Melody at the front office is the best and was so helpful in getting everything squared away with my storage unit. She truly cares about her customers and will go above and beyond to make sure their needs are meet. I highly recommend renting from here, especially with Melody!
Melody helped with a spontaneous urgent issue that wasn’t even her problem or the property’s responsibility but had to do with the Public Storage franchise. She helped me book another property, close out an old property, did a full on registration for a unit that I could not find online. She did not just uphold her own property but also that of Public Storage Corporation. THIS is what integrity looks like, THIS is how a real manager works. when it comes to storage units and needing to be managed by property managers, there's no better than the one right here at Chapel Hill on road I'm telling you right now Melody is so awesome. There was times where I got locked out but there she was to fix it for me even though I was the one that screwed up.
I started out having a great day and it became even brighter when I met Tameka at Public Storage on Hopson. I didnt want to compare different storage prices and sizes and Tameka called Melody who was at the Public Storage in Morrisville. Melody had only one storage at the size I wanted. All I heard when I hollered out loud "hold that storage, Im on my way!" Lol! Melody was customer servicing another person but I waited! I got it after numerous questioning and done! Melody and Tameka was so helpful and it brought back what good customer service is supposed to be. If you remember how it used to be and need a storage unit, go check it out. Thank you!!
Raised my rent less than 6months into my storing there. Meanwhile I stored with U-HAUL two year before they raised my rent. I’d go somewhere else.
UPDATE: After speaking with one of their representatives and expressing my dissatisfaction, I received a rent decrease without my asking for it. I’m adding 3 stars for their conflict resolution abilities.

Additional Comment: Being CLOSED on New Years Day was a problem. I rented the unit but could not move due to no access on New Years Day. Even Gates were inactive. Very strange. I had help available as all had day off. Friday they'er back to work.

They need better customer service training, do away with charging the extra $20 to pay online & do away with the insensitive call center The average customer wants to speak with someone @ the facility NOT someone that doesn't know your particular needs intimately. Everything seems very cold & robotic about how they handle things. I miss the old days 😪. Ever since Public Storage took over this place the human element has been taken away. I can get better customer service @ a bank. Which, is saying a lot because they are (supposed to be) all about money!

Converted the past year to Public Storage. They repainted and labeled the exterior of the units. Haven't had any issues in the 4 years of having a unit. It does get dusty in the unit so make sure to cover any vital items.
