I recently inherited a unique mix of items from a distant relative..antique furniture, vintage signs, and an absurd number of live lobsters. (Yes, really.) While CubeSmart understandably couldn’t accommodate the lobster portion of the estate (they kindly explained why live seafood isn’t ideal for storage units), Randall and Nakia were amazing at helping me figure out what to do with the rest of it.
They got me set up with a clean climate controlled unit for all the antiques took the time to walk me through the paperwork and even recommended a local place that could handle the lobster situation. I came in overwhelmed and left feeling like I actually had a handle on things.. Randall and Niikia were calm, kind, and honestly lifesavers during a very weird week.
If you’re dealing with a more normal situation or even a mild crustacean one, I highly recommend this team.

Trust me, You Do Not want to use this facility! If you lock up your valuables with a lock purchased from CubeSmart some how they have the ability to vanish into thin air! With a locked unit and no signs of forced entry no police report or insurance company will help you. When the front desk knows ur from out of town it makes it even easier for your things to disappear. This facility needs an internal investigation. There are many other storage companies to choose from in this town and i would strongly suggest giving your business to one of them. This place is shady and gangster as it gets!
Had everything in our unit stolen. Paid for the insurance. They refused to pay because of no obvious forced entry. The also refused to spend the time to look at cameras. They said they would get back to me, they didn’t. I’m out $4000 and they don’t care. Time for an Attorney I guess.

I have been at this place for a little over two months. I received a notice last week that my rent would increase from a little over $25 a month for my next month. I'm not happy, but this is within the contract. As disappointed and frustrated as I am about the rent increasing after only two months, I want to give this review about Nikkia. I called to vent my frustration and she calmly explained everything and gave me some options to help and offset the cost. This is the third time I have talked directly with her and every time she has been very professional and gracious. This review isn't about CubeSmart itself, which would get a 3 star as of today just for my frustration, but this 5 star review is directly for Nikkia. I'm not totally happy with the situation, but I am happy with the options she gave me and how great she was while we were on the phone. No attitude or making me feel like I should have known or that's just the way it is. CubeSmart would be wise to do what they need to to keep her as long as possible. If Nikkia's uppers see this, please call her and thank her because in today's world you don't find many people who can deal with customers, particularly frustrated customers, in a calm, professional, and courteous way and it meant enough for me to immediately get on here to write a review about her.

Nikkia is amazing! She tells you everything you need to know , answers all your questions. She’s very friendly . She makes sure to converse so you aren’t in awkward silence, brings you to your unit , etc. I’m not exactly sure how other employees are but she is awesome !
