My experiences with PS have been very good! The manager is very help getting me the unit size I needed. He was also very helpful and attentive to my needs being an older and handicapped lady!

This Public Storage is great! The staff are very friendly, it has flexible hours, and a central location that made it perfect for my move. They also always have carts available!

The Public Storage on Hwy 751 is easy to get to, always well maintained and Mr. Scott is always on site during peak hours. He is very professional, makes sure you have easy access when moving items in and out. High 5s all around for Scott for doing a first rate job managing the Hwy 751 facility. J.L. Facility is fine. First year most of my stuff got mold on it. After three years they tripled rent on a 5x10 to $167 a month plus it was charging $15 for "insurance". My advice? Avoid the place unless you don't care about money.

This facility is wonderful and I would highly recommend it to anyone with storage unit needs. We use our storage unit every day for business and we couldn’t be happier with our time here. the facility manager, Scott, is fantastic and has always helped with any of our needs and is always readily available. This site is very clean and taken care of well. The employees walk the entire facility every day checking locks and cleaning up. We have gotten a call before that our unit was accidentally left unlocked and we were able to immediately get over there to relock it, thanks to this. We feel very secure and well looked after here. We have been at other facilities before with far far less care and so we are very grateful for such a great place.

Fabulous staff! Friendly and helpful. I hope your employees are rewarded accordingly. I would rate with '6' stars if more flat carts were available. I think renters pay enough to be given the convenience.

Everything is super easy, I’ve rented a couple units from this location and they have been really clean. Kim has always helped me at the front desk and gone above and beyond. When the power was out helped me and a bunch of customers get into our units and any questions or changes I ask she gets done immediately.

Twice in my life I’ve had to make major transitions and both times I needed to put my furniture, clothing and other miscellaneous items that each meant so much to me, in the care of public storage facilities. The thought and preparation of it was very stressful because you’re entrusting your personal belongings to strangers—even if it is a professional storage company because all companies don’t practice quality customer service. But I’ve been very fortunate to have found this particular Public Storage company where the employee friendliness, professionalism, and empathy really made me feel my things were in good hands. On both occasions, I was able to get my belongings out and I was very pleased to have found everything in the same great condition I left them. Thank you to all the great staff at Public Storage for making my life easier.

Cleanest rental unit I’ve been to. Climate controlled building with restrooms and great location. Right up the road from Southpoint mall and Harris teeter. I’ve spoken with the front office lady Kim each time I’ve been in just to say hello. She keeps this place in good shape. You rock Kim!!!! Just wanted to share a wonderful experience with Kim and Dale at the Public Storage facility located at 7101 NC-751 in Durham, NC. We are in the midst of a home renovation project and needed a short term storage rental to hold the new appliances. Rented a unit and scheduled an early morning delivery. Four guys arrived to unload a refrigerator that was way bigger than expected. As we tried to maneuver the fridge in, we realized that it was not going to fit. The hallway plus the tight corner would not allow it. It was early in the morning, almost 30 minutes before the office was supposed to open. Luckily, both Kim and Dale were there early and began exploring all the options. They jumped into action immediately. Dale made sure that the doors remained open for access to the hallway and also spotted another unit that might work, on a different corridor. Kim started the work on switching us over to the new unit. While smaller than the original unit, the direct access allowed us to store a big refrigerator, range, dishwasher and other accessories. Both the delivery guys and I were relieved! After getting everything moved in, it was the simplest transaction to transfer to the new unit. Kim made it seamless, making sure that all credits were reflected properly on my account. I can't thank Kim and Dale enough for their fast action, creative approach, quick thinking and great service. When you have managers like this, you know you are in great hands. Thank you again!

