So I was treated like royalty today by Tamika Unlike other pl places that you are behind or not aware that the bill is due or you know any issues that would’ve come up with your unit or just to have you on the same page as everyone and Tamika called me and let me tell you the service was impeccable. I actually am in marketing and if I had to grade the level of service, I do not know this young lady she does not know me. It’s just trying to help someone and the way she handled things was top-tier. She deserves every flower she can get now it has meant a lot for Public Storage because there are times you get such bad service. I’m rating her as the best agent there. Tamika has made Public Storage shine so bright please if you go there ask for Tamika she got you.

Online service sucks. App sucks. And the staff is literally never onsite. If they are they are very helpful and manage many locations. 1980s mentality company trying to operate in 2020s is a joke. Cheap storage rates but good luck on customer service fast response. Technology is all messed up.

I had no issue accessing my unit and the property workers are great but moving out today I noticed some issues. I actually like public storage but I don't like that the units at this location are not taken care of inside. Mine was surrounded by wooden boards as walls, holes on some of them with ductape everywhere, and something got to one of my boxes and ate or chipped at a box I had. I had live roaches and moths after removing everything. Whatever the fuzz is above my unit, it got so hot it falls apart and stuck to all my things. Some of the coloring even dropped and stained some of my things. Termite and roach frass everywhere. I just don't like the way they're taken care of on the inside at this location. Maybe it was just my unit. I'm not sure. I also left abruptly because my bill jumped to $60 more for no reason. I understand the month to month contract but a $60 jump? I'm used to maybe $20-$30 but that was crazy. I went to a completely new public storage because this location also didn't have the size I needed and it was completely different upkeep. Metal all around, and chained barriers in corners and overheads so nothing gets in the unit. I'm hoping it is more trustworthy and will protect everything for me.

The experience I had is completely unacceptable. Customers are misled with unreasonable practices, and I was told that if I did not move to another unit of the same size, my rent would be increased. This is entirely nonsensical, as the only consequence of choosing not to move is simply a rent increase. I cannot recommend this place under any circumstances. Highly misleading.

Beware of insane rent increases. In their webpage they advertise a in store rate of $54 and when I called to complain about a ridiculous rate increase they "adjusted" my rent to $74 a month, still $20 over their advertised rate. If you're not careful they will just rip you off. I made my final payment and I'm taking my stuff somewhere else. It's a damned shame, I have no complaints about the facility, but management will rob you blind. BEWARE...!!!!

You guys have to be out of your damn mind to increase rent for a 5x10 unit from $75 to $133. Extremely disturbed to go into my unit to find the burnt ceiling shedding all over my personal belongings, every single time I go there. Hole in the wall is still not fixed. Dead roaches. Such a horrible storage facility and public storage should be embarrassed that this place is even open. Whoever is increasing rent for this trash box should be fired and the facility should really close. The staff suck, they do not help at all, and they have not done anything to the facility which would require an increase in rent. They are not even climate controlled. DONT EVER USE THIS LOCATION.

Customer service at this location is hit or miss. Everytime I speak to a male, I’m met with some form of irritation. I called and apologized for moving out, without doing an inspection. My husband didn’t take the lock off. We were billed for another month, understandable. I called this morning to apologize and let them know there’s nothing in the actual storage and I will be up there when I can to fully close the account. Tony either didn’t hear me well, due to his response. Instead of saying, “oh ok there’s nothing in there, do you have an idea when you can come by to close your account?”. Tony proceeded to state theres another lock on the storage and my “items” will be up for auction. I was confused, because I’d already moved out. I just needed to finalize my final bill and be done. He laughed and said I was funny, in regards to my confusion. The situation was easy and simple. Don’t call the office directly, call the 1-800# and you’ll be better off.

This location has the worst customer service I have ever experienced ANYWHERE. When we got this unit last December, I made it aware that two other people were allowed to have permission to access the unit at any time because I live out of state. In August we started having issues when one of those people were denied permission. When I reached out to the customer service number that this location gave me, I never received a response, and was denied any contact with upper management. Two days ago I called this location to let them know that those other people that were on the account were coming today to move out. I was given an email address by a representative at this location to send written permission to. The email didn’t work and they wouldn’t accept a copy of the email that I sent to customer service. When my family got there today to empty the unit, it took them 6 hours, a call to the police, and for me to go to a location near me to allow them access.

My experience was great. I came in to replace the lock on my storage unit and i was greeted by sue as soon as i walked in the door. Sue was very nice and promptly assisted me with everything i needed.

The service staff were wonderful and very helpful when I was applying for a rental and when I moved out. My issue was the cockroaches that came into my unit and made it into my mattress. I had no food in my unit but still I found multiple cockroaches when I removed all of my belongings. If you rent a unit here, be sure to buy cockroach traps so.
My experiences was awesome! I was helped by Alexis and her coworker. Alexis was very kind, patient and very helpful! My experience was quick and easy!! I would recommend anyone to this storage it’s affordable with great customer service!!

Can’t count on this place to keep your furniture safe. After believing that my furniture would be safe I was wrong! my couch and TV stand were ruined with mold and after a water leak, for them to let me know that they checked the room and there wasn’t a leak, what am I now? A lier? just awesome! After a month and half to let me know they can’t do anything about my ruined furniture. After wasting my time and MONEY. I don’t recommend this Public Storage at all.

Just recently got a unit. It was a 5x5 honestly it was a bit bigger than expected so I was happy about that. The staff Alexis was so super nice she was amazingly helpful and very friendly I am happy I chose this as my storage facility. I really love that it is so protected as well. I feel like my things are safe here.
I have been with the Altamonte Public storage for some time now and Josie and Alexis have been a tremendous help from the very beginning. They have always assisted me with helpful information, resources, great hospitality and treat my matters with care. A pay raise is definitely deserved! They make public storage look GREAT and show that they stand by the companies mission statement, which is truly appreciated by the customer (me).

do yourself a favor and don’t ever rent a storage unit from this location I rented a unit for 3months and when i returned to retrieve our items we found massive amount of roaches in all our boxes and belongings. all our funiture was stained yellow because of the ceiling falling down. we had to throw out most of all our stuff. when i went to the office i was told to file a claim with orange door insurance that i had to pay extra for. and dealing with the insurance company that was a big waste of time and they will find away to not pay you. I sent a message to the district manager on his voicemail and never received a return call. so that was a waste of time. the people that is running this place don’t care at about there customers. Please don’t waste your time with this company
You will thank me . i doubt i will get a response from them even on this.

5. High employee turn over at least 4 times in 24 months ( this is a huge indicator that something is terrible y wrong here )

I am a repeating customer of Public Storage but this was my first experience at the Altamonte Dr location. Linda was present at the desk with a smile and directed me to upgrade my unit due to the lack of space from the one I purchased online. Her insight and expertise saved me so much trouble; a great customer service experience.
We had a great experience in renting a unit for storage in this location. The staff was very helpful and guided us to the whole process of showing us the space then how to use the access code.
I would come here again because they treated me and my mother well in a very respectful manner.
When I moved back in my family along with my own children. This was the location I found. They have been exceptional when it comes to customer service and many other things.
