This store is amazing, the way I was being helped in the store was 5 star. They showed me the space even though I had no reservation. They help me get the best space, Siquena & Luis!

Poor service, management is difficult to get in touch with and condescending. Prices will go up 40% after 3 months, then 240% (yup) by the end of the year. Would not recommend using Public Storage - at any facility.

Clean and functional no frills basic storage. High standard of customer service. People who work in the office are super sweet. Recommend!

I rented a 5x7 storage unit for 6 months while I was out of state. The price was reasonable and the staff were always courteous — I appreciated that. However, when I returned to move out today, I was shocked to find a significant amount of rat feces and urine in the unit. I had to throw away many of my belongings, including personal and irreplaceable items. I never stored any food or anything that would attract rodents, so this was unexpected and extremely upsetting. The front desk staff gave me the contact info for the insurance company (“Orange Door”), but it appears the maximum reimbursement is only $250, which doesn’t come close to covering my losses. I’ve submitted a claim and am hoping at least that amount is processed quickly. My unit was on the third floor (Unit 6266). Please be cautious — rodent infestation is a real risk here.

Came in yesterday for some boxes, and a lovely lady named Siquena was so helpful with the sizing and even let me know that there was a promotion going on

We recently visited this location and customer service with Dolan was pleasant. He provided quality customer service and offered solutions to help resolve the situation we encountered. Every time we go in the facility my face starts to itch.

The Staff was not Friendly at all. Plus they Demanded that if you Transfer to another unit it has to be done that Day. No Excuses or exceptions which is very Unfair and Rude. Considering that they only have so many carts to use to get the items out. No Assist whatsoever and they say no Rats or anything, but I witnessed 5 people screaming that Rats got into their stuff and destroyed everything This is a very Poor place and needs to have The EPA or some type of investigation done to insure my safety, Health, and property is in great condition

The employees were super helpful and made the process of moving in really easy. The location is a short walk from the 2 and 3 trains. The storage space was also pretty cheap!

Storage prices are reasonable the Facility is clean and well maintained. I would give 4 stars if it was for the fact that you are forced to pay for storage Insurance. I should have the choice if I want insurance or not.

The worst place ever why because, there are no cameras in the proper areas which would be where the items are actually stored. Purchased Insurance just to tell me that the burglary of all my items is not valid for insurance. Even with a police report, with proof their new employee is incapable of writing down and providing the correct number to the gate/ storage. My key wouldnt have even go in to my lock any longer. Non of my items where in my storage even though I was paying and again purchased renter insurance. Spent my entire summer without a/c units and son without a bike. So if you do decide to go here because you are desperate. Write down all names of who you speak to take a video of where they tell you to put your stuff in and ask for copies of what you did today. Employees are horrible and company is the worst.

Staff have habit of leaving the site and customers are left waiting for return and accommodations are minimal for assistance.

I came in and was assisted by manager Tariko Jackson he answered everything I needed to know and had such a positive attitude I was having a bad day his customer service really brightened me up !!!

Best store ever nadia and luis are the BEST they help me solve my issue with the spade ASAP! I love when there in they truly help me every time I either ask for her or for him no matter if I have to wait for them to finish with another customer ! 5 star service!

I set up my unit Early August 2024 and the original unit provided was filthy! I immediately requested a move to a cleaner unit. This was fascilitated by Luis or so I thought. 1 week later i get an email saying I was due to pay an egregious amount of money. Upon further investigation I discovered why. It was because the dirty unit was never removed from my account. TF! I now had to go back to this facility less then 8 days after purchasing the unit and before I even moved into it, just to request the removal. Thankfully Siquena was there when I arrived and revealed the first unit wasn't cancelled but she could do it quickly for me. (She was Great!) Fast forward September 27, I move out and I am told by Luis I will get an email confirmation of move out in 15 minutes after submittal. An hour and 5 minutes after I check out, I refreshed my email and nothing. So I called back, spoke with Luis and notified him that I never received the move out email and that I've checked spam folders as well. He said 'oh you'll get it right now". When I asked if there 'was an issue with my email'? He said "no, i just did not press the button to show move out". My issue is with this whole scenario is that Luis wasn't paying attention or focused back in August and again in September as while processing my move out, as he was too busy looking at his phone. I am all for getting great customer service, wherever money is spent. These snaffus were not great service. I did not enjoy the lack of focus for all of my transactions and the back and forth to correct errors that were not made by me. Customer service requires pristine dedication and I did not get that. I will recommend folks to utilize this storage unit but I will advise person who I refer to this location to stay on top of staff and request receipts of transactions, no emails becuase there's just no guarantee what is said is actually what is done. The standard of service at this location must improve amongst the staff. I'm very unimpressed and I'm getting pissed off just having to write this review as I was hoping from august to september the attention to detail would have improved.

I had a very good experience at the public Storage outlet on 1223 E New York Ave. The front desk personal, Ms. Siquena was pleasant and relatable and l even got a very good deal despite the cost of Storage space is now a bit on a high cost but here on 1223 E NY was reasonable . The environment is clean and they have parking lot close to the elevator to make moving easy and accessible for all. I recommend who ever needs a Storage space should come here. I arrived at 2 pm today (Saturday, August 30, 2024) to retrieve some belongings from my unit at the 1223 E New York Ave, BK NY location, only to find the facility completely closed. Despite entering my access code, the system indicated that the facility was closed, which left many paying customers, including myself, unable to enter. I was under the impression that customers could access their units even when the office was closed, but this was not the case. I attempted to reach customer service seven times for assistance, but none of the representatives could provide any information on why the facility was closed. One representative mentioned contacting a property manager at the St. John Place location, but no one arrived to grant us access. Additionally, I was provided with a phone number that turned out to be disconnected. I also asked a representative if the storage facility will reopen tomorrow, Sunday, September 1, 2024, but no one could provide an answer. I have a wedding to attend in 24 hours and urgently need to gain access to my unit. This situation is highly inconvenient, and I am concerned about the lack of communication regarding the closure. Why were customers not notified in advance? Can you please explain what happened and how this issue will be addressed moving forward?

The owner needs to fire the staff .They donot sweep neither clean everyday There is always Trash on the floors . Rat DROPPING ALL OVER THE SECOND FLOOR. RATS IS A MAJOR PROBLEM IN THIS STORAGE. DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT .

Very clean. Storage is well organized

Needed a storage unit last minute and booked one online. From the online sign up to the app to access the space, the process is seamless. When I went to the space, I realized that I didn't have the first floor like I assumed. The staff were very helpful and swapped the space right away. The units are also clean and the building is air conditioned. It's both cheaper and cleaner than others I checked out.
