants to work like a dog and put up with customers complaints or fixing stuck doors. daily for 13.00 per hour. And that is base pay for a property manager. In comparison, McDonalds pay 15.00 an hour to a young kid just starting a job. What does that say about Simply Storage? Simply Storage says over and over and over again they want you to set up auto payments. Absolutely ridiculous! That is for the companies benefit not the customer. When talking with a customer while there, he said Simply Storage lost revenue of 8 units because of rate increases.

I rented a small unit at the i-35 south service Rd in moore back the first of 2024 and in Feb. 2024 I received a call saying my unit wasn't locked and I went up there to check my unit they had locked it but there were things missing and I filed police report and there are two cameras that point right at my unit but there is no video showing who went in my unit and there insurance company denied my claim and I'm still fighting this issue and now I'm talking to attorneys to see what I can do I feel that it was an inside job and I was told that several people had left their units unlocked and everyone had stuff missing but there's no video so that sign that says video surveillance 24/7 is bull.

I have rented a unit from this site since 2013. The folks how work the rate great! But the rent is getting too high so I’m faced with having to move out. A 71% increase plus insurance is just too much. Thanks.

Removed my items from storage and says they “disposed” of them yet after 4 calls to both the location and corporate and neither will reach back out to me. Update: Reached out 5 days in a row, left voicemails and online chats and still corporate will not return my call. Filed a complaint with the better business bureau and they didn’t even try to refute the claims. Take a lesson from me and go elsewhere.
