UPDATE: Once again, property manager, Tammy, helped me when renting my 3rd storage unit at this facility. She helped iron out the kinks with their insurance vs my own home owners insurance. All I need is to know Tammy's in-office schedule as to when she's in the office and I'm golden. She provides concierge service and I cannot thank her enough for her professionalism and kind demeanor. That said, I really like this Public Storage operation. I like that I get a text or email asking how was my visit. I like that they are paying attention and always asking if there's more they can do. So far, it's the best experience I've had with any storage facility going all the way back to the 1980s. I also need to give a shout out to the other property manager, Stephanie. She, too, gives GOOD PHONE, provides timely voicemails, etc. Both Tammy and Stephanie are excellent property managers. You just gotta align with their in-office schedule and you're golden. THANK YOU, BOTH. Every message I've left, they've returned in a very timely manner.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: When I rented my first Public Storage unit in early December, I met Tammy who helped me get signed up in person as I was not yet familiar with their very user friendly app. Tammy was vey pleasant to work with, showing me several rental units before I chose mine. That good experience gave me the confidence to now rent a second unit with them. They say making a good first impression matters- seems true here too. Their app appears well designed for ease of customer use a definite plus factor.

Everything could have taken place online with no contact. For me, that was a plus. When we went to our assigned unit, we had some concerns on the condition of it. We stopped into the office and Terry was very understanding and responsive. She assigned us another unit in perfect shape and made the transaction with little inconvenience. Meeting her face to face made this experience better than it would have been. Thank you, Terry.
Update: 1 year later.
We have had our monthly fee raise three times since we rented this unit. The first time a about three months after the review above was written. I called and asked why? Their response was basically ‘because we can’ but, they would keep it as is and revisit in 3 months. Three months later, the fees jumped again….higher than the previous. My wife and I decided to just pay the increase because it would have cost us more to find a new place, move it and then deal with the industry standard rate hike every three months.
Three months later, we got another increase notice. They tried to polish it over by saying they don't lock us in long term. I told them I would sign a three year lease right now if they let me.
No dice. Now, our storage is triple the cost each month as when we first rented it and all the other storage companies play by the same rules. I wonder if just a handful of people own all storage companies in the country and they re all needing us fools dry.

I completed a rental online. Was told that I would have immediate access. When we arrived there was a lock on the door. I had to call the office and got a voicemail, but the manager Tiana I believe her name was showed up pretty quickly and apologized for the inconvenience and unlocked our unit for us.

While renting a unit for a few months never had any issues with my belongings and customer service. The one problem I had a Mr. Shamar not only assisted me with solving but was very professional and respect even tho I was upset about an unrelated matter. Very easy and all was well organized. The key and lock were in the storage and everything was well detailed and explained. The only thing was that I couldn’t find any flatbeds, dollys or rollers to take items. Thankfully I had brought a small wagon to carry things.

This is the best public storage location and experience I’ve had in my life. I’ve been late on multiple occasions where my storage space was supposed to be cleared. I recently relocated to California and couldn’t even be there during times where I was sure I was going to loose my space. So I am truly thank for Stephanie and Judith as well as everything they do for people at this location. It’s great to have people that actually care about what you are going through in life and genuinely want to help you. If you are looking for a location that will work with you as you transition then this Public Storage location is the place to go. I wish they had this kind of environment at all storage places. If you are looking for a storage place in the are where you have people that actually care, where you don’t have to be worried, then is Public Storage location is the place to go!!!!!

I rented my unit for 6 months and It was the perfect size that they recommend for my apartment size. The climate control made it even better when trying to move things in the sun and you can step back in to nice cold a/c. The unit was clean with no bug which I loved and all the staff I encountered were so friendly and helpful. When I ran into any issues or concerns Stephanie was so helpful and even went above and beyond to stay a few minutes later to wait for me. I can say this experience was nothing but great after such a sudden move because of the hurricane. I’d definitely choose this location again if I ever needed another storage again!

If you’re looking for a place that’s safe and reliable to store your things, I recommend using this Public Storage. It’s a great area, especially for students. The reason I chose this option is because it was very close in proximity to me. I want to give a huge THANK YOU to Stephanie, she helped explain the process for getting the unit, helped us determine the size we needed, and even went to physically show us each unit so we could make a decision. Silly us decided to go too small, not realizing how fast you can fill the space up, we were in a huge rush only three days into our first unit and she was able to help move us over easily, even finding us a unit as close as possible to the original so it was easier for us to switch all our things over. Stephanie made for a seamless transition to a bigger space. One again why we owe a huge thank you! Thank you Stephanie!

Finding last minute storage for 2 college students was tough.. Stephanie made it easy.. found a great rate online, she made sure she explained everything thoroughly for these kids who are new to the process and gave a tour of unit sizes. She helped set up everything online as well to make sure it was done correctly. The units seemed pretty clean and the area felt more comfortable than some others we saw that seemed at bit sketchy.
These kids were much more comfortable renting a unit here than other places we saw that day and you couldn’t beat the price
