Mr Curtis the district manager called after my bad review to explain the problems, help with the ridiculous price which only was reduced by $20 (better than nothing I guess) helped with my late fee ( times are tough) and was very nice. He understood the problems and worked hard to solve them. Hopefully I can remove my stuff really soon so I can save money. It’s just so expensive to rent a moving vehicle and drive nearly 800 miles to and from to get it. Thank you Mr Curtis for you help.

John was an awesome help. As a property manager he is working exceedingly well within his scope. I felt good about renting with the company after the price quotes and he referred me over to Hampton 30228
I’ve been renting a unit at this location for 5 months now and have taken notice of a few things.
One, there are bugs. You have to understand that people bring in all kinds of bugs when they store their belongings here and bugs come in from outside. However, you don’t see them often. I would imagine this building is treated by an exterminator often.
Two, the first floor - although convenient - is the worst floor to store your stuff. This building, seemingly, does not have dehumidifiers on the first floor and moisture accumulation is high when it rains. So much so, you can see it in the concrete at every other unit door and exit door. Remember, this used to be a furniture store.
Thirdly, the rent is very high compared to some other places and that will [could] go up nearly $15-$30 every few months. Their prices fluctuate with the market prices and inflation, so I would say account for that. You’ll be paying more for a first floor unit vs. a second floor unit.
Fourth, there are only FIVE carts to the building. Meaning, if you do not see any carts to use, they’re already in use by someone else in the facility. However, people leave them in all sorts of places so I would suggest walking the building and looking for them if you truly need a cart. Here are some places to check: near the back dock area, near the exits on the first and second floor, and [inside] the elevator near the dock. Weird, I know but here’s why you check inside the elevator…
Fifth observation. IF YOU HAVE TO USE THE ELEVATORS, PLEEEEEAAASSSE, FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY….DO NOT HOLD THE ELEVATOR DOORS! The elevators will shut down and it takes 10 mins for them to reset. Causing both you and another visitor to have to either take the stairs or wait if you have a cart full of stuff. The elevator near the dock has been getting stuck A LOT because of this problem. Which is why people just leave the carts inside the dock elevator and take the elevator nearest to the front exit.
And lastly, there is only ONE person working the entire building all day. You may get to the facility and not be able to speak to someone because she’s walking the property. Call ahead and set up a possible appointment. She a very sweet person and very helpful.
