This Wonderful woman by the name of Andrea at Public Storage was absolutely phenomenal. From the moment I walked in with my reservation she was attentive & her customer service was beyond the 5 star ratings, she offered water on this Hot day & she was extremely patient on showing me the unit that would work best for me. Her personality was very genuine and sincere & her smile was magnificent the entire time & made this property feel like the right place to settle my belongings, it's hard to find okay customer service & she reconsidered hope in the business field. Moved out of a storage unit 7/1/2024. I’m still getting charged for another month after they have closed my account and no longer access to the unit. When Richard reached out to me he never mentioned nothing about a remaining balance of $122 until I checked my account through the app. I have tried calling in different time frames and even left a voicemail. Seems like he is now avoiding me and I am left out of $122 bucks. Thanks a lot Richard.

Theft from employees and corporate executives like to act like it’s never their business to investigate the theft of someone’s belongings and property. Seek attorney support and sue them

Do not be fooled by the “good star rating” this place is horrible. We had 2 storage units one which they broke into and had a different lock on it. They checked their system and my unit was then rented out to some girl. So all of my belongings are gone and when I had a “higher manager” he asked “what do you want me to do about it” so if your things go missing they won’t do nothing to help. Also this place is constantly raided with homeless people sleeping inside empty storages and taking dumps everywhere. They recently did a clean up or something but multiple times we continue seeing bums walking inside when the gates open up. They also offer you “deals” but then within months they raise your monthly fee drastically! Pay extra to be with a better storage company is all I recommend.

Not really in the best neighborhood, but I have never felt safer about my things in this building. There was one hiccups had with my billing and branch manager went to extensive lengths to get the best possible resolution for my unit. Thanks Z!

I am a little confused at all the good reviews for this place, they cannot be real... I've been here for less than a month and I will be cancelling my rental here. Same issues everyone else is having: Tons of break-ins, no security, homeless throughout the property, people living in units, stolen cars parked out front. It's a total mess and dangerous. I am out. DO NOT store your valuables here.

Someone cut the locking mechanism on my unit in which public storage contacted me to let me know. However a week goes by, many things get taken and the locking mechanism does not get fixed. So for over a week my unit was left unlocked and the only options they offered me was to wait or move out because they did not have a unit available for me. So finally i had to go and fix the issue myself. Beginning from day one at this facility i have had the worst experience.

Habitually raises the rent every several months. When I began renting my unit it was priced at approximately $60/month and 15 months later it's almost $90/month for a 5x5 unit with no climate control.

After paying for the unit and receiving email and text confirmation that my unit was ready, I showed up to unload my truck this morning. The attendant from the front office met me at the unit to unlock it, and after opening the door, I was greeted with the site of a pile of feces (not sure if it was human or animal), as well as a dirty floor. The attendant didn’t say anything, but when I pointed to the feces, he said he’d go get something to clean it up. No offer of a new unit, no chemicals used… it was completely disgusting. If I hadn’t had a truck to return and a flight to catch this afternoon, I would have had the time to sit around and wait for a new unit. But when I receive a confirmation that my unit is ready for move in, I think it’s safe to assume that it’s been cleaned and checked for health and safety violations. I feel sick having to leave my belongings in a small unit that had faces in it for god knows how long… the only thing the attendant had to say for this is something to the effect of “haha yeah we have some lazy employees.” DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. Because I’m so horrified by the situation, I will be booking a flight back next month to move my stuff from this disgusting place. I wish I had the time and resources to do it today. I have tried calling customer service and starting a chat in the website with no luck, but I will be filing a formal complaint regarding the situation.

Storage was broken into. These things happen but how the company handled it was sad and quite mean overall. Lady with the tattoos that manages it told me it wouldn’t be a good idea to make a claim, and told me it was my fault. When the police arrived they explained that this storage unit gets broken into 4-10 times a month. Insurance will not cover my belongings because I didn’t have photos. :/ win some lose some but avoid this place at all costs!

When I didn’t get satisfaction from customer service, I contacted the property at 680 Sheridan Storage directly. I was fortunate to connect with Andrea who continuously followed up for me until my problem was resolved. Nice speaking to someone who was not robotic and was extremely helpful!

I was looking for a storage unit to place my daughters belongings while she transitioned to another state for work and I did a lot of research wanting to make sure our property would be safe. I always check google reviews and I did see there were some negative reviews for this facility but the location was very convenient so I went to check it out for myself When I went in Delfina greeted me with a smile and answered all my questions and addressed my concerns she was very professional. The security is top notch she took me on a tour inside the electric gates that you have to have a code to get into also an abundance of cameras throughout the property. She was completed her walk throughs with a clipboard checking to ensure all locks were secured. Although I did see some homeless outside the gates near the highway I can't really base that to have made my decision because there is literally homeless throughout the entire city. There were very high black iron spike gates surrounding the property so I felt my property will be secure and safe and Delfina was wonderful an just a pleasure to meet.