I rented a 10 x 10 unit 3037 on May 27, 2023 Saturday. I went on Sunday morning to look at the unit. It was a triangle corner unit, definitely not a 10 x 10 square. Sharece office lady kept talking trying to explain how the triangle was really a square. I complained and due to the unnecessary verbal banter I just asked for a refund so I could go. Sharece called Kennedy at Hillside Dr and both agreed that I could have a complete refund of my 189.00 which I paid online on May 27,2023(Memorial Day Weekend 50% discount never happened either) Refund in their computer says it was done and pending. Now June 07, 2023 and I have not received my $189.00 refund. Kennedy now says it must be the district manager Mr Van Ness and regional manager who must authorize my refund….. what it boils down to is the office administrator has no clue what she is doing and no one is held accountable. And 12 days later I have no refund and am told no one can do anything …… I will never use Public Storage Again because the customer service is just plain horrible. I drove to the closest Ample Storage paid $89 and no outrageous admin fees and I purchased a 10x 10 square storage unit. Public Storage I am still in need of my refund. On top of moving this is just plain horrible!

I would like to share my experience with the greatest out standing customer service I received when I went to check out the storage unit,first I want to thank Kim and the new lady ,sorry (I forgot her name) at location 7101 NC 751. They are so helpful and very informative,I recommend the location to do business. On the day before moving I didn't receive a call about how to enter and I called and the new lady handle my call very well. On the day of moving things was not finalized and Kim was at another location and there was the same new lady and awesome Dimitri took the time and patience to make our setting to our satisfaction. Thank you to all of you.The service again was great. Keep it up.

I am in the process of moving and need storage. I visited the 7101 NC-751 location in Durham. I was greeted by one of the most patient, friendliest person you could imagine. Kimberly took the time to show me around the storage facility, answered every question I had, and went above and beyond to make me feel truly welcome to spend my money here. Kimberly is a true delight to talk to. If it were in my ability to give on the spot raises or bonuses, I would not hesitate to reward her for top notch customer service.

My wife and I recently moved our belongings here after relocating to the Triangle from Philadelphia. It was basically the most insane and difficult move of our lives. When we showed up to this location, a Public Storage employee named Ebony came out of the office to our truck to say hi, helped me finish setting up my account, met me at the storage locker, got us a cart, and just generally made what had been a difficult process as easy as possible. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I have returned to the facility several times to pick up boxes and move stuff in and Ebone is always helpful and friendly. I've also witnessed her interactions with other customers and she is the same--helpful, friendly, professional.

I recently went the Public Storage facility on 751 in Durham, NC. The manager there is always polite and welcoming when I arrive. She always ask about my day, which leads to a very pleasant conversation. This particular day was especially encouraging, because I didn’t know that she shared an experience similar to what I was presently going through. She gave very helpful advice that ultimately helped me get through the day. She also provided guidance as to how I can keep my storage cost compatible to my particular circumstances. With everybody going through the increase with the economy, it’s always nice to meet people who are professional, courteous, and kind. Thanks for all that you do😊

Had a storage unit with a CubeSmart site before it got bought out by Public Storage. The people who worked for Cubesmart on location and were retained were excellent. Nothing about the Public Storage side of things has been pleasant. Here are the things that went wrong: 1. Unclear notification of the buyout. Public Storage sent an email, but not Cubesmart. Anyone used to phishing would immediately find the "sign this new contract!" email suspicious. Right away I had to dig to make sure this was legit. 2. Conflicting information about the dollar amount owed and when it was due. Cubesmart said one amount with due date #1, Public Storage said another with due date #2. There was no email to explain who do listen to. The amount Public Storage said to pay was not correct, because they found a $1.45 after I paid by card, and now I need to pay another transaction fee to make up for the missed amount. 3. My account failed to work after making it to sign the new contract. I have been locked out for at least 5 days. I tried the app. I tried the webpage. I did the forgot the password and used 2 factor auth and have waited their one day suspicious activity period twice, with change. My account is still not working. I cannot see the amount I owe or pay by website or app. 4. Public Storage has no phone number for tech issues on their contact page. You shoot off an email into the void with their online form and hope they can get you back into your account before your payment is late. 5. Long distance fees. Cubesmart had a 3$ pay by phone fee, for when you are out of town. Public Storage has a 20$ one, according to their website. In conclusion, everything good was built by Cubesmart, and the buyout by Public Storage has been about as welcome as six raccoons in your attic crawlspace, and right at Christmas too. Edit: It has been two weeks since my account was locked out. Public Storage has not replied to my submitted website form. Public Storage, the parent company, is non-responsive and not helpful. (Let me stress again, the local employees in office are fine, nice, and helpful.)
