The people at the facility were very nice and helpful. I rented there for almost 3 years. The facility was clean and I had zero issues with the storage unit. Unrelated to the staff, facility, or my unit, I was frustrated how frequently and how much the cost increased over the time I rented there.

I recently rented a tiny Storage unit at Extra Space Storage at 5150 University Pkwy, Sarasota, FL. Emptied-out my car so I could DoorDash and Instacart during my two-month winter visit in Florida. The location of this Extra Space Storage worked out perfectly. The place is super clean. The management and staff are very friendly! Would happily rent at this place again next year!

Renter beware of price increases. Corporate greed takes over. Approximately 1 year ago I started at approx. $160/ mo. In March, Then it went to $254 in July and got notice in March of this year it's going up to $334/mo. This was a 10x15 unit. Needless to say I moved to another facility for $138/mo. Huge savings. I will say the facility was nice but not worth the money.
This place is not like other storage places, it's special. They are concerned about our personal stuff