They were there when I needed them and the management is really sweet.

Do not ever rent from public storage places they will rip you off and they have homeless people staying there and won't give your money back! And have break in from your storage and won't give you any insurance

Let me be clear this is a review based solely on staff as I just got my rental today. Delfina was an absolute pleasure to work with. She spent considerable time helping me get the best option. Her brand of customer service is special and could serve as clinic for anyone in a service role. I do have serious concerns about the homeless camp just outside their gates. I will report back on that situation, if it is a problem.

Homeless people live all through out this storage complex. We have had our storage broken into and stuff stolen. We also had to throw away anything made out of cloth due to the homeless guy living in the unit next door having bugs. Terrible!

While the people who work here are friendly and helpful, I cannot recommend this location to anyone. I just found out today that I've been robbed of thousands of dollars worth of gear, auto equipment, tools, DJ gear, and keepsakes. I'd seen cut locks on the ground in the past, which should have been a red flag to me. This is my first time renting a unit, so lesson learned I guess. I figured it was from the owner removing locks on defaulted units. This place needs a serious security upgrade. I can't believe there's like 4 of these locations within a 1-2 miles radius. No wonder it was so inexpensive to lease. I'm very grateful I have my external insurance for the items and can cease business with the company immediately.

Completely uncooperative employees who went out of their way to waste my movers time and my money. Go elsewhere

Was there barely a month someone cut my lock off took my stuff there’s a lot of homeless around there just walking around guess I should realized it from the begininning and on top of that the insurance I got thru them says I need to prove my stuff was mine!!?? Wait someone burglarized my storage and I have to prove my belongings . Such a scam do discussed

Plz God DO NOT! Rent from here. I have been renting for over a year and Lord knows, I should have gotten my stuff out of there a long time ago. However, most recently they have put two green padlocks on my storage and refused to remove them. I have have waited for two hours for the office to be open way past the time it was supposed to be open and no one had ever came. I contacted customer support and they told me that they were going to get in touch with the property manager and the district manager and that it would take 24 to 48 hours for the green padlocks to be removed. And then, if I want them removed earlier, I may call a locksmith and have them removed but I will not be reimbursed. If I do so within the year of me, having this storage, they had raised the price of twice and that was just in the first year. I am trying to get my stuff out of storage but they are refusing to remove the locks and I will have to wait 24 hours to 48 hours for them to remove the locks and if I damage the locks to get into my unit that I pay for they will sue me. I am million times do not recommend renting from this location.

DO NOT use this facility. Everything is fine until you try to close your account, spoiler it is impossible. I was charged for additional months rent even after I closed my account. I talked with several people on the phone and in person but was always given the run around. 2 months later I received a letter that I had been sent to collections which I am now disputing. Moral of the story, this company is not worth the headache.

The gentleman that helped me transfer to another storage was a very knowledgeable and very helpful very helpful thank you public storage that gentleman was a good employee that's who you should have more of people that are aware of people that rent and not knowledgeable how to do it that gentleman was very helpful I'd recommend that storage to anybody

Do not park your car in one of the outdoor lots here! I had my car window shattered and belongings stolen. Took a day for me to come get my car after the break-in and when I arrived the shattered glass was still around my car and not cleaned up. Staff told me that break-ins happen often. There was supposed to be someone that stays on the property 24/7 to watch things but I was told they quit and no one was on site when my car was broken into. Security cameras were also apparently not working.

I was at public storage off Sheridan yesterday and I have no idea if they train there employees to be rockstars or what but if they don’t its probably because they have Marnie. Im not at public storage everyday but im there often and from the times ive been there i can tell that just having her as an employee generates a perfect example of a 5 star employee enough in its own that they don’t need a class, or a how-to video, just send all new employee’s to Sheridan and have them work with Marnie. They will learn everything they need to and if they have any questions they will be answered promptly and correctly. Seriously, anyone who goes out and purchases there own tool in order to do a better job at there work is five star. Anyone who goes above and beyond without asking or without getting paid for it, is five star. Anyone who does something and didnt have to is five star. When you develop enough of these five star ratings in my opinion that makes you a rock star and thats what Marnie at public storage off Sheridan is. A rock star.

Marnie is an amazing person. She goes above and beyond. She was so kindhearted and thoughtful about my situation. I was well taken care of. I’m so happy that Marnie took time out of her busy day to talk with me and help me figure out which unit would be best for my situation. She genuinely cares.
