I was supposed to receive the $1 first month /30% off deal..I paid $30 in November on move-in the next month I was charged $79.10 and $138.16. I moved out January 14th but I'm getting charged $128 on February 1st. I used the storage for 3 months but I'm being charged 4 times !!! There was also some white stuff all over my boxes that I stored that had fallen through the ceiling. If you don't want to be scammed stay far away, if you don't care about wasting your money then this is the perfect place for you

Kim was my angel last Saturday, when I was trying to get my stuff moved. I had to leave for a bit and she called to tell me a storm was moving in and was afraid my stuff would get soaked. I have used this storage facility for a year and a half and wasn’t always thrilled with the manager. She is so personable and understanding and is so helpful. She has definitely changed my view of Public Storage and the five star rating is due to her. All businesses need employees who care about their customers. I'm totally disappointed in this place I paid for my storage when I got it and somehow they took the money off my card and when they did they put it back on it without me knowing if it and the next month I receive a call saying it happen to several people but I have to pay regardless and I didn't have it because I paid to move in an apt and so they locked it and now I have a dead line or I lose all my kids stuff of 28 years pictures and all I'm so upset it's unfair

Horrible customer service!!! DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. I rented out a storage unit a 5x10 to be exact as I was moving out back in October price came out to be $45 no issue. November came around and they were charging double the price I called and they said they had made a mistake?! According to them that was not the price, but they didn’t let me know in advance they just sent a text because that’s how they work 🥴 no apology nothing! I pay, and let it be no biggy.December comes around mind you my family has had Covid and no one in the house has been working I call them and let them know I will not be able to pay until January until we get back on our feet, they said there’s nothing they can do about it, I am willing to pay fees just so they can hold on a little longer. I get a phone call around mid January our things are going to auction on the 27th so I agree to try and pay before then… I go in the 26th and pay off $289 so we can save our things and they let me know that “corporate” had already popped the lock and the storage has no security ? So you’re telling me they came in before the actual date to pop open the storage for what? Even tho I had already agreed to pay before and explain to them our financial situation! Yes I did call corporate and like always they said there’s nothing they can do?

I have rented several units at Public Storage on Breckenridge (Louisville) since 2015. Over the past year, I needed to change storage units twice. I want to cite MJ's outstanding service during my storage unit changes. In particular I want to commend MJ for going above and beyond to take the initiative to call me when an appropriate unit became available. I moved in the next day. Frankly, a storage unit is a storage unit, but the excellent service by MJ is what differentiates the Public Storage on Breckenridge from the other facilities in the area.

Great clean facility but everytime I've gotten a storage unit over the years after about 6 months the price goes up like $20+ which to me is crazy

Mr. Ryan helped us get a unit. He called me before I even finished the application online giving me instructions on how to finish securing my unit. I realized later that I needed a larger unit and when I called he told me to come to the office to take care of it. When I showed up he was ready and willing to help. He is kind and easy to communicate with. He helped make the transition from unit to unit go pretty smoothly. I had a much better experience with him than I have had at any other storage facility I have used in the past. Thank you Mr. Ryan!!!

I just wanted to say that moving is never easy, but the staff at this location were beyond helpful. Ryan was an absolute joy. He addressed all of my concerns. He put my mind at easy, and the online checkout is amazing.

I've had nothing but a great experience with this Public Storage. Easy to get set up. The staff was so helpful with hints on the best placement of my items to make the most of the area I had. I once had trouble with my lock and Ryan came out in the rain to help me. (I felt bad, him getting wet.) Nice place good storage spots to choose.

Maybe I visited on a bad night but the storage area was sketchy. About half of the lighting in the lot were out. The place had a generally run-down feel plus the automatic gate was just open to all who wanted to enter.

I found the staff very helpful. The office manager, Ryan, was very efficient in setting up my account. He was also helpful in helping manage my rental space. I would definitely rent space at Public Storage again!

Overall not to happy with my experience here, the offering of the free month was nice because we got the unit late the first month, which is why I give them the second star. We then encountered some pretty shady stuff. The original lock that I had put on our unit with the stickers only I had, changed randomly one day. It was not the lock that I’ve had for years. And a new sticker was placed on it, how? The lock was not completely closed so we were able to get inside and get a new lock. Luckily nothing of importance was taken from The unit. We shortly got all of our important items out of storage. Just would not recommend this place at all. Loose to NO security at all. Plus they called me when I first got the unit write a good review. I did. And regret it. Probably will never use Public Storage anywhere after this experience.

