Public Storage Self-Storage Units at 4266 Hamilton Mill Rd, Buford, GA

The storage place itself is fine but the corporate office is criminal. I cancelled and cleared out my unit last month. Not only have they billed me for this month but they have fined me for being late AND billed me for next month. STAY AWAY from this company!

Jaquita at Public Storage was amazing! She was very nice, extremely helpful, and went above and beyond to accommodate me. Excellent customer service — she made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend asking for Jaquita if you visit this location!

Jacquita made me feel welcomed and she was very informative as I have not rented a storage unit before. She took the time to show me a few different units even though I showed up almost closing time. It was a no-brainer to rent with Public Storage because of Jacquita! At the time of my visit, she was a one-woman show handling everything on her own. Not sure if it’s usually like that, but she is amazing. The units and the front lobby areas are clean!! I don’t know why I expected storage units and facilities to have weird smells, but rest assured no bad/weird smells which is a plus. Also, there are restrooms in the units area (not just in the front lobby). After touring and signing the rental agreement, Jacquita walked through WITH me to ensure that I could get through the gate and find my unit. I’m sure I could’ve done that on my own (slowly), and maybe managers typically do that 🤷🏼‍♀️, but she probably sensed my nervousness and took initiative to help a girl out. 5/5 would recommend if you’re in need of storage unit with an on-site personable property manager in the Buford area!

The process of renting a storage unit was easy and efficient. The facility is new, clean and no risk for mold with the ac. Jacquita was friendly and helpful. All went quite smoothly.

I got to meet Tabitha today (greatest customer service I have received in a while) I was able to get a great deal with Public storage with the dollar move in special!!!! Saving money always makes me happy 😊 this Property looks amazing and great security cameras I feel safe storing my goods here.

EDIT: After posting the below review, I received an e-mail indicating that my price increase was being delayed through 12/31/2025. We will see how drastic the increase is at that time but I am appreciative of this temporary postponement. I was initially VERY pleased with this company. I rented 2 units and planned to use them for a year or so. After 3 month....they are raising my rates 40%. FORTY PERCENT!! They apparently can raise my rates anytime they want, for any amount they want. I bet they never choose to LOWER them. I will be cancelling and finding a new location. This is an incredibly unfair business practice.

Horrible place! My husband and I have two units here and they raised our price not even six months in, and by 40%. This was one of the main reasons I didn't want to go with public storage. I was warned but we thought they had better pricing, now we see why. They planned to get us moved in then raise the price. Don't use them! Horrible business practice.

The facility is super clean, and the manager is extremely helpful! It's the best storage place I've used throughout moving.

I had such a great experience with Jaquita at Public Storage on Hamilton Mill in Buford! From the very beginning, she was absolutely wonderful—so warm, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. She patiently answered all my questions and even brought up important things I hadn’t thought to ask. I never felt rushed; she really took her time with me and helped me feel confident about my decision. Honestly, her outstanding service played a big role in why I chose this location. Booked my rental online! It was a very smooth process. The app is also very helpful, making payments seamless and access easy. The team member Jaquita was very helpful and attentive when I arrived for the first time to use my unit. She walked me over and explained how to access the facility and showed me exactly where my unit was. The facility is very clean and safe from what I’ve seen so far! Thankyou for a great experience!

Insanely easy process from reserving to moving in. The facility is brand new and very clean and well kept so far. I imagine it will stay that way. The carts at the loading doors are much appreciated for help with moving items in and out. Also the price for the size unit is great considering all of the options that are nearby. The app is so easy to use especially with gaining access to the building. Very happy so far!