I inquired by their 1-800 phone number on a Sunday. Within 5 minutes of hanging up from the call center Diane called me to ask if I had any additional questions & if she could help in any other way. She let me know that she was having to jump between two locations, as people had called out, and wanted to ensure she would be there upon my arrival. I arrived in a panic, as I had so much to do that day. Diane was so calm & kind, especially knowing she was split between covering two locations! She even let me borrow one of her locks! She was great & explained the billing, hours, how to enter, ect. patiently. I appreciated her help so much! Thanks, Diane!

Do not rent from this place. They let you move in then wait a couple months and your bill will go up $40 every 6 months. They claim it's to meet the market rate. Meanwhile the "security gate" stays open all day for anyone to come and go as they please. Do not trust these people. They won't even return your calls you have to catch them in the office in order to get answers as to why your bill went up. Amazing how they are easy to get ahold of when you want to rent a unit but after leaving several messages over three weeks I have to catch someone in the office to try and get answers. I went in to ask about the bill in person and the lady handed me a printed copy of the bill and told me to read it because she couldn't. I am moving my stuff to another company's storage unit.

Nice storage facility. Clean with nice staff. My only suggestion is to be prepared your first trip, i.e. online research. For example, they charge $20 a lock, but you can use your own, but you have to physically have it with you before they'll rent to you. All in all, nice facility with ample storage

Brittany was super nice. And it's conveniently located near my apartments so I never have to travel far. However, there were a few surprises when it came to the price. Online told me my total amount was one price, but once there,i had to pay a required insurance fee and if you didn't bring your lock with you, you couldn't leave and go purchase one. You had to buy theirs which was ridiculously expensive.

Worse storage facility ever!!!! They claim they're willing to work with you but don't. I was told I had until certain time of the month to pay off my balance and close my account and retrieve my belongs, they decided out of no where to declared my property abandoned and threw it out withoutany notification. I won't be recommending this location or any other location in this company to anyone......I work for Ford Motor Company and they constantly have employees relocating to this area.

The Facility is good, however it's the knowledge and efficiency of the staff that makes the business worthwhile with them. Especially Rob. He is not only an experienced employee but is one of the most efficient and understanding employees that I have ever seen for a business. Kudos to Rob!!

Breckenridge Public Storage is, hands down, the best storage place in town. The staff is friendly and helpful. Brittany is awesome. If I needed to hire another employee, I'd definitely be recruiting her. They treat me right every time I go.

Worst experience ever with a storage facility! The manager is pushy, insistent and now harassing! I have been called 3 times in the 1st month at my work bc Brittany (the manager) forgot to have me initial the one box on the form for an 'emergency contact. Remember this is for an aluminum shed! I was also told that I had to buy their renters insurance. After Goggling I found that this same company has a class action law suit in Florida for this insurance scam. Public storage actually gets 75% of your insurance premium and they send the other 25% to the actual insurer. Since 2013 they have pocketed over $60 MILLION of what they were paid for 'insurance'. I was also told that I had to have one of their locks bc a pad lock from your home is not strong enough so their super duper lock for $22 is the only alternative. Never will I recommend them to anyone...EVER! Again she has called 3 times at work in less than a month so I would make an extra trip over to initial the 'emergency contact' form!

My storage unit worked out great and Brittany was extremely helpful with getting me going. I was worried about the security of my contents but this place was great. Didn't cost me an arm and a leg either.

First and foremost, Brittany's dedication to customer service is unmatched. After telling her what I needed to store, she had me squared away with the appropriate size unit, contract in hand with in a matter of minutes. She even went out of her way to help my movers figure out the best configuration of my belongings so that more space would be available if needed. By far the easiest, cheapest, and satisfying storage experience I've ever had.

We were settling my fathers estate and i have not had to store so much ever. I couldnt fit it all in another companies storage unit and i didnt have much money left. I came to see brittany one day and she told me how big a unit i would need. Ithought it to be too small. I was wrong. She was very kind to let me know the unit ineeded was only one dollar first month. It costs 20.00 only after insuranceand lock. Not a bad deal for as broke i was at that time. She is very knowledgable about her job. " its like a game of tetris ". She is right. Good job Brittany.

Cindy helped me and my elderly grandmother find the perfect storage space we needed, with an attitude that you hardly see at ANY business. She was patient and very kind to my grandmother. The office was clean, as was the storage unit. If you ever need anyone to help with a storage space Cindy is the perfect person.
